Every detail of this cabin has been carefully planned by a keen architectural/design eye. Love the miniaturization of the cabin in the form of the architectural model in the front yard mounted on an arbor pillar. Loved this perfect space to play at being a recluse for a long weekend. Definitely coming back.

This cabin was fantastic! Comfortable, charming, secluded… all the things you want when looking to get off the grid.

Well stocked with the little things needed for a stay, including wood and starters for the fireplace, which was beautiful and we really enjoyed. VERY quiet and secluded, but not hard to get to. Cute "historic" decor that compliments the cabins historic look. Would recommend/have preferred white sheets and towels. Otherwise would recommend overall as a great spot and value for couples looking for a nice getaway near Eureka Springs.

Exactly what we were looking for. Secluded, quiet. Provided amenities were spectacular ie. firewood, charcoal, snack assortment. Just over a mile to day use spot on Beaver Lake to swim and fish. 10 minutes to chase trout on the White River. 20 ish minutes to downtown Eureka Springs. Just remember seclusion like this means no quick runs to the grocery or convenience store. Pack in and pack out like camping and it’ll be great. As for the circle drive we made it fine in and out with an AWD Ford Explorer. Much bigger and or 2 wheel drive probably best to stay on the blacktop.

Cabin location was perfect!! Close to Beaver Lake and Eureka Springs, yet far enough away to feel completely isolated. So quiet and relaxing, can't wait to visit again.

I read, is the location for stars, just in hopes to get somebody’s attention at the ownership or management level. The cabin really is an awesome place. It’s a cool little cabin, and we couldn’t have been happier. However, you have got to do something about that driveway. My recommendation is that you completely eliminate the island in the middle of it. If there’s an extreme aversion to that, then I recommend that you significantly narrow it. I applaud the attempt at executing, a circular driveway, but a person is only getting around that in a smart car. I damaged my bike rack on the back of my truck, trying to back out of it when we first got there, after I realize that there’s no way my truck was ever going to get into that driveway. After I backed out, I noticed that somebody else that had been there, previous to us, had smashed their tail light in the same location. We ended up just parking out on the road, and that is a pain in the neck.
Honestly, that is our only complaint. We are great communication prior to arrival, the check in process was super easy, and as I said, the secluded location back there was just what we were looking for. Really great experience.
Just don’t bring a full size one ton truck and think you’re putting it in the driveway. Or at least not more than 10 feet into the 50 foot driveway.

Great place for some quiet down time. Visited nearby Eureka one day and grilled and enjoyed the cabin the rest of our visit.

Loved this place! So relaxing. Nice to sit on front porch and read. Kitchen has everything you need. This was a last minute trip to celebrate my husbands birthday and we both loved it. Road near cabin is also nice to take a walk on. Good location. Just make sure to follow the hosts instructions on how to get there vs google maps.

A very special cabin in the woods. Everything was just as described. We rested, we renewed, we listened to the birds, sat by the fire and watched the stars come out. Already rebooked for October. Just a wonderful place .

Beautiful log cabin in the woods. Loved every single moment there. Property has wifi, worked great.
Word of advice to renter, print out or screenshot info from reservation, lol. Once we got there, we were mesmerized by the satisfaction of the rental. All excited I pulled out my phone for door code...... NO phone service, luckily I had another working phone to get a message to host for the code.🤣.
Love this place. Will put on our list of places to return to.

We originally were looking for a cabin in Branson for Christmas. Every one that I inquired about said that they would not supply a Christmas tree. So, I started looking outward from Branson, and when I came across this cabin and asked if a Christmas tree could be supplied, I was met with an absolutely! I even got a picture sent to me when it was put up!
So, who would have thought we would be in for a crazy winter storm at Christmas? I sure didn't when we booked. We arrived on Dec. 23rd and it was 7°F outside. The roads were snow lined and icy. We pulled up, unloaded the car and quickly ran to the store for groceries. We hurried as fast as we could because we were seriously worried about the road to the cabin after dark. Little did we know, but the drive in and the walkway and stairs had been salted!!!
When they say you only need your clothes and food.... they mean it. This was the most well stocked vacation home we have stayed in. We freaked a little because we didn't by any tin foil... no worries they had several in a cabinet. We carry a Dyson stick vacuum, because most places don't have a vacuum available... they had one! Didn't have room in the car for a fan...found one in the closet! We didn't need for anything! Our host was on top of all information needed for our stay too! We enjoyed our trip immensely! Kids are already talking about wanting to come back during the summer! Thank you for everything... especially the Christmas tree! Some great memories were made!

