My husband and I spent our 11 year anniversary in this beautiful home with our 2 daughters. We had a great time!

The house was very spacious and dog friendly. Enjoyed the hot tub!

I’m not one to write reviews but we too have a rental property and I’d be appalled if our management company allowed this level of filth for anyone to check into. Our sheets smelled, had to wash those, the kitchen cabinets and drawers were nasty with crumbs and not very stocked, the dirt, hairballs, dead bugs on the floor, dirty filled vacuum canister, a joke for a broom, the grill needed a hammer to clean so we just didn’t use that. The hot tub needed to be vacuumed. It was one thing after another. Dishwasher hardly worked, cleaned those by hand. We messaged Vacasa and they took notes but no one ever came to clean. Some fellas came by to check on the dishwasher and they told us to just try another setting. Super helpful! Joking obviously. Vacasa is the worst and if I were the owners of this property, I’d fire them stat! The property description leaves out that it’s a three level house and my MIL who walks with a cane was with us. Didn’t know she’d have two flights of stairs. Property description could use more details about the entrance to the neighborhood. Dirt, windy roads. People who get car sick will want to know about this. The house was super disappointing and it was pointless to have a management company because they did nothing about anything. Dishwasher still barely works. Easier to wash by hand rather than wash them twice.

Location was great, have privacy. Home is setup well. The grills are completely useless, both have lots of rust and need to be replaced. Other than that everything was pretty good. They could have cleaned a little better before we got there. There was old dog poop in the yard, not something you would think would have been left there. It was a little pricey I think for what we got

Home was very convenient to slopes and had a very nice yard with a wonderfully, wooded surrounding. Plenty of space for our group. We had a great time relaxing at the home, when we weren't on the slopes.
The only downside was the hot tub. We were really looking forward to coming off the slopes and back to a nice time in the hot tub. When we arrived, we found the hot tub was unusable. Scum floating though out the tub. Contacted management and they said they would have it checked out, but they never showed and never responded back after initial contact.
The hot tub was a disappointment, but it didn't keep us from having a great time. The home provided a nice place for us to stay while we visited Beech Mountain and we'd stay there again.

I arrived at this home, very excited about my vacation. Looking forward to Mountain View and relaxing in the hot tub when I arrived I asked Vacasa how long they felt like it would take for the hot tub to get warm and that was on Friday Friday night. The hot tub never did get warm enough to get into when I woke up the next morning hoping to have my coffee in the same hot tub. It still was not warm, I called Vacasa and they told me that they would reach out to someone to come and look at it. I had hoped it would be fixed and didn’t hear back from anyone all day after calling three times throughout the day to let them know how important it was to me to have a hot tub , I left a voicemail into the late afternoon letting me know that I would get my $30 hot tub fee back. I called and let them know how upset I was and asked to be moved into another rental that had a hot tub since I was stuck on my vacation with no hot tub, which was the reason I chose this home , they told me it was too late into the evening to do anything about it and then management person would reach out to me. It is Tuesday and I have not heard anything from anyone. I’m very disappointed that no one seem to care that my vacation was ruined due to this important detail , the home was lovely other than the hot tub not working and the rental company not caring at all. I can honestly say the homeowners took a lot of care with the property and it was very nice to have a vacation in. I would encourage them to get another property management team .

What a great place to stay! Very clean and comfortable. Everything went smooth and we loved the place!

