We stayed at base camp with our adult children and our grandchildren. We had other family members staying in Canon city at other VRBO's. They all agreed that base camp was the most comfortable and conducive to having all 24 family members over for dinner and an evening of family time. This location is within 10-15 minutes of everything, most places 3-5 minute drive. We enjoyed that we had the whole therapy parking lot to use for extra parking. The outdoor and indoor seating was spacious enough for all of our family. This is the first time that the bed was as comfortable as my own bed! Canon City is great we enjoyed Royal Gorge, the dinosaur museum and skyline drive. Highly recommend base camp and Canon City for a Colorado get away. thanks so much!!

Went to Cañon City for a family reunion. My patents, husband , two kids and I stayed at Base Camp and were impressed with how Mark and Sarah thought of everything. Enjoyed the evening relaxing while watch TV and playing trouble. Would recommend the Base Camp to anyone traveling through or in town for business.

I had a group of 5 friends stay at Base Camp for a long weekend. The place and location were great! The kitchen, bedroom and bathroom had everything we needed. The only negative was the room with the bunk beds was hot. That, however, did not detract from a terrific stay.

We had a wonderful stay. The unit was clean and spacious and prepped with all appliances and cooking utensils you could need. The hosts went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable while we were there.

Our family had the best spring break in Cañon City! Base Camp is very comfortable and welcoming. We felt like we were at home. Our kids loved the bunk room and said it was the best part of the trip. We enjoyed the Royal Gorge train ride, The Riverwalk, and the Winery at Holy Cross. May God bless your family in the year to come!

We were all quite pleased with this lovely home. The kitchen was well stocked, including a variety of spices. The backyard has grass, a large shade tree, and two patio tables with chairs. We had several dinners for visiting family members at the dining room table which seats 8 (or 10 with folding chairs). The house is well stocked with essential paper goods, soaps, linens & blankets. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

This is a very nice VRBO. Hosts were very communicative and were on TOP OF IT for sure. Within walking distance to several restaurants and had a great setup with a very nice backyard. We would absolutely stay here again!

The property was as described by the host; it shares the building with a physical therapy office. But don’t let that dissuade you from booking this property. Once we entered the home, we were immediately comfortable. The kitchen/living area is a nice size, coffee and tea complimentary, plenty of seating at the table and the bar. The couch is comfortable, and there is a half bath downstairs. If you want to relax outside, the tables and chairs are available with a nice lawn, a little haven away. The bedrooms were upstairs, nicely decorated, and comfortable beds. One larger bathroom in the master, and a smaller one near the two other bedrooms. There were nine of us, and the house accommodated us well. We were there just one night on our trip west but would have stayed longer if our plans were to do more in the area. I certainly recommend it.

We were there for our nieces graduation celebration in Pueblo. It was the perfect distance and many other things to do on down time. Met Sara and she was very nice and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

This house was amazing! 3 bedrooms, all upstairs, gave us enough room to spread out. The kitchen was stocked with all the tools you could need - potato masher, cheese grater, cookie sheets, BBQ tools, etc. We were able to walk to shops up and down the road, and the grocery store was just a few blocks away. We went a few miles down the road to the Royal Gorge bridge, as well as around the corner to ride the Royal Gorge train. We took another day to go to Salida and Buena Vista, both cute little towns!

Our vacation was for a family Christmas getaway the owners had a tree up for us and amenities that went above and beyond. For a vacation that was meant to be relaxing this home made that so easy. All around great experience.

A really nice little home right in Cañon City. Great set up, kitchen, living room with bedrooms upstairs with soft beds and pillows. Nice backyard, easy parking. 100%. Hosts were super easy to work with and just plain good people.

This rental is perfect for a family! Lots of room to gather including nice outdoor space, but also plenty of room to spread out. The owners were easy to get ahold of and even gave great ideas for excursions. Had everything we needed but was close to stores and restaurants. Highly recommend!

Overall the property was great! We had lots of room for my family, easy access and the property manager was always very promp with any questions I had and very friendly! The only disappointment was the cleanliness. The counters were dirty with dried on food and crumbs. The appliances as well had crusty food on handles and dials. And the bathrooms as well had dirt, debri, hair on the toilets and in the sink. So we wiped alot of those things down with our own cleaner. And the floors were left with smeary residue from whatever kind of cleaner was used on the flooring. As I said the place was really nice except for those basic things that need a little work. We would stay again.

The place was not what was expected but still very good. Let me explain. The location was a bit odd with another business there at the front of the house. The other was the lack of a true A/C. I was a little concerned with the swamp cooler but was pleasantly surprise on how comfortable to was during the day and night. We will definitely try staying here again when we come back.

We enjoyed our stay at Base Camp so much. It was perfect for our group. We were able to walk to most places in town and it was an easy drive to the Gorge and rafting. The scenery is beautiful. The kitchen it fully stocked and communication was fantastic. I would recommend this place for anyone.

Everything was perfect in this house. The only problem we has was with Wiffi . My frnds faced issues while working they had to connect through hotspot instead of wiffi. Apart from that we dont see any problem. The house was beautiful

Lovely Home Central to Lots of Sightseeing!

The home was fantastic for our family as we needed a central location to base-camp out of as we traveled and hiked some of the different famous, nearby spots like the Royal Gorge and Garden of the Gods. We felt very comfortable with all the room for us (adults), our teenage daughter, and two younger sons. The hosts were very courteous and quick to respond and they even worked with us to stay some additional time when we had a mess-up to our plans. We would definitely stay again here with a trip to the area and would love to return for more great hiking and a chance to white water raft next time!
