So you want to stay in a remote cabin in the woods, but you also want quick access to dining and shopping? Then this is the place for you! Tucked away in the woods along a narrow winding road, you feel like you're in the wilderness, but everything you could ever need is less than 5 minutes away. Great access to the National Park as well. This property was clean and well maintained. It had everything we needed for late summer getaway! Beds were comfortable, kitchen appliances all worked without any issue, and the family room was just the right size for relaxing after a long day of hiking. Would definitely stay here again.

Wasn’t fond of the spider webs, but overall good.

Nice place in a low traffic area.

We greatly enjoyed our stay. The cabin was charming and well located for our choice of activities-- biking and fishing. It was equipped with everything we needed, including a porch swing on which to enjoy a good book.
4.8
The cabin is situated very conveniently to the amenities of Townsend. It is in a pretty spot in the woods with a little stream behind. There are places outside to sit and enjoy the scenery. It's not fancy but is comfortable inside. We enjoyed our stay.

This cabin was very nice and cozy. Location was convenient and quiet. We enjoyed staying here. My favorite was the porch swing.

I really enjoyed our stay here. James was the most friendly, easy-going manager to talk to. The cabin was great, the only suggestion I’d make is get rid of the garden tub and make that a second bathroom then extend the deck and put in a hot tub. And stock the kitchen just a bit more with silverware and cooking utensils. But the property was clean, quiet & the creek is very nice. We will definitely stay here again.

It was cozy.

Cabin was very nice, as portrayed in online listing. Enjoyed our weekend

Great for our stay. Had just the things we needed. Could use another comfy chair or something for the living room area. For our family of 4 with two teens we were a bit tight when all wanting to sit in the living room area. The place was well stocked and clean for the most part and great for our short stay. The area is beautiful and the road to the cabin is a great TB mountain road.

Easy and relaxing! Highly recommend either cabin.

Everything was very nice. Great location. Just needs another full bath. The extra tub was nice but a full bath would have been better.
4.8
It was very clean, nice little getaway. Not in busy part. Good food near by!

Everything was great at the Cabin. Had all we needed to make it a comfortable stay. Quiet place and inside was very nice. Best part, it was close to Park entrance.
Host always answered any questions we had quickly. Only suggestion was they need to have a shower matt and rugs inside at door entrance.
Would definitely stay there again.

Modern appliances. Comfortable furnishings. Nice location.

This cabin is located very close to the center of Townsend on a one lane, recently paved road. It is small with two bedrooms and one bathroom. One of the bedrooms has the laundry facilities and a large, two person jetted tub.
The space in the cabin was comfortable and we loved the front porch. We had cold weather during our stay and the fireplace was wonderful and more than enough wood was provided for us to use, which was great!!! I do feel that the cabin could have been a little better equipped. Very minimal silverware and additional kitchen utensils was available. Also, hand soap was not provided. However, there is a dishwasher and soap for the dishwasher and washing machine was provided. There is a grocery store and an ACE Hardware store in town where you can get just about anything you need. Overall, we had a great stay and Jimmy was very accommodating! I had an injury and we had to leave a day early and he was very understanding.

Overall it was a great stay. Beds were super clean.

This cabin was everything we needed! It's in a quiet place with a bubbling brook nearby. It's also a perfect driving distance from attractions.

Spent a few days in Townsend with my kids (11 & 19) and my older parents. Great location to hang out, relax, play games. Wish the weather had allowed us to explore more outdoors, but hanging out at the cabin was relaxing and bonding. Would definitely book again!

The cabin was perfect for my family and 2 kids (4, 2). The creek was amazing for them to play in. It's a short drive to GSMNP and Townsend was the quieter town we were hoping for.

We stayed overnight while attending a wedding in Townsend. It was super clean, beds were comfortable, and decor was up to date (rustic lodging) with up to date appliances. Entry system and Google thermostat were easy to operate. Owner James explained everything in the emails perfectly. If you’re a coffee lover, make sure to bring it for a brewer, as only instant was available; no Keurig, but I understand no Keurig to be a common theme in VRBO’s for environmental reasons. Plenty of great coffee shops nearby if you wish to experience them.
Loved the place!

We enjoyed our stay. There were a couple of small issues that the owner corrected immediately. No real problems

Everything was perfect. It was clean, comfortable had the basics for cooking, the kids enjoyed playing in the creek out back and swinging on the swing on the porch. The only downfall was the 1 lane road leading to cabin which was a little scary to drive on at night but we had a great week and would definitely stay here again.

Great stay, great property, awesome responsiveness from the manager.

Very cozy! Felt at home!

This cabin met our needs perfectly. It was right outside the entrance to the smoky mountains national park. It was super clean, with really comfortable beds. We sat out front on the porch at night, listening to the wolves howl under the full moon. Very cool experience!

This was a very cute cabin and perfect for our short trip.

Thanks so much for such an inviting cabin to enjoy. Will definitely come stay again ❤️

Quiet, secluded, yet not too far from grocery stores & restaurants.
4.8
This cabin met all of our expectations. Every little detail was met from cleanliness to plenty of bath, laundry and kitchen needs. We enjoyed the peaceful location away from crowds but we were so close to Cades Cove, Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Jimmy was right there if we needed anything which was a plus. We visit here often and will be returning to this little gem.

This was a beautiful home 15-30 minutes drive to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Sevierville. Plenty of room for 10 people. Thoroughly enjoyed the soothing sounds of the flowing creek and watching the busy muskrat & heron from the two rear porches. Pack t.p. & trash bags if staying more than 2 days or shop when you get here. Publix & Dollar General are 10 min drive. I messed up reservation & was able to extend 1 more day at last minute. Ty.
I would like the owner to reach out to me for the few complaints we have rather than posting here. Suggestion: Leave a broom & dust pan.

Very clean, well located and secluded. Perfect for for a few days at the mountains. Kids had a blast playing in the little water stream in the back of the property and also in the fire pit at night. Just 15 to 30 min away from some great hiking locations at the Smoky Mountains State Park.
Would for sure return and recommend to anyone to enjoy this little cabin.
