Great Value & Comfort

Very comfortable bed, quirky decoration. Newly refurbished en-suite bathroom in our room. Easy self access front door entry. Well equipped kitchen & good selection of breakfast provisions for self service. Good clothes hanging & drawer space.

More control over the heating would be good especially in the bathroom where the heated towel rail was either on or off & was too hot when on. (But overall it was great to be warm & cosy)

I've stayed here a few times and am generally happy with it.

Clean room, nice kitchen, overall condition of property good, location handy for station/town centre

There was a mix up over which room I should stay in - I hadn't received any info from the host about my room and they have in the past named the room in an e-mail to me. So I looked up their website for info and found a single room for the same price as I had paid on Booking.com and picked that, thinking I had done well under the circumstances. The host contacted me by text the second day to say I was in the wrong room, like it was my fault. Otherwise the staff were friendly and helpful. Hot water came out of both taps in my room; no cold water. The toilet in the main bathroom was loose on the floor mountings. A guest in another room (apparently a long-term resident) was noisy late at night playing rap music.

Smooth check in experience and well equipped kitchen with everything that you need for a short stay.

I liked the quirkiness of the hotel. It was super clean and I was really happy that we were able to bring our dog as well.

The room was a little small.

Convenient place in Redruth

The facilities in the kitchen were great, good spread of continental options for breakfast, nice place to sit and easy to prepare your own meals. The location was great as Redruth centre is just a short walk away. It is in a beautiful street. The staff there kept everything clean and were lovely. A nice place!

The WiFi was very patchy, we spent quite some time without WiFi. The room we were in got a bit hot and you can only open the windows a tiny bit. But those are details and didn't bother us.

Lovely Lansdowne

Great place, clean, well equipped kitchen and DIY breakfast. Bread, pastries, fruit, juice. Easy to access and easy parking. Only bumped into one member of staff but they were really friendly.

Comfortable 10/10

Decor of room/house was unique and interesting . The ‘help yourself ‘ breakfast was lovely - juices , cereals , croissants and toast all provided. Room was very clean and excellent shower. We stayed in stag room.

Parking was on the road outside which was busy so difficult to park at times. This couldn’t be helped though as there wasn’t any other option.

Beautiful quirky little place ,loved the decor really pretty themed rooms would absolutely stay here again ,complimentary breakfast was lovely and readily available, bed comfy and a lovely view from the room ,can't fault the place at all ,so quiet never heard a peep from anyone else staying there

Incredibly pleasant and well located

The Parakeet suite was very spacious and rather cheap for the amount of people it welcomes. The choice of food for the complimentary breakfast is decent. Redruth is a lovely and very quiet town, rather central to Cornwall, making it the perfect gateway to many of the tourist attractions in the region.

Extremely minor but would’ve appreciated instructions for checking out (where the put the used bedsheets/towels, where to leave the keys etc)

I loved the architecture of the house from the outside. I really liked the eclectic and quirky decorating style. Plus it was really nice to have food available and kitchen facilities. We didn't need dinner and had a couple of pieces of toast and coffee which was available in the kitchen. There was a very comfortable bed in the badger room and nice bathroom. We liked meeting up with the other guests. When we arrived we had a query about parking which was quickly answered. On the day we left we had a query which was also quickly answered.

We couldn't think of anything we didn't like except parking on the street which is not something that could be changed.

Very nice, good value and clean. Great central location. I like the DIY breakfast.

I enjoyed the stay. The room was comfortable and the facilities very clean. The single bed was comfy and there was tea & coffee facilities in the room. There was a sink in the room and TV. The self-service continental breakfast was ideal for me. Great shower.

I shared a bathroom. I knew this when I booked, so not a problem. But I was woken up early by other guests getting up and using the bathroom and leaving (6 - 7 am) each day. I think they must have stayed for work. Maybe it would be better if work guests could be in the downstairs guest rooms?
