About this house rental
The Carefree Flamingo is bright and cheerful, with colorful Florida décor. The bedrooms, on either side of the living area, provide privacy and comfortable space for two to four people. A screened lanai houses a heated pool and several pool-side dining/seating areas for relaxing and enjoying meals/cocktails. There is a gas grill located on the brick patio next to the lanai. The house is beautifully landscaped and has a private, fenced back yard. The recently renovated kitchen shares a half wall with the "Florida Room," making it easy to socialize with other guests. There are numerous nearby restaurants, beaches, stores, and amazing adventures just waiting for you!

This is a very clean and well-kept home. The owners are kind, responsive and very close by. The kitchen is new and very well equipped. The pool was warm and relaxing. We enjoyed having two sitting areas as well as the lanai. Everthing was lovely and we would gladly return if available.

The Carefree Flamingo was a great start to our winter getaway . The pool was lovely, although the weather did not cooperate (can only blame this on Mother Nature!). The beachy decor was very cute--nothing fancy, but everything was immaculate! Appliances appeared to be new; if they were not, they were certainly maintained beautifully. Our only issue in the 3 weeks we stayed here was a showing of a few small ants. Upon contacting Linda, she immediately showed up with ant traps. This was a minor issue but we were very impressed with the quick response and availability of Linda and Hank, who apparently live right in the area. There was nothing in disrepair. We would definitely recommend The Carefree Flamingo as pride of ownership was evident.

What a wonderful and clean home! Owners were so kind and even left us a gift! Plenty of room for 2 couples and private as well. The pool was spotless and a nice area for sitting outside and playing cards. Enough room for my kids and their spouses to visit and relax with us.
Hope to be able to stay again.

A beautiful place to stay, wonderful owners, I can’t say enough about our vacation. The beach was a 10 minute bike ride on the bikes provided to us , the weather was fantastic for the whole month, the pool was great and well used by us. Linda couldn’t have been any nicer to us . The house was perfect. I recommend that anyone thinking of going to Bonita, this is a great place to stay.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at The Carefree Flamingo. Hank and Linda were very welcoming and helpful. The house was spotless and well equipped. We can’t say enough about the beautiful and very private heated pool. We spent hours floating on rafts and soaking up the always present sun. The location is ideal, we could walk to restaurants and the beach. The grocery store is a short 4 minute drive away and there is shopping close by. We highly recommend The Carefree Flamingo. The property is everything describe in the listing and then some (e.g. Property owners went of the their way to stock the refrigerator since we were arriving on a holiday, stopped by to ensure we had everything we needed for our stay, etc.).
So, with everything provided - we naturally could just focus on relaxing in the pool and take occasional treks to the beach (either by car or by the provided bikes).
Truly, an extraordinary stay.

We couldn't have asked for a more perfect vacation. The house was beautiful inside and out. The hosts were very accomodating and so easy to talk with. They thought of every little detail to make our vacation perfect from the totally stocked updated kitchen to the beach towels rolled up in a basket just waiting for us to use them. The pool was so refreshing and totally private. The beaches and restaurants were minutes away. Bikes were provided to ride through the quite neighborhood. All beach equipment was also provided. The house was immaculate and very confrontable. If I could have, I would give this house a rating of 10! A perfect house, a perfect vacation!

Our stay was so comfortable and the home was perfect for us. The inside and outside of the home is well cared for. We were blessed to find such a great home in the Bonita Springs area to enjoy our vacation.

AMAZING!
What a wonderful week vacation. The Carefree Flamingo was the perfect place to stay. The house itself was well put together with everything that we could possibly need. The beautiful screened in patio and pool was where we spent our free time. There is a large kitchen (and outdoor grill) perfect for all of our seafood cooking needs. Make sure to look up Trico Shrimp Company! The location of the house is perfect - just a short distance to Bonita and Barefoot Beaches and all of your shopping and dining needs. We had an amazing dinner at Cooper’s Hawk Winery and Restaurant, just a 10 minute drive away. And in a good neighborhood with very pleasant neighbors. Linda and Hank are wonderful hosts, quick to respond to my questions and had some great recommendations on activities in the area. Thank you so much for making our vacation so memorable!

We had a wonderful stay at our Bonita Springs VRBO. The home was a quaint, homey place with a lovely pool. It was centrally located not only near the beach but also shopping and restaurants. Our sincere thanks to Linda and Hank, our hosts.

We enjoyed our stay at this property so much, it was sad when we had to leave. The pool is very private, and we enjoyed having the luxury of going for a swim whenever we wanted or just lounging in the sun. The recently renovated kitchen is well stocked, and we had no problem cooking for ourselves when we wanted to. Also, there is plenty of cabinet space for your own groceries. The Florida Room was cozy with several seating options, and we loved that it was open to the kitchen. The bedrooms are each a nice size with large closets and drawers to unpack into. The master bath has a great walk-in shower and I appreciated the lighted makeup mirror! We were happy to have the second bathroom with tub and shower! We really enjoyed the 2 adult bikes and spent some time strolling around the nearby neighborhoods. It's also an easy pedal to the beach which you will appreciate during peak times as it is not easy to find parking spots. Bonita Beach Road is crazy busy during peak hours but there are two easy outs so we had no problem taking left turns. You do hear traffic noise when outside at the pool etc. but we were having so much fun it didn't matter. Inside the house is perfectly quiet. Chairs, an umbrella (with sand grabber) and sand toys are provided, as well has several beach towels and cooler bag. Linda and Hank were very accommodating and very easy to work with. We had no issues during our stay at all. We hope to be back again sometime soon!

Bonita Shores in early February
We had a great experience at this marvelous property in a great neighborhood, clean, well-kept, nicely furnished in an area where restaurants were in walking distance. Enjoyed the pool, bikes, walks on the beach, shelling and beaches. All we needed for our stay was nearby. Our hosts were very attentive. We plan to return!

Great location, beautiful home. A short distance to Bonita Beach & Barefoot beach. Plenty of good eats close by. Try Grandpa's pizza on Old 41, worth it!
