We really enjoyed staying at this condo! The large gathering area in the living room/dining room was great for our group of 6. I felt like the condo was well appointed with items to cook and clean. Our only issue is the loft got very hot in the afternoons and evenings. An A/C unit upstairs is needed. Overall we had a great stay though!

Reviewer Comments:
Address was confusing, went to wrong condo.Access code was incomplete, no "check mark" hence could not unlock entrance until just began to add characters on the end of the string.SSID in text message was not found. Had to read back of the router (which lucikly was NOT locked up in a closet). Figured out how to locate correct SSID and PW.Cold water in main floor bathroom was turned OFF below sink. ??2nd day, it rained all day. Then water began to LEAK through the kitchen light fixture, and the paint began to fill up with water on the drywall next to the microwave..... Called Durango Collective, she offered and executed a mere $65.00 refund on a total bill of $1280. SO. ..... overall pretty bad experience.

Nice location in relation to Fort Lewis College, easy walk.About a 5 minute drive down from the mesa to downtown Durango. The unit was well equipped. Unit is on second story but close to parking lot. Steps and stairs are involved. Unit has smart TV and so for us connecting to Netflix and Amazon Prime was easily done. Beds were good. We were there in late May and the weather was turning warmer. In the late afternoon we had to open the windows to cool the house off. It appeared that there were window A/C units stored in one of the closets but they were not yet installed in the windows.Food choices in Durango are many and varied. We enjoyed eating at 636 Main Ave. Good food but not inexpensive. We also ate at Perbacco Cucina Italiana, located right next to the D&SNGRR station. Also good food, also not inexpensive. Unfortunately an old favorite, The Ore House, had an extensive fire in January of 2024 and is still working to recover and reopen as of May 2024.The Rocky Mountain Chocolate Shop on Main Street with-in a block or 2 of the railroad station is also very good. The River Trail is long & nicely done. Rest rooms are available in the town park.

We rented 3 condos and enjoyed our stay with many family members. The pool was fun, the hiking nearby was breathtaking. Our rooms were comfortable, clean, and a great place to relax after a big day.

This was the perfect place to stay for my husband and I. It was close enough to the strip that we walked. We enjoyed the property and the views very much.

Description of this VBRO was accurate with the exception of the dryer not working properly. We were able to use the well stocked kitchen to prepare most of our meals and enjoyed dinner in the comfortable dinning area as well as playing games. The spacious living room allowed us to watch TV comfortably. We would highly recommend this property to base your stay in Durango.

We travel to Durango frequently for hiking and the bike park. We have always stayed further up the mountain, but this property was a great location. Up the hill from all of noise of Durango but an easy 5 minute drive to get to restaurants and a central location with plenty of comfy space and a nice pool after a day on the trails. We will definitely be back!

The property was very clean and a great location to downtown. The only drawack was the downstairs shower. It worked sometimes and when it did work it was very difficult to turn on. I would stay again if shower fixed and needed a place to stay to mostly sleep, watch a movie in the evening ect.

This property served us well. It was easy access to the areas around us. The pool and hot tub were a nice bonus. The washer and dryer were also great. We had a little incident with the locking of the door and the management was on it. The only suggestion I would make is maybe provide a couple pool towels. We would plan to stay here again.

I loved how close we were to all the activities in downtown Durango. It was quiet, clean, and met all our needs. I would recommend staying here in cooler weather, as the air conditioner did next to nothing to cool the unit down in the extreme heat we encountered during our visit. There’s no air conditioner upstairs and that is, of course, where heat rises. Other than that, I would recommend a stay here during a visit to Durango.

Quiet and Comfy
This place is set in a quiet condo complex in the Fort Lewis College area of Durango. It is close to mountain biking and hiking trails which is what we were looking for. We had to drive to grocery stores but everything is within a 10min drive. We could have ridden our bikes if we wanted to. Location was very important to us. The bedrooms had some work to be done on the closet doors but we didn't use the closets much. The beds were awesome and there were extra blankets. Don't let your kids take the master room in the upstairs loft. There's more room up there. With all our stuff the size of the place was a little smaller than we would have liked, but we were outdoors most of the time. This place kept us warm and comfy during the cold fall nights.

Less than expected
Condo had faint odor from not being opened up. Furniture is tired. Wireless didn't work and we could not find anyone to contact.

This is not a 5 star property. It is basically older condos in disrepair. The bifold closet doors in both bedrooms were off their tracks and not operational so closets were not usable. The washing machine would turn on like it would work but would not complete its cycle and therefore not wash clothes properly. My wife cooked a meat loaf in the oven and the fumes from the oven would burn your eyes. We had to leave the front door open to air it out. This place worked in a pinch for us due to low vacancies available but for the prices they charge it should have been a lot better.

Wouldn’t recommend the owner
When we arrived, our upstairs toilet was running - almost like when you flush & it resets. Not a problem at all - barely noticed it and we weren’t spending much time at the apartment. Around midnight that night, someone started banging on the front door and windows while shining a light through the windows. We thought we were being robbed and lost a night of sleep.
We found out the next day the neighbor could hear the toilet and it annoyed him, so he decided midnight was a good time to inquire.
Anyways, I reported this all to the owner. When she showed up on checkout day, she entered the apartment screaming jumbled insults at us regarding the toilet. Honestly not sure what she was talking about - but it sure sounded like she was blaming us and that it was a huge problem. (The toilet worked fine - just runny?) She insulted us and called us names - none of us really knew how to respond - even the teenage girl that she had hired to clean the place was blushing. Super bizarre, rude lady, and could not recommend her
