Just a short drive from downtown Port Aransas and steps from the shore, this beautiful five-bedroom is the perfect place to treat family and friends to an unforgettable getaway to the Texas Gulf Coast. When everybody is ready to hit the beach, on-site access will have you touching sand in no time. Don't forget to grab the beach chairs provided! An outdoor shower adds convenience during your stay.
A bright, open-concept main floor layout greets guests inside with recent updates and elegant, high-end décor. For downtime during the day or family movies in the evening, the plush living room sectional and huge, wall-mounted smart TV are ready to provide comfort and entertainment. An expansive dining table divides the living room and kitchen. With place settings for 12, the entire household can enjoy group and family-style meals together. Teeming with attractive finishes and updates appliances, the impressive, full-size kitchen is the envy of most homes. Chefs in the group will find all the cookware, counter space, and utensils needed to prepare fabulous home meals. No need to spend your vacation on cleanup - the dishwasher can take care of that. A sliding, barn-style door opens up to the bonus bunk room. A full bathroom, and two additional guest suites are down the hall. This house was perfect for family and extended family to all stay under one roof for a weekend celebration for my daughter. The house has a beautiful coastal decor with plenty of room and rooms! It was nice to be able to all be together, but also have privacy when needed in the very spacious rooms. Highly recommend!

This home has everything you could possibly need, just like home. The 1st floor has a fully stocked kitchen, large dining table, and comfortable living room. We loved the sofa. Our group of 15 had enough space to cook and eat together. The house comes with a washer and dryer. En suite bathrooms were a great surprise. House is spacious, clean, and in a great location. We already rebooked. Thanks, Mila’s Retreat!

Our stay at Mila’s Retreat was very relaxing and enjoyable! They provided every amenity you could think of and the home was extremely clean! The decor of the house was modern and tasteful but also felt cozy and comfortable. We loved staying here and will definitely book again. The house accommodated our large party and was the perfect distance to the beach. The children in our group absolutely loved the bunk bed room and the host was extremely responsive. Thanks Mila’s Retreat for a memorable vacation.

Mila’s was perfect from check-in to checkout. Ample space and great to host. We booked a last minute getaway and it was the best. We usually do the weekends in Port A but we found our new gem. Getting away during the week was perfect because we didn’t have to fight the weekend crowd. We had the pool to ourselves at times. We had such an amazing time. We’re already planning our next trip before summer ends.

Wonderful stay! Beds are comfortable. The 4 king beds is one of the main reasons we chose this house and it worked out perfectly. Everyone had their own private room but still had the luxury of being together in the living room & dining room. We enjoyed grilling and the courtyard set up. Can’t wait to go back! House and resort are beautiful!

Beautiful home with everything you need. Floor plan is perfect! This house is huge! Kitchen and living area on the first floor. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. There is an outdoor courtyard with an outdoor shower. We all enjoyed many evenings in the courtyard and took advantage of the bar b q pit. The spring time weather is just beautiful in Port Aransas. We didn’t have to leave the property. Happy we found Mila’s Retreat! Thanks for the hospitality and we will definitely return!

Everything was perfect! We walked in knowing that there were 5 bedrooms and that each one had its own bathroom for privacy. What we were amazed by was the ample space that this house offers! Each room offers your own space and you do not feel confined. At night, we comfortably retired to our own suite. This is something that is seldomly offered here in PortA.❤️ Gorgeous house!

I found Mila’s Retreat on Instagram @milasretreat when I decided to book a last minute trip and it was just what we needed! It has been a chaotic schedule with a month into school year along with volleyball practices/games. We felt that island energy the moment we walked in! The house was immaculate and welcoming. It truly was the perfect family getaway. The beds were more than comfortable and we slept amazing. We felt like each room was its own suite. The amenities from the Black marlin restaurant to the oasis pool are superb. Great food and drinks at both places. We also drove the beach cart to get our Starbucks coffee Saturday and Sunday morning which is located on property. The House is a perfect distance to town and the beach.

Such a great house - much larger than the pictures portray and so beautiful! The owners have spared no expense to make this a fabulous vacation home and we so enjoyed it! The bedrooms and bathrooms are large - the bunkroom was also spacious. Everything was spotless and the neighborhood and amenities are so good!! We will definitely be back.

Mila’s Retreat did not disappoint and It’s more amazing in person! Where do I start?!The website is not up to date with some décor/furniture and the new touches definitely gave us that resort vibe. We were pleasantly caught off guard as we walked in with the décor and welcoming gifts! It was 5 days of bliss. I would wake up with the natural light and start the morning with a jog. We then gathered up the family for breakfast. The kitchen area/house has so much space that we did not have to squeeze by or get in the way of each other as we cooked some eggs and biscuits. All hands were on deck. The kitchen offered everything that we needed. The table fit all 14 of us and that’s a big win because we love to break bread together. Not only did we make some great memories in the kitchen with some dishes (And a burnt one) but we made them on the beach as-well. We hit the beach for a few hours a day and rented chairs and umbrellas. We were in awe with the new oasis pool and took full advantage of the amenities that is served. Swim up bar and kitchen is provided for orders. Every room had its own shower and restroom to use when we got back from our outing. It was great to use the water softener after all the chlorine and sunscreen. My family offers a full hearted thank you for giving us a warm welcome and a place to call home! We definitely recommend and will be back.

Mila's Retreat, is amazing! This beautiful house was perfect for our large family. The kitchen living room open concept kept our family together and entertained. The kitchen is spacious and has everything you need to cook. Large dinning table was a plus for us as we enjoy eating together as a family. Bedrooms are spacious and very clean. We loved that each bedroom has their own private bathroom. Whoever decorated this place did an amazing job. The simple decor reminds you that you're on vacation yet makes you feel right at home. Speaking of vacation, Mila's Retreat is on a pretty cool resort. There are two large pools, golf course, and a restaurant. The beach is in walking distance. The kiddos enjoyed spending the day at the beach, then the evening at the pool. After a long day at the beach, it was pretty awesome returning to Mila's Retreat for some relaxation...........If you are looking to take a trip to Port Aransas, Mila's Retreat is definitely the place to stay. We highly recommend it.

