Absolutely amazing place to stay for anyone who's looking for peace and quiet. There you have your privacy that you need.

Fantastic off grid holiday let. Nothing better than waking up in the countryside. Amazing what you can do when you put your mind to it. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend if you want something different to your normal airbnb.

This is a really lovely place for a holiday. It’s secluded, peaceful and beautiful. Our hosts were kind and helpful. The little huts are well equipped and the hot tub is great.
We liked the fact that you have to park your car some way away - adds to the peace and quiet - but it might be hard for someone with mobility issues.

Lovely stay at Sky View, the huts are lovely and tastefully decorated in a rustic style. The main hut has a sink, fridge, gas stove, cooking equipment, utensils, dinnerware etc, a fold out table, log burner, rocking chair, games cabinet and sofa (sofa bed), with a ladder up to a small mezzanine bed, perfect for kids. The second hut is the main bedroom with a very comfortable double bed, cosy bedding, 2 bedside tables, a chest of drawers, chair, trunk, free standing towel rack and another log burner. Very comfortable sleep! The woodfired hot tub is great, you'll need quite a bit of wood if planning to go in it every day for say a week, but you can buy it from the hosts or pick up your own (they provide the first barrow load for you) and will help to get it going and refresh the water as and when needed. There is outside decking with tables and chairs, a barbecue and a firepit with log seats, great for toasting marshmallows and cooking-out. The shower is lovely and hot with good pressure, far superior to any other outdoor shower we've experienced when staying at other 'glamping' sites. The outdoor loo is pretty decent too, you just chuck in sawdust and saves having to change yucky chemical tanks like in a caravan, just bring a torch for night time! George was very helpful and ensured we had a good stay 👍thank you
The outdoor loo was a tad challenging if you go several times a night like me 🤪 for most I'm sure it's fine, don't let it put you off!

Lovely location good experience for all the family
Need a few sauce pans to aid with cooking other than that we had everything we needed

EVERYTHING!!!!! Despite the not-so-summery weather we had an amazing time!!! This is the ultimate location for total chill-out time away from reality. The little touches to the decor, the thoughtful additions by George and Sophie, were just lovely. I cannot recommend this place enough if you're OK with being out in nature, total silence, big skies, sheep as neighbours, and a new way of 'glamping'... the wood burning hot tub was the icing on the cake!
NOTHING!

The accommodation is in a stunning context, extremely bucolic. It is made of two old caravans perfectly decorated in country style. The woodburner hottub was fun and pleasant, in the Cornish chilly evenings, facing the sunset. The barbecue facilities as well are perfect for the location. Beds are comfy and one of the caravans has a sky viewing window that is perfect to stare at the stars in the warmth of the indoor. The owners are lovely, welcoming and have put a lot of attention in making the accommodation comfortable and sustainable.
The eco toilet is detached from the house and it is not the most pleasant experience, although totally expected in the rural context and in line with the sustainable approach. Similarly, the shower is detached and it is not indoor, fine to use in the summer, but I wouldn't enjoy it so much in the winter, and it is not recommended for aracnophobic guests. However, the shower per se is very pleasant, with lovely pressure and temperature.

Beautiful set up, well thought through, comfortable and very private. The hot tub was obviously a winner, but the shower was amazing as well. The owners were very friendly and helpful, even though they clearly had their hands tied with little kids and family they had visiting at the time. They helped us immediately when we run out of wood and kitchen foil and recommended some free parking by the beach and local places to eat (do try the incredible pizza and cider at the Cuckoo Valley minutes away). My autistic son accidentally broke one of their gas lamps, which I’ve offered to pay for, but they said not to worry about it.
Nothing not to like

Peaceful location. Super soft bed and luxurious feeling bedding. The sky light over the bed was fantastic. The hot tub was amazing. Sophie as a host was fantastic and I felt welcome even before I left home! The smallholding is just beautifully kept.
Lack of plug socket. Completely understandable as huts are entirely solar energy, but inability for a single socket was an extremely minor, nitpicking frustration

We loved the simple elegance of the shepherd’s huts, the use of materials is the perfect balance of necessity and style. The animals especially Dingle dog, the wood fired hot tub, a marathon monopoly game, the bed up the ladder and the space around us were a big hit with our children.
There is nothing we didn’t like.

