We loved absolutely everything about this home- the decor, the cookbooks, the cozy beds- and most of all- the view! We had so much fun hunting around the yard for crystals to show our kids and it was just so perfect and peaceful. Such a beautiful place to stay and relax ❤️

The house was great for a ski weekend, plenty of space, good layout and a stocked kitchen. However, the property management Vacasa was horrible. We got 1.5 ft of snow from Friday to Saturday and they didn’t come and plow the private street until 1pm on Saturday. We had a 4 wheel drive jeep and were still stuck on our road unable to use our prepaid ski lift tickets and rentals. Every other road around us was plowed and clear. I reached out to vacasa four times and was never given a clear response, help, or update. We rented this place to ski and although the ski conditions were amazing and we had paid to ski, we were unable to get to the mountain and lost money.

With the exception of a beautiful view, close proximity to the ski slopes and a fenced in yard for the four legged member of our family this home was quite the disappointment compared to other homes that I have rented in the Hawk Mountain community.

We are not very happy with the stay we found two mice in the kitchen a dead one on the first day when we arrived and then alive on the last day again in the kitchen sink.. We were planning to cook at the house but this grossed us out we couldn't even cook and afterward I been trying to send message to the number who was messaging regarding property but looks like it no longer works.. property is beautiful but not happy with service at all and it was really gross to see those mice in the house

Great house! Plenty of room for everyone. Beds were comfortable. Great water pressure. Super clean! Fenced in yard for the dog. Parking for 3 cars. Nice fireplace outside - and inside. Plenty of wood. Kitchen had everything we needed. Unbelievable views! Highly recommend. Lots of stairs to access the house, so if that’s not your thing it might be a problem. Steep access road, definitely want a good vehicle to drive to the house. We really enjoyed this rental and will rent again.

The house is very nice and clean. View is great from the master bedroom and living area. The area is great for families - we drove up Okemo (via the mountain road) and enjoyed great hikes on the top, including views from the Fire Tower and beer/snack at the lodge with gorgeous views from the top. Camp Plymouth state park is a nice place on a hot day. Very clean water and facilities, kayaks and paddle boards for rent. And Long Trail brewery not far, it was on our way and nice place to stop for some food/drinks in an outdoor area.

The location of this home was wonderful; we enjoyed the beautiful views and quiet hush of the forest. A few amenities require repair and impacted our experience: the dishwasher does not operate correctly (wheels were missing on the bottom rack, preventing the dishwasher spray from spinning and cleaning); the sliding screen door (for the patio doors leading to the deck from the dining room) is jammed and cannot be closed, making it difficult to enjoy the view and the mountain air indoors without some bugs; the gas grill was difficult to use and needs some attention. But all in all, our family enjoyed the location and we had a wonderful time together.

Great house
Great house! Only complaint was outdoor stairs were treacherous (recognizing it’s January in Vermont). Place needs salt and shovels outside. That aside everything was as advertised, would book again