Home was pretty and very happy we were able to check in early. There were only a few things we noticed, puzzle pieces and game pieces on the floor, and when we came in it did not seem like it was just cleaned, as in nice, fresh smells. I would suggest having some plug ins. It was nice that Vacas text us after arriving asking us if everything was ok. I appreciate that so much! The showers and bathrooms were clean, kitchen was clean but again did not smell like someone just cleaned. House a little stale. Make sure you understand that you have to go up and down stairs to get to bedrooms, we did know this before we went. Another thing that was frustrating was the directions on google etc the confusion of turns to get to house, the number of turns which was really baring off instead of actual turns etc. A little frustrating it took forever on long dirt roads just to go out shopping, eating, coming back to let the dog out of crate to potty and then go back out. Also I had a roofing nail stuck in my tire, that was frustrating. We really liked the back outdoor space even though we didn’t have time to go out back. The front fenced in area was small more like for tiny dogs but grateful that I didn’t have to put a leash on my dog just to go potty. I really wish mountain houses in general had more yard space for dogs, guess it’s kinda hard being on a side of a mountain. Grateful we got to take our dog with us to this house. King size bed in basement slept great, soft which I like.

This cabin was absolutely beautiful! If I texted the property manager, they responded within a minute or two each time. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Wifi and TV service was perfect (which is rare for us when staying at a cabin). We were there for only son's birthday trip and he said it was the best cabin we have ever stayed at. No one wanted to leave. We will definitely be staying again.

My family thoroughly enjoyed our Beech Mountain vacation at the Bee & Bae Hideaway. We formerly lived in the High Country, and this well-appointed vacation home had everything needed for a multi-day stay. The home's back deck extends treehouse-like into the hardwood forest, and Beech Mountain's trail network is a short, steep walk from the back door. It was a great home base for day trips to Boone, Parkway, Roan Highlands, Valle Crucis, etc. We also enjoyed proximity to Beech's hiking trails and other summertime amenities. Our stay in this great home was made even better by the owners' attention to details like: plenty of split & dried firewood for outdoor fire pit, clear & simple instructions for hot tub, easily accessible cleaning supplies, WiFi repeaters throughout the house, extra pet supplies, and a chalkboard in the kitchen with useful info about the house & neighborhood. We would definitely stay at this home again, especially during the summer when the mountain weather provides much-needed respite from the heat elsewhere in the South.
Note that like many homes in the High Country built on steeply sloping lots, this property is designed with 3 floors of living, which means lots of stair climbing. The upper two levels (plus the entry steps) are visible in the photo of the front exterior. This was not an issue for us, and we appreciated the great lighting, interesting views, and refreshing ventilation on each level. Just be aware that the home has lots of stairs and may not be appropriate for those who have concerns about parking, sleeping, and main living areas on different levels.

house not cleaned from last tenant prior to our arrival, beds not made, no towels etc..Heating not working properly, never used jacuzzi -never worked even after requesting service call. extremely hard to get service. bed mattreses arched caused back pain. never going back to this house or VACASA homes

The home is very nice and secluded. Well decorated and the kitchen is very stocked with everything you need. We stayed in this home last winter and it seems Vacasa has changed some things. Did not know we would have to make all the beds in the house upon arrival. The sheets, pillow cases and towels were in plastic bags laying on top of the beds. There were 10-12 beer cans on the back deck and in the flower beds out back. The hot tub did not work during our entire stay. I sent a message on the booking app and also sent an email to Vacasa. Did not receive a response. Over all the house is nice. But will not book again.

We absolutely loved this house! There were 4 colleged aged young adults and 2 adults - we had plenty of room. It was really clean; great fire pit; and we loved the hot tub. I highly recommend staying here for your get away.

The house was as advertised for the most part. It was in good condition inside and out. Remote fireplace worked great as well as all TVs throughout the house. Trail behind house was convenient (but pretty steep on the return). We enjoyed it.

House was three full flights of steps from the master bedroom to the kitchen. I would like to compliment the owner on the house itself . They did a good job . I would say they are being let down by the cleaning crew . We paid the extra cleaning fee , . Found a dental placker under the bed and mold on the shower curtain . Hot tub was filled with leaves. The grill was not something you would want to cook on . We had real nice steaks and no grill
Lastly , they should put in the ad that the home has only streaming tv. If you don’t have a Netflix or Hulu, you get no tv

This property is so cute and just as shown. The only downside was the cleanliness. Light fixtures and surfaces needed to be scrubbed.

