We arrived quite late (20.45) and the receptionist arranged for us to have dinner in the restaurant which we appreciated very much.
The rooms are not well insulated and we heard every word and movement of our neighbors which were very loud. We also smelled smoke coming into the room, which was probably from the terrace just below our window. We had a tiring day of traveling and just wanted to get some rest. When we wanted to call the reception to ask if there was another room available, the telephone wasn't working so we had to go downstairs. There was no other room available so we had to stay. The breakfast was very poor. When we arrived at 9am there were no plates, cups, glasses, juice, cutlery and there was only a very little choice of food. .

Nothing.
The room smelt dirty or damp, like urine. The curtain was hanging off the rail, the bathroom was disgusting. The young lady receptionist was unhelpful and miserable, also appeared to speak or understand any English. I tried my best French.

This is a great hotel for the price. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Great position for breaking a drive south to Spain. Pau is a beautiful city as well
Our room was in need of an update. Very tired furniture. Also we weren't aware that the restaurant was closed at the weekend. It should have been mentioned on the booking.

The (One) member of staff could not have been more helpful
The outside steps need to be updated.... not appealing at all. It appeared to be on a small industrial estate.
The whole Exterior and Interior of the hotel was very run down and needs updating all round. The room itself, well I did not wish to get in the bed (but hubby was in bed snoring away and seemed alright) so, finally gave in and got in. The bathroom..... Hubby struggled to get in bath to have a shower (slightly unsteady on his feet, no grab rails and could not turn on shower until in the bath... the screen had really bad silicone on the bottom, I could have done a better/cleaner/nicer job of that myself. THE shower head, was broken at the top, so leaked, but worked to have a rinse down. Internet was rubbish for laptop. Could not use my firestick to enable to watch English TV.... so all in all not a very good experience and will not be returning. To be fair.... I could have asked the one member of staff if there was a better room, but could not be bothered as, the rest of the hotel was old, I thought there would not be much chance of a better room.... (but there could have been, who knows)..... and very noisy.... we were right next to lift and thats all you could hear during our stay....

Cheap and almost cheerful. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The evening meal was enormous and very well cooked, a lovely chicken dish. The hotel was on our route home to Spain, so very easy.
The hotel is in much need of proffesional renovations rather than the apparent DIY work which is being done to the place, which only serves to make it worse. We had a kettle in the room but no cups, tea, coffee or milk, strange. Light bulbs needing changing and no USB points.

Comfortable beds, friendly and nice breakfast
There was a wall light in room that needed glass shade replacing. The photos also showed a nice display of coffee and tea making facilities in the room but there was only a kettle and two plastic cups.

it was cheap and did what i wanted which was stp me from sleeping in the car for a night. It wasn't loud but it's defiantly a no frills experience
everything was average, nothing was terrible but if certainly wasn't as good as other other budget hotels I've stayed in

Very tired and worn out hotel room, dusty, and the bath towels had a strange smell. Breakfast was also too expensive for what you get. No staff on the breakfast room, so guests were walking around without face masks.