Good location
The description on Booking.com of the bathroom was not sufficient. I would not have booked the property had I realised there was no plumbed bathroom or 3 pin sockets. We left after one night due to needing to charge essential devices

Parents, kids and dog all had a great time playing games, enjoying the hot tub and trips to the beach. Also the hot outdoor shower was great!

A warm welcome, charming huts finished to a high standard. Even though the majority of our stay was wet and windy we had a great time in the cosy huts, with the log burner crackling and enjoying board games by lantern light. We brought in the new year relaxed and refreshed for 2023....oh and the hot tub is fabulous 😁 we'll definitely be back in the summer to enjoy the outside space.
My only minor issue, and it is very minor, is that personally I'd feel happier being able to lock the bedroom door.

Everything that has been created at Skyview was unique and quirky in its own way.
The place was amazing!!

Everything was exceptional. The location, the facilities, the huts that are so nice decorated , George the owner.
About the positive parts of the property probably I could easily fill up a few pages but most of the times I even don't bother to write a review 😊..
Overall the all experience was just perfect.
We hope to get back there...soon
Nothing to complain about except that maybe for some of us the outside loo was kind of a first experience 😁 but even so we could easily spend there weeks.

We had a wonderful time! Beautiful secluded location, the hosts had thought of everything! We will definitely be back.
Nothing, everything was great

We have such a lovely break away at Sky View. All the attention to details were fab and very thought through. Very clean and perfect set up with complete privacy. We could have stayed there for much longer than a couple of nights we did not want to leave! The outdoor toilet and shower are so well done and loved the rainfall shower with instant hot water. I cant praise this place enough and the hosts were such lovely people and have made such a wonderful and beautiful space. Also took the cycle path walk to the beach which was lovely.
Cant fault this place ❤

Location was good for what we needed, liked the bbq and the outdoor area and the huts were very quirky. We met the male host who was very nice and showed us everything we needed to know. We liked the outdoorsy ‘glamping’ feel.
Very dirty fridge. I know it is an outdoorsy stay but I think the huts could have been a lot cleaner including the fridge and dishes. I think what we paid was quite overpriced for what we got.
I also think it should state somewhere in the description that there’s no electric, that there’s a bit of a walk to get from the car to the huts and that the lane leading there is very bumpy and potholey.

We loved everything about the place ! We loved it so much that we cancelled all the trips and just stayed in the huts relaxing. Our neighbours ( the sheep) provided a lot of entertainment, especially Joey Tribianni ( the black lamb, we decided he looks like a Joey and he will break a lot of hearts).
Our batteries are completely recharged and I can sincerely say that I've had the best sleep in years ! The most difficult thing was leaving the place at the end of the holiday.

Very friendly and welcoming hosts. Extra special shout out to the lovely pigs they keep! So sweet and come running to say hi when you walk past.
The beds were the most comfortable beds I have stayed in away from home.
Location was superb; 100% recommend staying here.
Some solar panelled lights to reflect the pathway to the toilet at night would've been useful, particularly if your phone isn't charged and you can't use your torch!

Our experience started really well, with George coming out in the rain to help us find the place. It was dark when we arrived so George led us to the huts and helped us get ourselves set up. The two huts were beautiful, really nicely furnished and thoughtfully presented. The fires in the two huts were lit before we arrived so they were perfectly warm on a cold night. George had also lit the hot tub fire earlier so that had warmed up nicely too, which we got straight in after unpacking. Even with the wind and a little rain the tub was gorgeous, none of us wanted to get out! We were given enough logs to keep the fires going all night, and taking it in turns to hop out for more logs in the fire was actually a lot of fun! When we eventually called it a night we were so pleased with how comfortable and warm the beds were. In the morning after the sun rose we were able to fully appreciate the beautiful views and the charming setting we were in, and a little walk to the car took us over a little wooden bridge and past the animals, which was a lovely way to start the day. We spent the rest of the morning and afternoon exploring the area, helped by recommendations from the owners. George had lit the hot tub again for us for when we got back, and had carried our extra logs down which was so appreciated after a long day. After another amazing night sleep we packed our things up were waved off by the lovely lovely owners and headed off home. The whole experience from start to finish was absolutely flawless and we're already planning on a return trip as soon as we can!
