Ok pour un très court séjour

Les chambres sont spacieuses et propres. L'emplacement est très bien à quelques pas de la plage et des restos/bars.

Malgré les rénovations, cet hôtel démontre son âge. L'isolation sonore est inexistante. Le bruit des chambres environnantes et de l'extérieur est plutôt dérangeant, particulièrement le bruit du chantier de construction de l'autre côté de la rue qui débute à 6h la matin.

Am Beach von Fort Lauderdale

Gute Lage, Strandnah und einige Restaurants, Bars und Geschäfte in unmittelbarer Nähe Parkplätze vor dem Haus Kostenlose Strandtücher, Strandstühle und Sonnenschirme

Der Anmeldebereich war ziemlich unordentlich und auch der eigentlich schöne Innenbereich könnte etwas mehr Ordnung vertragen. Housekeeping sehr minimalistisch (es gab nur frische Handtücher), es wird kein Bett gemacht. Baustelle direkt nebenan, aber dafür kann das Hotel nichts.

Good for a budget stay.

The room was nice and large and good location

Wasn’t cleaned very well each day. Always hairs on towels, noise from other guests (screaming in the middle of the night) appreciate there isn’t much the hotel can do about that and facilities were a bit run down.

Close to beach

Rooms had broken AC, mold, and stains on walls and bedding. When requested a refund the staff claimed that the manager could only give me one, who was not on the property and none of them have his phone number. None of the staff answered the phone to the hotel in general

Rooms were very Spartan. Basically, a bed, a nightstand, and a wall mounted TV. Nothing else. Tv was mounted to the wall on the side of the bed making it uncomfortable to watch.

No parkingI thought it was a law or ordinance that you have parking to match number of rooms that were rented. Had to park in towaway zone until 8:00 am and guard car until check out. When they say limited parking that means NO parking for stay.

Qaility. quaint.

This value hotel is quaint, comfortable and 1/2 a block from the beach. It avoids the noise of the beach drive but access is right there. It is also close to CVS. Quaint courtyard where we met nice people.

Strong cleaning smell and the conflict of Spring Break but they handled that last part very well! Overall - this is a relatively inexpensive, well located, hotel with great service. Also near the water taxi! No gouging, only great basic service! Nice staff!

Location unfortunately isn’t everything

Good location close to Sebastian Beach, just a 3 min walk away from Beach and restaurants.

The Drift Hotel is a small Hotel squeezed betweengiant Hotel chains at the popular Sebastian Beach in Fort Lauderdale. Location is good if you want to stay close to the Beach. Other than that, the stay was quite a negative experience for us. The room that we had was very ran down, there was a certain stench in the room that didn’t want to go away. The AC while being pretty effective in cooling down the room, was extremely noisy, and also omitted an unpleasant smell. Everything in the room looked as if it could use a renovation or could be replaced by things that actually worked. The beds were very squeaky and the mattresses were very used and very soft same goes for the pillows that had seen a lot of guests. The bathroom was clean, but also smelled extremely moldy. The exhaust fan only works sporadically, and there was always a moisture buildup in the room warm water would take very long to arrive. In certain areas of the hotel there was Wi-Fi reception, unfortunately not so in our room. Across the street there is a massive construction site and it looks as if it works would continue for at least a couple years longer. Staff in general was nice. The problem was that the majority did not understand English; the vending machines for snacks and beverages ate a lot of dollars and they don’t really work, all in all this is an extremely basic hotel with a great location but I’m having a hard time recommending this place for anyone else who wants to spend precious vacation time in Fort Lauderdale.
