The property is not well maintained at all. House had finger nail clippings on bathroom counter, dirty fridge, cracked tv, and no A.c
It was a constant temperature of 78degrees inside the home. The a.c units that were provided were not sealed properly which allowed bugs(mainly mosquitoes to come in throughout our stay. It was horrible. If they get the A. C fixed and a better housekeeper it would have been a much more enjoyable stay.

This is our 3rd stay at this property and we still enjoy it. The indoor space is great, and we love sitting on the dock looking for dolphins.
A couple of things that happened during our stay served to confirm the fact that the host is willing to go above and beyond to accommodate guests. First, on our 2nd night the AC seemed to fail. Within 30 minutes of our notifying the host, the maintenance person was here to attempt to fix the problem (this was 10:00 at night). When it became apparent that the problem couldn’t be immediately fixed, we were provided with a portable AC unit for the bedroom assuring us a comfortable night. The AC was fixed by the time we returned from the beach the following day.
And when my wife awoke sick on the morning we were to check out, the host rearranged the cleaning schedule so we could stay later while we waited to get into our hotel room.
Needless to say, we’re looking forward to returning next summer.

Loved our stay so much, we extended two days. Beds were firm but comfortable. Master bath is huge with shower and claw bathtub. Plenty of storage for all you bring with you. Kitchen is very nice. Best of all was sitting on back deck, relaxing, and watching dolphin, smooth water and lights of downtown historic Beaufort. We used the dock daily to fish and take boat rides all over. We will definitely return.

Beautiful house with very close proximity to downtown. Needs a few updates but would stay again. Owner was nice and responsive.

Great weather helped us enjoy the waterfront property. Launched my inflatable kayak from the dock. Fished from the dock catching several small sharks. A dophin appeared next to the dock as he surveyed the are for food.
Visited local restaurants and the museum on Parris Island where our marines train.

Needs a new manager for the house! This home needs major work done.Landscaping, Dock and the whole house. It was clean inside with a few minor glitches. VERY FALSE REPRESENTATION ! No upstairs bathroom pictures to show what you are getting. This is not great for couples. Not to mention a major tripping hazard just walking around the property.

The owners of this VRBO site are some of the kindest and accommodating people I have met.
Love their place. There were 6 family members and we were all spread out.
A fine place to stay and fish!!!!!!

The property was completely misrepresented. From the time we stepped out of our vehicle, it looked like a haunted house. The grounds are unkept, the inside wasn't clean and there were bugs. The toilet off the kitchen didn't work, there was hardley enough water pressure to take a shower and the pillows were so old and flat we had to go buy some. People should be aware of what they are getting into. Very disappointed.

Very comfortable house with a dock on the water. Wonderful back deck. There were a couple of glitches when we got there but our host and his family worked out the issues beautifully.
Beaufort is a great town with good restaurants. Best was the old Bull Tavern. The

A wonderful place, great view and close to so many things to do.
Extremely roomy and comfortable.
Mostly very clean. The floors needed sweeping and trash needed to be taken out.
A few light bulbs were burned out and a leak in the ceiling of the half bath when it rained. Also, the commodes in the half bath and upstairs bath have problems flushing.
These were very minor problems and did not detract from our overall enjoyment.

The views were spectacular from this house.
The owners are easy to work with as we had to make a change.
We hope to return

We had an awesome time and felt right at home.
Previous reviews had mentioned the heat was out, host was very quick to respond to my concerns and assured me it was no longer an issue.
10/10 will book again.

As other reviews have stated, this house needs maintenance inside and out. The heat is not working although space heaters are provided. Multiple electrical outlets do not work. Two of the toilets do not flush well. The TV is Roku and I could not even get that to connect most of the time. The refrigerator leaks a little at times. Also the amenities mention the garage which cannot be used since it is full of stuff. On the plus side, the furniture and bed is comfortable, and the view is gorgeous. The open layout is nice as well and the rooms were clean. With some attention, this can definitely be a desirable place to stay.

Heat not working properly.
Max temp 64 degrees.
Had to stay in the bedroom with a small heater.
Roku was the only TV service.
Very disappointed.

Fine home, Good Views of the Bay and Marshes, but there was no central heat in the house for our nine day stay. We learned it was not working prior to our stay, but we were not warned. Very chilly mornings (fifties) and several days not exceeding sixty five degrees. We should have been informed by our host prior to arrival, but were not.

We had a wonderful time! We enjoyed the sun rises over the water and seeing the dolphins. The living room was beautiful with cathedral, ceilings, and very comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and also eating out on the deck. Location is easy to find and easy to access. Planning on re-booking this house. I don’t know if you could find a better view in Beaufort.

The house was beautiful and Joanna is an amazing host. Joanna sent me a list of things to do and places to eat when she sent the check in and was very prompt to answer all my questions. I will definately be going back to this house.

