This is a very nice house, spacious in a nice quiet area. Large back yard for everyone to enjoy. It has an office space if you need to work. Owner is always available and wants to make sure everything is okay. I was also in contact with him prior to booing and he answered all of my questions and requests.

The home was lovely, all bit it a little tired inside, chipped paint and patched walls waiting to be painted. The outside yard and play areas were really dirty. Didn't look like anything had been cleaned for a long time. We had to hose off all the furniture, trampoline, slide and kids play area before we allowed the kids to play. The interior of the home was "surface" clean but certainly could benefit from a deep clean, kitchen cabinets inside and out, sticky and crumbs, baseboards, doors and frames were dirty etc. The kitchen would benefit from a few more conveniences as there is minimal silver ware and utensils. I would strongly recommend changing the auto schedule for the robot floor cleaner in the master bedroom downstairs - it went on and scared us at 3.30am!!! We had a fantastic few days but certainly would recommend a thorough cleaning before new visitors arrive as having to clean things before you start enjoying your break isn't really the best way to commence a family celebration.

The house was in decent neighborhood and it was quiet. We found the pool & hot-tub to be the highlights of the house. We really enjoyed the pool in the evenings when lights & waterfalls would be on. It was easy to communicate with the property owner and he was quick to respond to our requests. Overall, I felt the cleanliness of the house was average. Also, it was a little odd having cameras all over the property (that was disclosed before we visited) as my family felt like they were being watched a bit. The only other feedback would be to provide more dishes, silver ware, etc. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, thanks.

Our group had a fun-family stay at this property. It was very well kept up and clean upon checking in. We very much enjoyed the pool, as the summers get pretty hot near this area. The yard/pool was clean and operating perfectly, all descriptions that are in the listing are accurate. The owner/property manager was very attentive and helped right away when we had questions. It is very close to shopping centers (Walmart) which made groceries and such easily available. Nice, friendly neighborhood and our group was pleased to spend our visit to Sequoia National Park at such a nice/fun property. Thanks Fred for hosting us! Our stay at the Eagles Nest will always be remembered!

Fred thank you for sharing your delightful home with us! My 5 children and I absolutely loved the pool and patio area. You had towels for swimming all stocked, which was great. Everyone slept well & the beds were all really comfortable. The Walmart market was SO convenient, right around the corner.
The only things I can think of for constructive feedback were: there were no hand towels in the kitchen (didn't want to bother the staff, so just used one from a bathroom to dry hands), the fan unit in the master bedroom makes a really loud clunking noise (I think something is broken with it, we just left it off), and I wonder if the pool vacuum isn't working great (was a little cloudy with debris on the bottom). These were all minimal things, but thought the feedback may make future guests stays even better.
Thank you!!!

Our host was very rude from the get go. He would not leave the hot tub on. He thought turning it on & off was what everyone does, in which is not correct. That has never been the case at any rental we have stayed at. We rent several vacation home a year & they all have hot tubs & they are hot the entire time. We have to turn on the jet at other places, but they are always hot. He told me we were to difficult because we had to keep asking him to turn it on. The home was very dusty & cobwebs everywhere. The out side grounds were very dirty as well. Many of the dishes had to be washed before used. Worse experience we have ever had. He told me to not use VRBO in the future. He called the poly 2 time because we did not park correctly. The office was very apologetic because of the pettiness. Sad, we were there for our nephews wedding. A beautiful experience the was made very stressful.

This was my first VRBO rental. The house was clean and spacious. We rented during the Christmas holiday and we were able to invite family over to celebrate. The garage fit 2 cars and the driveway an additional 3. The backyard has a play area for children. Although it was too cold to use the pool, the jacuzzi was available and heated. The upstairs bathroom needed a plunger after the second use but was not a problem the rest of the stay. 👍 There was a plenty of sleeping areas. There is a Walmart Neighborhood market walking distance and a Starbucks a close drive away. We would definitely rent again.

Could have rented any house I wanted but chose this property for pool, hot tub and available bed space. Upon arrival this house over 80degrees. The pool was green and unusable and the hot tub was cold. The rules to leave without financial damage seemed excessive. Its never been a requirement I clean the property when I paid a cleaning fee and and extra human fee even though we arrived with four adults and one child under three. This owner got away making an above average fee while delivery a poor product.
Since he already has my money and we got the poor experience the only recourse I have is to warn others about the lack of services to be expected

This was a great stay for our family and friends. We visited Sequoia National Park in the morning and spent time as a family in this home in the evenings. The communication and response time were amazing and the team behind this property was great!

Nice! This house is 2 floors. Master Bedroom is in first floor with king size bed, tv and a small bed as well. There’s an office with a computer. Upstairs there’s 2 bedrooms with queen beds. There’s also bunk beds right outside one of the rooms. This is not an actual room but it is a very spacious area. The pool is a very nice size with water and light features. The yard has enough room to play, BBQ and do any other activity.

Great staycation home - Property Mgmt Company Needs Improvement
This is a gorgeous home w/ a beautiful backyard & pool. The home owner, Fred, was very pleasant & accommodating. Unfortunately, the property mgmt company was lacking in quality & service.
PROs: The house is located in a quiet & beautiful cul de sac. Spacious interior w/ plenty of room for 4 adults & 4 kids. The bedrooms & bathrooms were clean. Location is convenient: Walking distance to a Walmart market and a quick drive to many grocery stores and restaurants. 8 min drive to Adventure Park. We stayed here for 4th of July weekend & were pleasantly surprised with fireworks show from the driveway. The bathrooms have dispensers that include shampoo, conditioner, & body wash. All the appliances in the house worked great. Plenty of bath towels & pool towels. Extra blankets are available in the linen closet. The kids enjoyed the bunkbed. The swimming pool was used everyday! It was clean and although it's not heated, the weather was hot enough to warm the pool to a cool, yet comfortable temperature. At night, the pool lights up and the backyard also has string lights.
CONs: The BBQ grill was not in usable condition. It had not been cleaned before we arrived & the valve connecting the butane to the grill had a leak. Light switches in the house aren't labeled correctly. The frying pans were dirty, we had to scrub them before use. Some of the towels were falling apart with holes in them. The bathroom dispensers weren't refilled (i.e. master bathroom missing conditioner, guest bathroom missing bodywash). The 2 home managers listed in the Welcome Packet were unresponsive. The first contact (Destinee) had a full vmail box. The second contact (Miracle) I left a voicemail and never got a call back. The play structure outside is rundown and not safe for kids. The posting did say that the pirate cove is "play at your own risk", but I feel if it's unsafe, it should be torn down or fixed for guests to use safely. The trampoline safety net was torn, so only 1 person could safely jump at a time. Dirty clothes were left in laundry room. Coffee maker was dirty. Hot tub wasn't working our final night there and the kids were super disappointed because we promised they could swim at night.
I relayed all of this to Fred and he was sincerely apologetic for the inconveniences. He ended up giving us a credit to make up for it.
We would still return because overall the house was nice and Fred genuinely felt bad that the hired help didn't do a good job.

Nice place
Overall good stay, four stars because there isn't 2 queens and a sleep sofa, it's a full bed in one room, queen in the other and oversized loveseat in master. 4th "bedroom" is a bonus room with full size futon and no door, just partition. We enjoyed the pool area and patio.

The house was beautiful, host was awesome. Would have like more control over the pool temp and jacuzzi. Need remote control. Also need more privacy. Overall it was good. Thanks!
