RELAXING COZY SMALL APARTMENT IN A RESIDENTIAL AREA IN FT LAUDERDALE AREA

The place was good, in a nice and quiet residential area. It was enough for what we needed, it was cozy and relaxing. However, it needed some kitchen faucet or something like it to wash the dishes. There were a few kitchen utensils, soluble coffee, sugar and salt. Nice area, nice size room. Bathroom okay and kitchen area too. TV worked, along with NETFLIX and HBO. For the price we paid, it was a great choice!!!!

The place had ants...but we assume is because there is a garden outside. The AC was too high sometimes, there should be a button where we could regulate it. The entrance to the apartment should be paved...you come at night with suitcases and it is quite complicated to roll them. May be a courtsey water bottle or some cookies, because for example we arrived late at night and we did not have a vehicle, therefore, if there is nothing near by and you are hungry or thirsty, that would help a lot. The check out time can be a little bit later than 11.00, however, we requested an extension due to work and it was granted without a problem. We never met anyone, it was all due through codes and things like that.

Disappointing

Secure location. Clean.

Too far away from Los Olas for walking. Was not a great location for walking around. Had to locate yr owner as there was no toilet paper at the site. The host did supply but after having to ask again 4 hours later and it finally revived late at night. I would not stay at this particular property again. You definitely require a car to stay here.

Exactly what I was looking for

Location feels / felt safe, thoroughly enjoy(ed) the peace and quiet, unit kept at a very comfortable temperature, clean and modern, and appreciate that the renters take comments / suggestions into consideration, and correct any issues in a very timely fashion. It feels like home.

Honestly, nothing I can complain about.

it was very homey

The back sitting area could use a little more decorations since it’s nice and private there isn’t much to look at.. a covering and some tiki torches to make more of an oasis feel would go a long way. It was still very nice and comfortable nonetheless

Bad

We liked that we left this place.

Terrible. No sink in the kitchenette so you have to wash up in the bathroom. No toilettries. Cameras all over the property and in the laundry. Kitchenette hopelessly under prepared - I broken sharp knife one spoon and a broken bottle opener. BBQ doesnt work and is disgusting. You cannot control the temp - that's controller in the main house and if they are not there they turn the aircon off.

Media...

Near to downtown area, safe and silent area.

It has a fully equipped kitchen but it doesn't have a sink and you can't wash the dishes or glasses...the mattress was too high and too soft, uncomfortable to sleep on and there were no towels, cloths, rugs or napkins... I missed it at times and had to buy it. The garage should be used by guests, but no.

Incomplete

Because of the deficiencies i.e. no functioning TV, one coffee cup for two, one chair for two we had to leave the apartment and we had to leave the apartment after 2 days instead of fully paid 7 days. We found another location through Booking.com and paid USD437 over and above the cost of the 7 days stay at the apartment.

Comfortable and clean.

Very clean and comfortable, lovely décor and easy check-in. Fridge, microwave and utensils are available. Access was easy by car. It's not walking distance from beaches/nightlife/tourist spots, but I believe that is reflected in the lower rates and kind of typical for Florida and much of the US, where it is just assumed you'll have/rent a car.

The AC is quite loud and cannot be controlled by the guest. I had to text the person in charge to have it on the lowest possible setting (it isn't possible to turn it all the way off). If I had decided I wanted it turned up in the middle of the night, I would've been out of luck.

Great stay in Riverside

The location and the quiet Arrival instructions were very precise

No control on the AC. But it was very hot so I got used to it always being on. Never saw or spoke to owner or anyone. A little conversation would have been nice.

Overrated here...poor value

Not al lot! The rate is too high.

The location is not at all perfect, in fact it's quite isolated! There is 1 small shop and a bar... a 20 minute away. Thats it. A car is essential. We had serious issues with check in, the door was locked. We were very very lucky that the cleaning ladies were still there by good fortune, otherwise we could not have got in. We had no wifi or a us phone to contact the owner. Not a pleasant smell from the bed sheets/pillow. No toileteries.

i will not be back.

it was nice there was free parking

the room looked nice at first glance. when we laid down the bed smelled like dirt and sweat. tried to check for bed bugs but the mattress cover doesn’t come off… i messaged the property and asked for new sheets and pillows or if I could have a refund so we could go stay somewhere else and all they said is that there might be more sheets in the laundry room. disappointing to say the least. we’ll probably be leaving to go stay in an actual hotel and throw the money for here away because I can’t sleep in smelly dirty sheets. also there’s multiple doors to the room that you aren’t made aware of to begin with… with no locks on your side to keep people out and no indications to what they lead to but you can’t open them.

Location was perfect for what we needed. Room was great and communication was A+. Highly recommended.
