Beautiful oasis in the heart of Arusha

The location (in the middle of Arusha, next to the creek), the romantic African huts, the syle, the breakfast.

The restaurant was not working, thus there was no dinner on site and no bar / place for socializing in the evenings.

Amazing!

Great location - close to town for anything you need, with food/drinks at the attached restaurant, small shop and an ATM just across the street. The beds are comfortable, hot showers with good water pressure, amazing breakfast (included), and the friendliest owner+staff! Very quiet at night, and I loved relaxing on the back porch surrounded by trees and sounds of the river. So perfect I’ve already been back 3 times :)

COSY HOTEL IN THE CITY CENTER

Great place for long and short stay. We were extremely satisfied about the disponibility of the receptionist. Nothing was a problem for him. We arrived late and had a very early departure. He was so kind to walk us to the restaurant (safety reason by night) and prepered an early breakfast at 05:00am. Felt very welcomed from the beginning until the end. Definitely recommend and for sure will be back!

Great value for money.

The place is incredible value for money. The breakfast was beautiful and specifically made to our wishes. All around the houses are avocado trees providing a feeling of being in a little oasis in the middle of a busy city. The little houses are surrounded by an electrical fence so very safe. Staff here was friendly, but compared to other accommodations we visited in Tanzania didn't really devote much attention to us. We thought this was quite refreshing.

Our accommodation was very cheap and accordingly there are a few comforts we missed. There were small bugs in our room and we had trouble with the hot water. The staff dealt very well with the small issues we had though.

Great location, easy to walk to main places, bed was soft and comfortable with good mosquito net, nice breakfast made specially. Booked taxi to the airport for me.

A bit cold at times, did find hair in plug hole and shower drain took a while.

The location of the hotel nearby city center.

Sounds of cars passing by near highway, and the windows are not able to be closed completely due to the cold weather in Arusha.

Fantstic breakfast, very flexible and accommodating. Perfect location, not too noisy and surprisingly green for being in the center of the town.

there is only one outlet per room and it is in a very inconvenient position

cold dorm but good value

central location, sitting in a green garden, friendly staff and clean room. good value for a budget price.

the dorm has no proper windows only a mosquito net, so it was very cold. WiFi was not working, only one plug for the whole dorm behind a bed. the bathroom has a Glas window in the door, looking right into the dorm and the handle was broken. also I booked a hiking tour with them. I can not recommend it. I didn’t get any briefing or an itinerary. It felt like the man at the office didn’t really know himself. also no safety measurements such at least asking for an emergency contact. the crew for the hike itself was very nice

The guy working there (Inocent) was super kind and helpful. He woke up even earlier just to make my breakfast on both days that I stayed there. The hostel is beautiful, everything is very clean and nice. The terrace is amazing!

The location is good but you need to cross the river to get to downtown. Not a big problem anyway

Very friendly staff, beautiful place with lovely garden. The breakfast is perfect 🥰 and the location is right on town. There is a great restaurant in the property. I really enjoyed staying there for almost two weeks and felt like home. Thank you guys for that ☺️

It's been an outstanding experience.

In short: Definitely book it! Long version: This place is just amazing! I've never been to a place with a better money-quality ratio. The stuff is soo lovely, the hostel is clean and really nice, the included breakfast is fresh and always different. If you want you can also book activities via them and they help you with all your questions. You can either go for the restaurant directly in the hostel and eat local dishes for a really good price or have a ton of cafés and restaurants like two to five minutes away by foot.

- A very serene place inside to relax and spend time with other travelers. - Staff members are so kind and attentive and responded to all my needs; they even arranged a Serengeti trip for me.

- A lizard was freely roaming around while I was taking a shower. It's not the venue's fault, though. - The room is a bit dark and humid.

Nice rooms and super easy to meet great people for traveling! Love the outdoor areas around the bar/restaurant. Breakfast was decent and the other food at the restaurant is good. There is a nice fruit stall right in front of the property that is good and very affordable. Staff are very nice and very helpful! Would absolutely recommend you stay here!!

Looked into booking a coffee farm tour and the place recommended was very expensive (I think 70 USD). Ended up finding one myself for 10 USD that was still a great tour. Would not recommend doing laundry here as it was quite expensive (15 USD flat fee), but I had just been climbing and was in desperate need of some washing.

All in one shop accommodation

This is an all in one location. They have a restaurant bar safari and tour options plus the staff will go out of their way to find or call anyone you may need. I booked my 3 day safari tour with them and it was very affordable and prompt pick up. The location is close to the city center as well as money exchange, local market and grocery store. I ate in the restaurant both nights and the food portions are great. They also have security at the front gate and it's an overall peaceful environment. The beds are spacious and there are plenty of outlets in the room as well as provided sandals and towels.

The bathrooms in the zebra room are open in the top so you can hear everything a lot more than usual while you're in bed. Not sure if all the huts are like that but it was a bit much early in the morning.

Excellent stay

Comfortable accommodations and wonderful service! Very relaxing environment which was very much needed after traveling about 33 hours from the US. The massage/spa add on was also a plus. Definitely recommend staying here if staying in Arusha!

Breakfast could have been a bit nice, dorm room was pretty small and the door to the bathroom was really hard to close.

Avoid! No rest, no good facilities. Just a dump.

Doesn't look like on the pics. Loud, very loud! I couldn't sleep at night at all. You can hear everyone and everything. The paths are made of some weird tiny stones that were rattling whenever someone walked there. Room is tiny and very sad and basic. No space to put your things, no hanger, nothing. Just a bed and one chair. The bathroom was basic as well. I was scared something will crawl into the room at night. Plus there were drunken people who you could hear all the night. Cherry on the top of this poor cake was the coffee in the morning. It was like if you drank water after cleaning coffee machine. It had almost no colour even!! I asked for another one and been told, that's the way they make the coffee.. I almost cried, as I needed something decent after horrible night at this place. For breakfast they offered some dry cookies with margarine 🤮🤢