This was our 2nd stay at this property, and, even with the price increase, it was great. Easy access to downtown Beaufort and a short trip to the beautiful beaches at Hunting Island State Park. Looking forward to coming back next year.

The dock view is a awesome and you are struck by the views as soon as you walk in. All furniture is newer but house needs updates and is not in as good of shape as pictures show. Guest house was rented while there but our neighbors kept to themselves. Location is great and quiet but the house needs TLC.

Perfect location for boating. Dock is in rough shape. House had everything we needed. It is a bit dated, but was fine for us. We enjoyed our stay.

My husband & I enjoyed our stay at this beautiful location! Their home is lovely! They have did all they could to ensure that we were comfortable! Thank you for allowing us to stay there!

Beautiful view. The dock was caving in at one place, the refrigerator leaked water and the bathtub was very dirty from where someone had taken a bath and it had not been cleaned. Otherwise very comfortable. Good location. Nice size house.

Great view of the sunrise and enjoyed watching boats and dolphins.
Older home being refurbished both inside and out. One toilet didn't flush, one barely flushed and grounds were not maintained well. Although mentioned, walkway to dock needed repair and was not in good condition, basically unsafe for use.
Would say after renovations, house may be worth the rent. Until then, well not so great.

The location was amazing and the owners were very responsive. We saw dolphins and the cruise ships going in and out. Beds and furniture was comfortable it was furnished beautifully and well stocked with shower soap, dish soap and laundry soap along with paper products. We would definitely recommend this home away from home. We will be back!

Owners were great to work with. We really enjoyed our stay. We normally stay in Seabrook, it was nice to be closer to town.

We had a very good time. House is spacious and has everything you need. The owners are wonderful, were exceptionally understanding related to the hurricane. The view is outstanding. Deck is very private.
Understandably we had to share the pier ; only suggestion would be to put some sort of curtains in living room as option for additional privacy from the traffic of others. Access to town/restaurants is great. One of our favorite VRBO stays

We arrived at the property late at night. We noticed the yard was overgrown and the garbage bins were full… ready to overflow, but unloaded all our luggage for a week’s stay. Unpacked our luggage and took showers. We then noticed a yellow gunk running down the bathroom wall. Then we saw and took pictures of what looked like mold on the wall. None of the electric outlets worked in either of the bathrooms downstairs and only 2 worked in the bedroom. Started to use one in the bedroom to dry my hair and the outlet was too loose to hold my dryer cord plug. Against our better judgement, we stayed one night because it was late, we left first thing the next morning. We texted the owners and was told they would not give us a refund for the remainder of the week. Owners were hard to deal with because they wouldn’t believe anything we said. We even sent them the photos and the video of everything that was wrong. We did not want to spend any more time in the house because of the Mold!!

Although the property has some minor repairs that are needed and could use some black out curtains you simply can not beat the location on the water. If you are looking for something on the water (not beachfront) then this is your place! If you have a boat you can dock it here which is what we did and we simply loved it. So the price is totally worth what you are getting. Its not some 5 star resort but for us it was amazing.

The property is beautiful! The sunrise is amazing to see each morning. There are so many dolphin right near the dock! Beds are comfortable. Owners are very helpful and respond quickly.

We have vacationed in Beaufort 4 times over the past several years staying in 4 different VRBO properties. This was by far the best overall. Other properties might have been closer to downtown Beaufort making it possible to walk in to town, but really, who wants to walk in the heat and humidity. This property is a short drive and parking is readily available. Our vacations in Beaufort revolve around the beach. We make daily trips to Hunting Island State Park -- typically arriving in the morning, staying until around lunch time, returning home, then back to the beach in mid to late afternoon. At past properties, the options for relaxing outside were limited. Here we spent hours on the shaded dock -- reading, relaxing, and drinking.
The property was clean, well equipped and comfortable. While we had no issues necessitating host intervention, they made sure that we knew how to reach them if necessary.
We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Perfect little place for a week or so stay (with amazing pricing!). Owners were always quick to respond if we had questions. The house had everything we needed outside of our own belongings. Having the washer and dryer was a huge bonus for a larger family. Location is great and close to many different things to do. The dock was enjoyed for many hours by our teens! We saw a dolphin the first trip to the dock and that set the tone for our whole trip. Would stay here again if we head to Beaufort in the near future.

Great location - close to Beaufort Waterfront
Perfectly situated on the river just down from the marina and waterfront park.
Hosts were welcoming and helpful in any way.
We will be back again!

Beautiful View on Beaufort River
Great Location close to everything. Quiet spot on the river with a dock overlooking downtown. Great value and host was above and beyond. We had to reschedule our trip because of work and they were extremely accommodating. Like other reviews have said, sparsely furnished, but even so this is a great value for what you get. No hesitation, I will try to book this place on my next trip to Beaufort.
