DREAM LAND is a stunning 1920's romantic hunting cabin hidden high up in the clouds above the Sunset Strip in the Hollywood Hills of legendary Laurel Canyon. This peaceful serene space is like no other. Surrounded by trees and nature. It is the type of space that inspires you to write a novel, play guitar and free yourself from the day-to-day hustle and bustle.

The Dream Land cabin sits at the end of the road perched high up on the hill. It is extremely quiet and peaceful. Enjoy nature, outdoor dining on the patio, and the woodsy backyard. The cabin was built in the early 1920's and retains all of its original charm and history. It has the perfect blend of authenticity and modern conveniences such as central heat and A.C. and all new designer Smeg kitchen appliances.

Walk out the front door and explore hiking trails. Sit back and write a song, poem, or sketch a drawing. Head down the mountain and enjoy everything Hollywood and Los Angeles has to offer.

The cabin is strategically located. You feel like you are on a remote camping trip yet two minutes from the Sunset Strip to enjoy some of the best nightlife and cuisine in the world. Uber friendly. You are 10 minutes from Universal Studios and 30 minutes from the beach.

Got to the property and saw that the owner was still preparing the home based on an early check-in request that I made. I said hello, then decided to leave and come back later to let him finish preparing the home and to hopefully have a contactless check-in. When I returned, the owner was still hovering around the parking spot. I started to get out of the vehicle, and he asked for my ID. I retrieved my IDs and handed them to him while stating that I preferred more privacy. He then became upset and asked what was wrong with the privacy. I said "nevermind" and tried to give him the IDs again, but he stated, “we don’t have to do it.” I then asked if I could get a refund, and he said yes. I double-checked again while leaving the property, and he confirmed that he would be in touch with me about the refund. Now, the owner is lying, claiming that I broke house rules by not providing ID and that he felt threatened when I handed him the IDs and I was nothing but respectful. Now, I’m paying for a place I didn’t stay in. I flew four hours to California only to arrive and not have a place to stay. I scrambled for days trying to find consistent lodging and stayed at multiple hotels before finding a place. This guy is a habitual liar and an awful person. He is even lying about the process, stating that VRBO has to cancel and release the days booked. I called VRBO and confirmed this was a lie. If anyone is reading this, please do not stay at this guy's property!

My love for the 60s music scene and the artists who found their haven in Laurel Canyon inspired my daughter and me to meet in LA and stay high up in the canyon. Williams Dreamland is the perfect retreat. The all-white decor exudes calm and tranquility without feeling stuffy or uncomfortable and is impeccably clean. He has curated a perfect getaway. We loved being so close to all the conveniences of LA while feeling worlds away. It was so quiet and peaceful. We highly recommend this property and look forward to returning!

We enjoyed our stay in this unique and beautiful home in a beautiful neighborhood and quiet location. We enjoyed a comfortable 5 night stay. Lots of windows and trees. Communicative host who gave us some great dinner recommendations.

My fiance and I had the perfect time staying here. We were in town to catch our favorite band at the Hollywood Bowl. William is a fantastic host and made our stay very welcoming and comfortable. This place was clean, easy to find, had a unique and cozy vibe to it, and it’s close to so many different places. We love that it’s surrounded by nature, feels really private, and it’s a great place to come back to unplug after a night out. Thank you William for having us and giving us an unforgettable experience. We can’t wait to come back!

I traveled to LA with a friend to visit my son who is a student for a few days and we found Dreamland to be a wonderful landing spot. We absolutely loved our stay. William was a great host. We enjoyed shopping at the Laurel Canyon Country Store where we were able to purchase the basics for our trip. Although I've been to LA many times, I've never stayed in Laurel Canyon. It's utterly charming. My only advise is - beware the driving is a bit treacherous if you're not used to steep hilly terrain. It take a while to get used to! Thank you William for a great stay.

This home is utterly perfect. The finishings and furnishings are beyond luxurious and the space feels so cozy and elegant. A gorgeous space with beautiful views. Would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at Dream Land while I was in LA for a couple of days for meetings. This place has the perfect Laurel Canyon vibe. Having just watched the documentary, we felt like time stood still and we were back amongst rock history. Great proximity to the Canyon Country Store and Thank You for the Pace restaurant recommendation! Short drive to Sunset and WeHo. Book this place to feel relaxed and inspired. Truly one of a kind. Will definitely return!

…this is the perfect place!! Beautiful views, close neighbors, but still had plenty of privacy. Several outdoor sitting areas. Beautiful views! The inside is beautiful & rustic at the same time. Opening the shutters every morning was a treat!! I would recommend this property! Just be warned, it’s a workout of a walk if you decide to walk down the Country Store for coffee or necessities; totally doable, but wear your workout clothes! 😊

The space was so beautiful, and nourishing for the senses! The bathtub and the bed (like a cloud!) were my favorite parts. We rented dreamland as a landing pad after a long work weekend, and it was easy to have food delivered from local restaurants. We enjoyed evenings and mornings on the porch and the white sofa in the living room is just divine. I’d definitely stay here again.

Me and my partner travel a lot and I’m always very picky on where we stay. We wanted to be close to the action but also have a quiet getaway before Coachella . I am also a real estate agent and see many homes for a living, so I can easily say this is just as described the listing. This place was perfect- it’s a beautiful place, with high end furniture, appliances and amenities. It was cozy and had a beautiful outdoor space on a quiet dead-end street. It’s only a quick drive to Melrose, sunset, and West Hollywood area. William was a great host, it was easy to check in and we ran into him at the corner store so got to meet him personally. This area is amazing, no wonder it’s popular among celebrities. The Canyon Country store was nearby for coffee, groceries and also fine dining at Pace. We will definitely be going back. If you are still thinking about staying here, just do it.
