Property was five-stars, clean and beautiful. Property outside, if you sat on the deck, was extremely loud.Neighbors across the street from the property have roosters that made noise constantly, no fault to the property owner. Otherwise had an awesome time off the property.

My family and I had a lovely stay! It was great being so close to hiking and such beautiful surroundings!

We stayed at the Peaceful Hideaway Treehouse for a summer getaway. It was centrally located for all that we wanted to do (check out the waterfalls in the area, take a day drive to TN, tour several caverns). The house was very well stocked with kitchens staples including several basic cooking spices, which was nice! The welcome basic with coffee and a breakfast voucher was a nice surprise. The accommodations were perfect for our family.

Great rental property, very clean and well furnished and equipped.
Excellent communication from owner and all round a very good experience. Highly recommend if you enjoy sitting on the deck under the heavy forest canopy. The live birds nest, high up in a tree but 6 feet from the deck was an added bonus!

We loved everything about this cozy house except for the absurd roosters. I know this is not there fault it is from the neighborhood. But all morning and evening that’s all we heard echoing thru the trees. When we wanted to sit outside and enjoy peace fullness.

We Loved the cabin. Isolated and away from every day life. We enjoyed our time there.

The house is great, once you enter, you can actually smell the wood of the cabin ! It has everything one needs for a comfortable stay, everything was functioning well. Main room TV had a bunch of streaming services available on it (including Disney Plus package). The hostess was very accomodating (thanks for the coffee !) and nice. There are lots of outdoorsy things to do in this area and we did enjoy hiking with our dog in DeSoto park and Little River Canyon, both of which are just within a few minute drive. If you are bringing your dog - be aware that there might be some stray dogs (we saw two that stopped by but ran away when seeing us) and coyote activity around that area at night, which is normal and expected since there is some livestock and chickens in the area.

This house in the trees makes for a cozy weekend get away with a small family or group of friends. The view of the woods below gave us a glimpse of the local wild life each morning while sitting in front of the fire place. The dining table was big enough for us all to gather and make fun memories. The kitchen had every thing we needed to make meals when we weren’t exploring the local restaurants. And the beds were comfortable making each night a restful experience. We definitely will be staying here again soon!

My wife and our two dogs had an incredible stay at the Treehouse location. Close to several parks, trails and waterfalls. Perfect size place for us and the little extra touches they added made the experience one of our best yet. Definitely an experience for our first Christmas not being at home or with family. It is a must if you want to check out the Fort Payne and Mentone AL area.

Thank you for the renting of this beautiful and clean cabin. This was a peaceful place to stay and let the world keep turning. Our stay was one of great enjoyment and relaxation!
The food we ate from Southern Harvest was great, but the couple that we rented from was much greater! It seems like this day and age, people have lost the kindness they used to show to each other. Misti and David reminded us of people’s kindness years ago.

Misti was an amazing host! She made the process so easy and even was super sweet for my mom’s 80th. My mom (and me, my husband, and son) chilled the entire weekend, taking a quick trip into Fort Payne to wander through the shops. Will be back!

Cabin was everything we hoped and very well appointed. Our GPS undershot the driveway location by about 1/8 mile, which might be useful to know if you arrive after dark - just keep going until you see the street number.

We needed a break from the grind, and wanted somewhere quiet in the woods. We found the Treehouse, and it was perfect. It had everything the three of us needed and we got to bring our dog who goes everywhere with us. Mornings we would fix breakfast and have coffee on the very private deck. During the day we explored around town and visited nearby parks and saw some wonderful sites. Evenings we fixed steaks on the grill and relax watching the campfire in the firepit. Simple check in, and out, and it was very clean and well equipped. We even did a little laundry so we could finish our trip fresh. We would highly recommend it!
