This house was amazing!! Right on the river with plenty of room. Very clean & well stocked kitchen which is much appreciated. It was so quiet & nice to sit by the fire or in the hot tub & watch the birds, deer, & the river. Lots of fun games to play as well & close to the village & other fun hiking & caves & such.

We stayed over a long holiday weekend and could not have been more impressed with the amount of activities in and outside the home. We loved the beautiful river view and large patio area and the kids loved the multiple play spaces upstairs, in the garage and out back!

This house has perfect room for two families to spread out. Game room, massage chairs, sauna, hot tub, flat yard, riverfront, feels like the list can go on and on. Kids loved cruising the neighborhood on the bike and playing ping pong. We had such a nice stay. Loved everything!!!!!

House was beautiful, plenty of room for 6 adults and 6 kids. Enjoyed the outdoor space, outdoor games and fishing in the backyard. Issues with the property management with items not being in the house, with 12 people and a week long stay the cleaning service should have thought about leaving extra garbage bags, dishwasher detergent, paper towels, toilet paper, fill up propane tanks for bbq and fire pit. And take out the garbage from previous guests. When you pay that much in fees I think they should pay a little more attention.

The perfect family getaway home! Celebrated our dads 50th birthday and it was perfect. Family friendly for sure! Had some issues with hot tub draining, otherwise it was perfect.

This house was perfect! It is beautifully decorated, well-stocked, comfortable, thoughtfully laid out, and there is practically another living area outside. The game room upstairs provided hours of entertainment - with pool, shuffleboard, darts, and a game system. We used the big tv with the karaoke app and microphones we brought with us, and the massage chairs were rarely unoccupied. AND my partner and I won the ping pong tournament in the garage! The large covered deck has a hot tub and sauna, and cozy gathering areas around a both a table and a gas fire pit - with lots and lots of chairs. There are two large space heaters but the negative temperatures kept us from spending as much “deck” time as we would have liked The river flows at the back edge of the property and we are excited to possibly stay again in the summertime.

The scenery is just beautiful!

This was such an amazing find for us.
We traveled from Portland 4 hours and we were 4 families with 3 kids and a small dog. We did not know what we were driving to... But let me break it down to Pros and Cons for you.
Pros-
*The house was impeccable! We were nicely surprised everything was so clean and organized and expensive. The bed sheets were so soft and clean.
The beds were so comfortable. The listing absolutely matches the "luxury" statement!
The towels were very clean!
The Kitchen had EVERYTHING! We brought most of our gear because we didn't know if the listing would match the reality but it exceeded our expectations! And the great thing was, the house was not decorated or filled with furniture or gear the owners no longer were using. Everything matched and everything was a set. You can tell it was decked out for this house and with the quality too. So we were very careful and mindful living and taking care of the house. It did feel like a luxurious stay.
*The house was very carefully and tastefully decorated. It was like coming to our get-away house we bought!
The kids had a blast upstairs in the game room, we didn't hear or see them before and after meals Everyone was happy. They slept in the loft with 3 big beds which they LOVED! It was like a picture out of a fairytale book, it was very cozy and modern.
My biggest reason for booking this place was the outdoor seating area. Unfortunately, we didn't get to enjoy the morning breakfasts outside or meals and chit-chats there because of the weather but it is absolutely a Major Highlight.
* They did have heaters which helped but not so much.
*The river ran right in front of us...The dog had a place to run around and enjoy the stay so did all of us. We had a deer family walk by our backyard which was an amazing sight to watch..
Overall, If you want a peaceful getaway and have fun, bbq, eat, laugh...This is the place. Great for meditation, yoga, playing music ( although we were a bit reluctant to do it outside, because of an earlier comment I read here about the neighbors, but we did not have anyone come over.)
You can take your drink, sit outside and sit there for ours looking at the river flow, the trees, animals...
CONS-
*If your kids can't sleep through loud noise, laughing, music, TV etc then having an open loft might be tricky. You might have to shuffle people around. ours slept through everything so we were lucky.
* If you wanted to use the outside area after 8pm that can be a problem because the houses are close to each other, and the nature might amplify the sounds. So unless you invite the neighbors over too, that might be a buzz killer. Especially if you are a loud passionate bunch...
Overall we had a really great time, all 11 of us were happy! Thank you for taking care of the house and keeping it in pristine condition!
I did not have to talk to anyone about the house, we had NO problems and all the instructions were ready for us when we arrived at the house. But if I needed to reach someone I had a name and a contact number and she was very responsive.

The house itself is absolutely amazing and can sleep 7 adult couples more than comfortably. It's also right on the river and would be amazing to fish or paddleboard (pending thats allowed there?) or even set up a hammock on the many trees behind the property.
I would be wary if you are planning any kind of celebration that might end up outdoors in the evening. The weather was so nice after a birthday dinner on Saturday that we decided to play a card game at the patio table for an hour, fully aware and respectful of the 9pm quiet hours. The neighbors, however, feel that 8pm is a more appropriate time on the weekend so be aware of this as they will actively enforce it. Because this property is on the water sound amplifies and carries more than it would elsewhere, so just note that if you are considering this for outdoor warmer weather gatherings. Inside the house is still plenty quiet and there's more than enough gathering space for board/card/puzzle games.
Lastly I just want to mention the 4-person surrey bike was one of the best surprises and we had so much fun pedaling around to meet all the neighborhood dogs.

Lovely home with all the conveniences.
This was a very spacious home with a layout that was conducive to big gatherings but also offered individual privacy. Very well done with all the modern conveniences.

Beautiful Location by the River
Our family enjoyed our stay at this property. The living room opens to a wonderful outdoor area, right on the Deschutes River. Hot tub and Sauna were perfect for nights outdoors after snowboarding nearby at Mt. Bachelor. I watched a family of ducks on the river every day. The nearby Sunriver Villiage had many shops and restaurants and a nice supermarket is located just minutes away from this home. The village also had ice skating! The kids loved thier stay at this property. Making breakfast together as a family every morning. The loft is fun for them to sleep in, the game room and all the nearby acivities make this home an annual return-to for our family. No stress or restrictions like a large hotel. Looking forward to seeing this area in the summer too!

Amazing private, luxury home
The home is pure luxury and perfect for our family getaway for New Years. The owners have provided all of the amenities for a great time including a well stocked, gourmet kitchen, hot tub, sauna, gas grill, outdoor heating lamps and so much more. Our kids loved the great room upstairs with shuffleboard, pool table, darts and a home theater. The home is huge and accommodates many people comfortably (there are six queen sized beds and a king). Sitting by the fireplace and looking out at the large backyard with the geese and ducks on the Deschutes River beyond is mesmerizing. This property is a must if you have a larger group looking to escape to a tranquil luxury property.
