Absolutely breath taking views! Perfect location, close to town. Dead quiet and private. Great shower, unreal water pressure. Had an issue with no hot water, property manager was very quick to fix the issue!

It's a very unique accommodation and the view outside was stunning. It was a very special experience for me and my wife.

Serenity - it is quite furthur out from town center. Very serene
The View - pure private lake view with balcony
Design - every details are very thoughful. Lots of stairs. Even have a story book of building the place. Not suitable for elders though.
Because it is a self-check in property, when coming at night for the first time is quite hard to find because no lights turning on at all.

We loved the position across the water with a perfect view while also nearby the Main Street. Was a cute property and made us feel comfortable and cozy.

Absolute waterfront, with parkland and gentle walking tracks.
The tiny house has character and charm. You can tell this is a passion project by the owners.
Self check in was relatively easy.
Layout is nice with a generous amount of space, appliances and comforts.
There was a ‘chill space’ with bean bags and a guitar with one broken string (which I restrung). It was a great little area to read and zone out.
The tiny house isn’t as premium as you might hope; a little scrappy around the edges, with loose yard equipment tucked underneath and some rough finishes… but it’s a one-of-a-kind experience and arguably the nicest stay in Te Anau.
The area is not as remote as the aerial photo suggests (there’s other neighbouring residential) but it’s still serene.
The insulation seemed a little thin in the tiny house, as it seemed to lose warmth fast as soon you turned off the heater.
Also the front sliding door lock was a little stubborn.
Communication with Bachcare (who manage the property) was confusing: they sent out an email saying linen was not included (towels, bedding): As I saw no mention of this when I booked- I emailed and they stated it was… So why email that in the first place ?

The experience was lovely
The fans were too loud