We're VRBO veterans, and this was certainly among our top 5 experiences/locations. It's refreshing when owners clearly want good travelers to come back - this is one of those places.
This place really covers so many bases. Great kitchen with everything (So many places don't have equipment to cook with.), lots of space for hanging out with family or friends, but most of all... it's so peaceful. I wish I were a writer or a coder "cause this would be a great place to get some "concentration time". If you need to get away and clear your head and get some solo work done, this place would be ideal. Given how far out it was, I was pretty surprised at how fast the network was.
Couple of pointers:
1. The driveway is a turnaround with a very tight radius. My F150 couldn't make it, and if you don't have 4-wheel drive, I could see how you could could have a hard time in the deep gravel. If your not sure, don't try, just park in the culdesac.
1.b. if you use Google maps or Waze to find it, you won't quite get there... just keep driving down the hill around the curve to the dead end/culdesac.... it's at the very end.
2. There's a fantastic firepit, and there's plenty of firewood.. There are tree stump stools for relaxing by the fire, but I'm old, so we brought our own chairs for sitting by the fire. If you're old (you know who you are), I recommend you do the same. (Your kids will be fine on the stumps.) Also, they have all of the smores-making utensils (or hotdog roasting utensils) you can imagine.
3. It's a cabin, so it has creaky floors. I have a 100 year old house, so creaky floors don't bother me, but if they bother you, you might want to bring ear plugs.
We loved it, so we hope to go back...

The cabin and property are beautiful and well stocked with everything you could possibly need. If you plan to cook you’ll need your groceries along with spices and condiments (they have S&P and some Italian seasoning). The circle drive is very tight, the WiFi is intermittent, cellular coverage is sparse, and the bathtub for showering is challenging. Beyond those minor details, we absolutely loved our stayed and plan to visit again. The indoor wood burning fireplace was our favorite part. And the screened-in porch was wonderful for morning coffee in the rocking chairs. We saw lots of chipmunks running around and loved the quiet scenic beauty.

Property was amazing. Far enough out of the way but close enough to Eureka Springs and Rogers. I would love to come back in the winter to spend time in this cozy cabin!

A very peaceful secluded location.

Everything was just as pictured. Comfy beds and the house was well supplied.
The only complaint is the creaky floors in the loft which we could hear too well in the master bedroom below it. Once everyone was in bed, it was fine.

Beautiful retreat from the city
My partner and 2 friends stayed at the Mossy Moose cabin for a long weekend get away from St. Louis, MO. It was just the most beautiful property and the cabin was warm and welcoming and comfortable.
Our hosts made sure that anything you would need for any comforts of home are there. So much attention to details! We kept remarking how well outfitted the cabin was. We returned each evening to prepare our evening meals even though we had plans to eat dinner out because we wanted to enjoy the cabin more fully. Close to Eureka Springs and all of the attractions to see and shopping at the unique shops, we enjoyed our Saturday there. On Sunday, we made the short trip to Bentonville to visit Crystal Bridges. The museum exceeded all expectations and we were extremely impressed at the vast collection housed in such a tranquil and architecturally interesting place. Definitely, make it part of your trip! The cabin is close to a Beaver Lake camping area for guests who might like to go fishing or swimming. We only enjoyed the view, but I imagine anyone wanting to enjoy the lake would find it a very good spot to enjoy the water and gorgeous scenery!
This is not a criticism, but if you choose to stay at the Mossy Moose be sure to follow the hosts directions and not GPS! We got a little lost, and went down a narrow downhill road before realizing we really should be reading the very good direction our hosts gave. GPS will get you there, but it can’t figure out how to get you to the exact spot! Anyway, it gave us an adventure which we laughed about later.
We all gave the Mossy Moose cabin high marks for cleanliness, anticipation of needs, environment and proximity to attractions. We would all stay here again the next time we visit the area and highly recommend staying there the next time you want a peaceful and relaxing get away!

1st visit to the Ozarks
The Mossy Moose cabin was a perfect spot for our first visit to the Arkansas Ozarks. Convenient location to the Springdale / Rogers area and Eureka Springs, but secluded enough for complete privacy and quiet. The cabin is beautiful, with everything we needed. We especially enjoyed our fires in the backyard firepit and the fireplace indoors. Thanks very much for your hospitality. We would love to stay again if a future opportunity arises!
