The most cute and beautiful Motel we stayed in. We felt really welcomed by the staff and they gave us good recommendations for breakfast and dinner. The room was comfortable and the exterior common garden dreamy.
It will be perfect when they offer breakfast at the lovely entrance lobby.

Rooms were clean and motel was affordable.
No closet or hooks for clothes.

Nicely renovated. Great retro vibe.
Fleas.

Staff was warm & kind.
The white "universal remote" was indecipherable to us. All kinds of icons & modes. We could not tell the AC from the TV. Needs explanation/labeling in the room.

Cute remake of an old motel. Very clean, comfortable beds, great pillows, and great towels! Best bang for your Buck.
Some directions for TV and heat/cool system.

Very cool space, great outdoor space and all the mid century decor with modern amenities. Chris was very helpful and accommodating. 10/10 we're going to be making this a yearly destination. Also there was a working Edison gramaphone in our room!

Was very convenient to a family members home.
No handicap parking. No actual sidewalks to get you to your room since they dug up the parking lot and put in grass. its hard for old people to walk through the grass. there is no fan in the bathroom so the window was open when we got back to the room at 9pm at night. we were told the heating was done by a space heater Which we did not leave on while we weren’t there so the room was cold. And against my better judgment we ran the space heater all night which could’ve been dangerous. The TV was Roku with no local access. And limited knowledge by the staff to make it work.

Chris, the manager was super friendly. He helped us make a bonfire, gave us apple cider and s'mores on the house, chatte6d with us. His service was exceptional.
The place is like a 5 star motel if motels had their own system. Live the interior decor, the free coffee provided, and how comfortable the shower pressure was. The bed was an ideal amount of softness with great isolation if you share it with another.
Otherwise, this is a great location to greylock and other Berkshires locations. Will definitely be coming back if I revisit!
Not much really. I think it would be cool if they install vents in the bathroom because the window allows bugs to come in. But the motel is consistently improving itself so I won't be surprised if they have it next time I visit.

Cute little motel along the road, well lit at night. Staff is accommodating for late arrivals. We were able to watch Discovery+ as the TVs were equipped with Roku. We were very excited to stay here and it surpassed expectations. Will definitely use this as a stopping point in the future.

bed was too soft

Near the entrance to Mt. Greylock State Reservation. All ground level rooms with convenient parking. Gourmet coffee provided in the room.
Food was not readily available in the area. It's an out-of-the-way location several miles from the nearest city and town. Checkout procedure was not explained. No ice machine.

A classic blast from the past. what all motels should be like. A beautiful work in progress.
A quite peaceful rural location
Friendly courteous and responsive management

The overall atmosphere
we thought it was a bit unusual the owner was not present all the time. She did check in with us to see if we needed anything.

What did I think of the breakfast? What Breakfast? There was no one in site and the lobby was locked. I found the roadway to be very loud, maybe because it was raining. I was there with two other people who appeared to be contract workers. They came late and left early. I wanted to get info on the cottages that were shown online but in person the buildings behind appeared to be in need of repair.
There was no one at the facility. All rooms had keys in the door and I was notified of what room was mine. The shower did not work and I tried to find someone to tell. The toilet was dirty but the rest of the room was fine. The spray deodorizer was over whelming and I had to open the windows because I could taste the scent. The cleaning cart was left outside and packages were stacked at the office door. People stopped by wanting info on the facility because they saw it on TV, I told them to take a look around. Maybe there is a plan but it appears to be far from finished.

Very friendly owner, great style with a fun retro vibe, excellent value for the region. I was there in their first week of business, while they were still scrambling to get everything set up. I look forward to staying there again to see the “finished product”!
