Agree with many of the other reviews that this facility is misleading and therefore disappointing.

The actual room was comfortable - The shower and bathroom was spacious and modern. The kitchenette well stocked and adequate for a one night stay. The bed was large and linen good. Would have liked a flat sheet under the duvet cover.

It was a major mission to get into the property - took ages to find someone to open the gate and show us to our room. While the room was good, for us the outside facilities are very important. These facilities were seriously lacking. The 'terrace' referred to in the room description, consisted of a concrete table and two concrete benches, against the boundary wall of the property, in a narrow paved communal walkway that led to two other rooms. We had no view from our 'terrace'. When I questioned this relative to the photos I had seen on the site, I was told to look better at the photos of the room next time, to see exactly what I was booking for. There was no photo of the 'corridor/terrace' attached to our room, so I presumed it would have a view as I had seen on the site. If there was a photo of the 'corridor/terrace' at the entrance door to our room, I would have questioned the outside space and definitely not booked the room.

Expexted more from property in Pezula at the price charged

Location. Nice view and we took the nature trail down to the beach.

Not as clean as expected. Communication from host poor and difficult to get acess need to coplete form and email to security and host no feedback on how and where to collect keys, no clear directions to property, flat smelly and windows not clean, matress bery hard and fridge noisy. Property neeeds a lot of maintenance For the price expeted a lot more. Stayed at the Turbine hotel 5 star for R300 more breakfast included.Uncomfortable with the privacy.

A beautiful view and a very comfortable room.

It was a beautiful location- the view over the ocean was magnificent and the room was excellent and very clean- I was thrilled there was a bath! My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and especially appreciated the air conditioning.

It was a little tricky getting into the property, but I may have missed an e-mail with details. I few phone calls later and everything was sorted out.

I did not even get to see the place. On route to the accommodation I got a call to inform me that the place was flooded

I did not even get to see the place. On route to the accommodation I got a call to inform me that the place was flooded and that I would not be able to access it. And I was offered my money back. When I informed the caller that I was driving and only a few hours away and how inconvenient this was, he offered to look for something appropriate on the estate. I did not appreciate my interaction with this person at all, but the alternative accommodation was fantastic and allowed me to put the experience behind me. He did not even bother to follow up and check on us, whether we arrived safely.

Garden route paradise

Lovely estate, very clean and safe. Very tight security! Tranquil area! Lovely accommodation, I was very impressed and it provided for all my needs. Easy access to various activities in Knysna and garden route.

My stay in Knysna

I liked the sea view from my room. Everything I needed for self catering was there.

The house is a bit far from the main gate. My room didn't have access to the pool so the photo is a bit misleading. It would be great if visitors can be made aware of these since there's nothing that can be done to change or fix them.

Pleasant

I must say the property was nice and definitely value for our money how ever was very much upset as we were not expected. We had to wait at the security gate for an hour and half so that security could confirm our booking. They were advised of another couple instead of us. it turns out that they did a double booking, fortunately we were the first to arrive at the venue. What made me more upset , We had to sign form before we could get to the venue , this is after they confirmed that were were really booked. I spoke to Luke about the form and he promised to send to me through whatsapp , which he never did. I had to find other means to get the forms other wise they were not allowing us to enter the premises without the forms. I command the security gaurs , they went above their duty. I they were not available , I would be telling a different story. I just wonder if the experience was because were were black. This is because I spoke to look on arrival and explained our difficulty however the was no follow up on his side. he had to be called by other people to confirm our booking.

Stunning apartment, stunning view and very comfortable once inside

To get into the Estate was a mission as the form we needed to fill in was not editable on a phone while traveling. When we got to to property no one was there we had to walk around and search for someone

I would highly suggest that you put extractor fans in the property as it smells a bit wet

Comfortable and quiet.

Had a nice sea view. Bed was comfortable and nice and big. Sofa infront of tv was comfortable and tv had Netflix. The water window caught us by surprise and is a nice touch. Easy access in and out. Pezula staff are very friendly.

The smell of the flatlet was not pleasant at first, but we got used to it. The plates, coffee cups and glasses were all wet/ damp so left a smell on them. We did not receive a welcome package which we signed for. We were not aware that the property got loadshedding. The blanket on the bed also had a funny smell.

I think booking there was a mix up wanted a sea facing room and I was so Sue I booked one. Get there and there was no sea view. Disappointed for days cause when booking it said sea view and from my room there was no sea view.

Definitely will not visit this place again.

Knysna is a very nice place to go and relax; the location made it possible to explore a number of places such as: Knysna Gin Distillery & Brewery & Cocktail bar, DryDock, Hello Gorgeous Spa, The Foundation - Bao Wow, etc.

On arrival we had to complete forms which was communicationed via the Booking.com app and not my email address. The owner(s) basically found it difficult to call and inform me what the procedure(s) will be on and prior arrival. Getting the property key(s) was like hunting for easter eggs; no communication from the owner(s) were received to inform us where to collect the key for the property. The rooms also had no numbering, we went to the wrong house checking if the key fit that we found in the post box. Also, they didn't even check-in to find out if we got the place or not. The parking was completely horrible, as soon as you leave the property your parking space is taken. I.e. it should be stated on the site that one should park WHEREVER you find a OPEN SPACE. One couldn't really relax as the doors had to remain close to prevent the baboons from entering and the pool was only available for the main house. There is also a R150 charge for cleaning services but NO ONE came to clean, not even ONCE whilst staying there.

No access to house pool or sea..photos not correct for what you get in this room.

I liked that I upgraded as the room I booked was dark and had a view of the parking lot and no sea access. The new room I moved to had a nice sea view...but several of the rooms in this listing do not and no pool usage. The new room was nice and modern just wish the expectations were truthful so to avoid disappointment. I would have given a good review if the listing was correctly betrayed.

Photos very misleading and no use of house pool that shows in the ad. For half the listings you don't actully use whats showing in the pictures of the house. A couple on their honey moon next to me were also upset it was misleading so I let them use my deck I paid extra more for on top of my orginal payment. Check in took over an hour as they make you PRINT off a form to fill out before entering. Then another 15-20 min wait for the security to write you another pass. So almost 1h30 min total until I saw my room which was not at all what I thought I booked so I appealed a change. Very hard to get ahold of management with bad cell service and during daily load sheading you can't cook at all as it's all electric so I had to eat out. There needs to be a disclaimer about that too. It's a shame as the place is pretty on the front that no one sees. The rooms are nice and comfy but ad should be way more clear.

Access was challenging. Security required printed hard copies of agreement, before allowing us entry. Travelling tourists don't have access to a printer. Rather strange- given that the entire booking was an electronic process.but yet, this was a ridiculous requirement.
