A comfortable rural style cabin stay

The cabin was close to where we needed to stay to connect with family. It was kitted out with what we needed for a short stay of three nights. The bathroom was tight but clean and tidy enough. Quite a long walk from the road down the lovely rural driveway (a bit awkward with no vehicle), we enjoyed seeing local wildlife but grateful it wasn't raining heavily.

The cabin didn't seem to be insulated and with the heat pump situated above the head of the bed it wasn't suitable to run overnight while sleeping. During our stay there was colder weather and there was a trade off between running the heat pump and having a breeze blow on you when sleeping or the cabin being cold. The shower holder was a bit loose and the shower sporadically went cold.

What an amazing charming cute and cosy cabin. It had everything you need and more, superbly clean and warm. Quiet peaceful and perfect

It was very peaceful and relaxing.The cabin was very clean.

There was nowhere really to put the toaster only on top of the fridge even then the lead was a bit short to reach the plug socket properly. Would benefit having a plug socket near the table. Also the mirror in the shower room was too high. I am 5ft tall and couldn't even see the top of my head 😂

Superb

My second visit so I knew what to expect and Cosy Cabin met all my requirements. Since my last visit an air conditioning unit has been installed which was a godsend as it was very hot on my recent visit. Definitely an improvement on the same weekend last year when it was also hot and there was no a/c.

Ideal for a short stay with a dog.

It was dog friendly and had a huge field behind the cabin, perfect for exercise.

The mirror in the shower room was too high…I could only just see the top of my head!

Home Away From Home

Perfect location for my needs. I stayed while my house was being redecorated. The hosts made me feel really welcome and I was easily able to extend my stay when needed. It felt really secure and everything was clean when I arrived.

The bathroom did not warm up, at all: despite putting the radiator on. Also, the lighting was a bit dark but it wasn't horrendous.

No breakfast lovely location, property only really suitable for short stay we were there 10 days. Kitchen would be to hard to cook in for two people . Bathroom extremely small only suitable for slim people. Shower ran hot and cold to begin with . Only 1 toilet roll for 10 days supplied, no kitchen roll supplied and only 1 tea towel. Could have done with a shelf to put bathroom toiletries. Bathroom morrow to small and to high. Need a full length mirror somewhere.

Just a bit more thought for the longer stay residents. Otherwise would only recommend short stay.

Comfortable bed, very quite location. Excellent shower - sparkling clean.

Very warm weather, but windows could not be locked in open position, so felt a little insecure. Self adhesive hooks in shower room kept falling off.

Nice stay outdoors in a safe area.

Nice ouside location with a large field and a lake nearby. Perfect for BBQs, relaxing and no traffic noise or sirens. Andy is amazing and very understanding as a host. Best stay ever. 11/10 recommend

Exceptional

The Cosy Cabin is the perfect little get away. It has a real home away from home feel. The location is fantastic if you still want to me close to local amenities but want the quietness of the countryside. Check in was easy and stress free and we could come and go as we pleased. Will most definitely be back!

The cabin was set in a very pretty quiet location. it had a cute little garden which was lovely when eating and chilling out in. It was as it said very cosy, clean, and everything had been thought out with what was needed for us to use. The cosy cabin although in a quiet location had a town, shops, parks, restaurants in a 5 min drive. The owners were absolutely brilliant with everything from the directions to the place along with the information book with all instructions with the water, heating, tv etc

Cosy indeed

Seriously impressed with the property. Upon arrival everything was clean and well presented with extras such as tea, coffee, washing up liquid and various other bits that you’d usually bring yourself. Andy and Max were most helpful when seeking a bit of help here and there. Great quiet location in a very nice Essex town. Came down to Essex for a sports expedition and made a holiday out of it at the same time. Cheers guys!

Beautiful and immaculate

The bus was beautiful. It had everything we needed, was immaculate and we loved the screen and projector in bed. We were greeted with a smile and assured if we needed anything we could contact the number provided. The bed was also really comfy.

Cant say there was anything we didnt like.
