Beautiful property tucked away from the main streets. Couldn’t fault our experience! Can’t wait to come back in December!
Would of loved if there was a blind/privacy netting on the kitchen window 🫣

Convenient with kids. Lovely activities and it was beautiful
In our cabin, the bathroom sink didn’t drain well

Super comfy beds, really clean, great bathrooms, beautiful locations. Great value for money. The aesthetic and the views were fantastic.
The cabins get very cold and while there was a spilt system in the main room, more heaters are definitely needed for the colder season.

We had a lovely time at the ranch and it was the perfect spot for my toddlers to run around, and explore all the animals.
Beds were comfy..
The room was very spacious and we were happy to have a small kitchenette to make coffees and breakfast in the morning. The kids loved the hot chocolates and biscuits, such a lovely touch.
I think linen should be included in the cost as it was a bit annoying having to bring our own linen, pillows, blankets etc. It wasn't mentioned that linen wasn't included until I had booked the accommodation too.

We loved staying at The Ranch!
The property is beautiful, surrounded by rolling hills and animals.

The double bed had a comfortable bed however the booking I made indicated there was 2 double beds in the room. They're were multiple bunk beds though, but most too high for young children.
The signage wasn't efficient to find the actual reception. Once we drove far enough we eventually found "the chapel" We weren't allowed to check in until 3 and upon check in the combination for the key didn't work. When I attempted to call reception, the phone wasn't answered after 3 attempts. When I went to reception in person there was no one to be found, I then left to find a staff member outside and eventually found one. I told her we couldn't get in, she came to help and ended up having to go back to the office for another key. The whole process to get into our room took far too long whilst having our kids wait in the cold. For the price and what was advertised as the room we were booking I wouldn't stay again.

A great place to take your family! Lovely staff and surroundings
We had a mixup with the booking, this was Bookings fault though and the staff and owners were really really helpful!

We loved the location, close to Rosebud and the beaches but quiet setting in the evenings. Excellent opportunity for raptor photography with Kestrels, Black Shouldered Kites and Wedge-Tailed Eagles gliding right over the cabins. Staff were very friendly. Beds were firm which was perfect for us all. The room and bathroom were very tidy.
We had to wash all the cutlery and dishes before using them as they were not clean. 2 bowels had chip crumbs in them and there was a dry dairy product on a few spoons.
Cell Reception is limited so download any movies and music before you arrive.

the cabins smelt damp and musty.

Room configuration
We had a room that had old Carpet and needed an update like the others

The pony rides and pool
The double bed is so uncomfortable, barely got sleep over the nights there, and woke up in extreme pain from the bed. Plus could do with a couch in the room or a comfy chair to watch the tv

Bringing own towels bedding adds to the space in car

The location is convenient and the ranch setting is cute.
The listing did not mention that we would need to bring our own bedding and towels, if it had we would not have booked. We only found this out by email after we made the booking, but it was non-refundable so we were stuck. This is very important to let people know as they may be interstate or international travellers and not have these to bring! The listing also said breakfast was available, but we couldn't get anything until 9:30 and then only warmed up baked goods were available. The mattresses were not comfortable and we slept quite poorly. There were no channels available on the TV. With all these problems I definitely do not think it was a good value.

We spent 2 nights at the ranch and it was great. The location was ideal. Will definitely be recommending it to my friends.