This gorgeous beach home is incredible. The owners were a pleasure to desl with, no problems, easy instructions... hassel free vacation. Not only has it been exquisitely decorated, but it is well equipped, extremely clean, comfortable, cozy and perfect for just a beach vacation. My sister's family and ours fit peefectly! Comfortable for our seversl children, teens and for the adults! We could come back to clean up and get cozy after a sunfilled beach day or a day of fishing. Loved the restaurant in the resort, the pool and that it was close to many amenities. We even attended mass near by on Sunday. Thank you for sharing your home with us! We for sure recommeng it and will be renting it again!

We truly enjoyed this beautiful beach house. Our family celebrated the holidays here and this home is perfect. Kitchen is fabulous with new pots and pans. We took turns cooking meals and loved that the dining table fit all 12 of us. My elderly parents appreciated the kitchen being on the first floor along with a king master bedroom. House was clean and comfortable. Bonus, Palmilla has a heated pool. Thank you for having us.

Perfect offseason weekend getaway at Mila's Retreat. House is as advertised in pictures and the space of the home is incredible in person. It's cozy and clean. Beds are comfortable. We enjoyed hot chocolate under the stars in the courtyard. Great set up. We love Port A and it was nice to enjoy the town without the summer crowd. Restaurants were easy to get into.

Let me start off by saying that I usually don't leave reviews, unless a place really leaves a huge impression. My family and I usually go to Port Aransas about 2-3 times a year. We have stayed at Palmilla and other places around town. This is our 2nd time staying at Mila's Retreat and we have found our home away from home. There are a few things that I do not like to give up when I leave my house. I don't like to give up size and I don't like to give up my water softener. Mila's Retreat now has both. The water softener did not exist when we stayed back in May but we rebooked because of the size of the home. 5 spacious bedrooms (2 king beds is a plus) and 5 1/2 baths. Every room has a shower and restroom. We don't have to wait for a shower to become available while our family washes up and gets ready. I was amazed to see and feel the soft water the second time we stayed. Water is usually hard in Port Aransas. As silly as it sounds, a nice "soft water" shower feels great to be able to wash off sunblock/chlorine after a long day at the beach and the pool. Thank you for the hospitality and we will be back again.

Wow, wow, wow!
This was our first family visit to Port A and we couldn't have chosen a better place to stay! Mila's retreat was super clean, spacious, fully stocked, and peaceful! The kids ran around and had a blast. We rented a golf cart and went on to the beach and down the street to the candy store. The pool was amazing too! We look forward to returning!

We absolutely loved staying at Mila's Retreat. It's a beautiful and extremely spacious home. It was very clean and I was pleasantly surprised that they have Dyson air purifiers. The location is great! We spent the afternoons at the beach and appreciated that Palmilla offers set up for beach chairs and umbrellas. During the evenings we would take turns cooking and we enjoyed their kitchen. The floor plan is perfect and the courtyard is inviting! We rented a golf cart for our stay and most nights we would take it out to the beach. We all loved sitting by the fire, making s'mores, and listening to the waves. It was majestic. After a long day it was nice to crawl into a comfortable bed and watch movies. We all slept wonderful. We stayed 5 days and we all agreed that we wanted to stay longer. We will and can't wait to go back.

The check-in process was very easy and went without a single hitch.
The property is decently positioned, as it's far enough away to be more chilled than the town center, and only minutes away from it in a car.
The place is beautifully furnished and everyone had a enough room to relax and regroup across the week we were there.
If you have a big family and want to cart a lot of stuff to the beach, I'd suggest purchasing a beach parking pass as soon as you get there. It's only $12 and lasts a year. The beach is only short walk away, but it can be a pain with a lot of gear in-tow.
This is an odd one, but I wished the property had full length mirrors in each of the two main rooms.
The pool is very close to this house, so the kids and family took full advantage of relaxing there.
Overall, it was a great stay in a nice house in a good location.
Highly recommended.

Beautiful and clean home in Palmilla. The location is perfect. Easy access to the pool and the beach. Beds are so comfortable. Air purifiers are a plus! The kitchen is stocked with every cooking essential. We loved Mila's Retreat and can't wait to book again.

Location was great, but be ready for some nearby construction as Palmilla is still being developed. We enjoyed the community pool and access to the beach. Floors were filthy when we checked in, and everyone's soles immediately turned black. We also had an ant issue in the kitchen as soon as we unloaded the food.
Communication with Vacasa was a bit bizarre. I emailed them weeks before with questions via VRBO, and did not receive a response to my email. After check in, the response times varied, and while they were eager to confirm they were working on fixing the ant issue, and said they *may* send someone to treat it, they were not able to confirm if anyone actually did enter the house to deal with the ants while we were at the beach. Apparently that a different team than whoever texts you back. We'll never know I guess???
Upon returning home I could not locate the charger for my baby's monitor and contacted Vacasa to ask if it was left behind. They said that I would be charged a fee for them to look for the item, whether or not is it found. No budging on this, and I was met with a cold "well, this is our policy".
Property overall is great. Property management leaves a lot to be desired.

This place is amazing. So much room. The kitchen is well stocked. Well thought of details like art, gas stove open concept. We used the bbq grill almost everyday. We especially appreciated the soft water since we know this area has terrible water. It has a reverse osmosis for drinking water as well so we just filled our bottles. They set up umbrellas and beach chairs. Best beach experience for sure