This was the perfect home for our family and friends (4 adults and 6 kids). It had everything we could have possibly needed! The woods surrounding the house made for a perfect adventure for the kids. The house was decorated so cute. It was in a great location also.

The owners of this home really put a lot of thought into every detail for their guests comfort. Firstly, the location is secluded and not right on top of a neighbor. There is a fantastic fire pit out back with wood supplied, but we did bring our own. There is a swing for kids, a tie out for your dog along with kid and pet friendly gates for all the decks and walkways. There is even a fenced area for your dogs to do their business. The lower deck has a large hot tub for complete relaxation after a days hike or winter snow activities! Inside is great!!! It is clean and nicely furnished. The kitchen is very well stocked and has a 5 burner gas stove. The living area has plenty of seating….and the sofas are extremely comfortable!! Even has a working gas log fireplace!! There are tons of games to play also, as well as some small kids books and blocks, coloring books…etc! The beds are comfortable as well as the linens. There were plenty of towels and accessories for all 3 bathrooms. The upper deck has 2 CLEAN grills and a large awning with comfortable outdoor seating. There are hooks everywhere to hang coats, towels or anything needed. There is even a cute little dog nook with treats, shampoo and a paw washer as well as a pet bed. We loved this home!! Check in and check out were so easy too!! We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!!!

This house is very well stocked! They have thought of a lot perks if you take your first babies! Made us wish we had brought ours. Furnishings are nice and comfortable. The hot tub is huge. We wish we could have stayed another day to just enjoy the house itself. We were out and about the area a lot.

Stayed here with 4 adults total and two family dogs. The house was plenty big for all of us. The details were incredible - awesome outside amenities like multiple decks, hot tub, horse shoes, string lights. The WiFi was great - several of us worked for a few hours during the trip and it was reliable. The fireplace was a bit difficult to start but very nice to have once we got it going! Only very very small things we didn’t love were that there were not enough trash bags for use in the kitchen trash (we took the trash out once and that was it), and the bottom floor bathroom had some mold on the shower curtain liner (not a big deal, but not what we expected for how much $$$$ we paid).
The place was easy to get to. It was about 10 minutes away from the ski slopes if you’re a cautious mountain driver like we Floridians were. It was nice not having to worry about driving the trash to a dump spot because there was a trash container right by the road on the property. The ad says 3 cars can fit in the driveway…okay, “fit” maybe, but idk how some people would get out of their doors! We had two large vehicles and it was perfect for us. We especially loved the AWESOME trail that you can hike to from the backyard! Beautiful river and waterfall just a short hike away, and the dogs had the time of their lives hiking with us!
Overall, our experience was excellent. Definitely recommend.

Enjoyed a long weekend trip to the mountains at Bee & Bae Hideaway!! Wonderfully appointed home tucked away in a wooded paradise. All amenities were on site and the house was very well kept. Hot tub was amazing after a day in the slopes. The serenity of being in the mountains but also a close drive to Ski Beech and Banner Elk. Would highly recommend and looking forward to our next trip!

This property met all our needs for a small Thanksgiving gathering. Unfortunately, we had problems using the fireplace, even calling maintenance to help, and finally gave up trying to use it. The 18 degree temps made losing the ambience of the fireplace a sad loss. At 76 and 78, my husband and I found having the master down 2 flights of stairs daunting. I should have checked bedroom locations before booking, so that’s on me. We loved having our pup with us and the beds were awesome. Sooo comfortable. I would suggest adding a drawer unit for the master so renters don’t have to live out of a suitcase. ( no closet). The kitchen was well supplied, even offering a roasting pan for the Turkey and, lo and behold, sharp knives, which 90% of rentals fail to provide. All in all, our family loved it and appreciated being together in a pleasant setting for our Thanksgiving celebration.
