About this house rental
South Lodge is a Grade II Listed Georgian town house built c1780 close to the lovely town of Billericay in Essex and London is just 25 minutes by train.
Local amenities from shops and supermarkets to pubs and restaurants are right on your doorstep.
A real authentic quirky 'lived-in' English home restored keeping many of the original features.
The windows are the original sash's (the glass has been dated to 1780), the main bedroom ceilings are high, the third bedroom features a large balcony overlooking the garden.
All of the house and garden are available to you, including a fully equipped kitchen, covered BBQ area with table and chairs, garden cocktail bar and ‘woodland’ spa (please check availability for spa).
I often stay/work in the detached office/studio/log cabin with my small but friendly dog. We keep out of the way and generally only use our garden, guests have their own separate garden, but I am available if you need assistance/local info etc.
Mill Meadows, 92 acres of protected pasture and woodland is just across the road and excellent for walking, picnics and dog walking.

As a self-catering house, you'll find everything you need for a perfect stay.
The kitchen has a fridge, a hob, an oven, a kettle, a freezer and a microwave.
The house is a perfect place to relax and offers a television and super fast internet access throughout.
This house has 4 bedrooms and can comfortably sleep 6.
In the first bedroom, you will find a kingsized bed.
In the next bedroom, there is a king sized bed.
The third bedroom contains a double bed.
The fourth bedroom contains a single bed and access to the large balcony.
There are 2 bathrooms (one en-suite) and a downstairs toilet.
The main bathroom has a toilet and sink, traditional slipper bath and a walk-in shower.
The ensuite bathroom has a toilet and sink and a walk-in shower. Linen and towels are all included to make your stay more enjoyable.

- Check-in time is 5pm and check-out is 10am. Smoking is allowed. There is free parking facilities available at the property. Pets are allowed at the property.
