COME ESCAPE AT THE LAKE!! With this 4 bed room 3 bathroom gem you can bring the whole family and have lots of fun!! Lake Greenwood is a special place for my wife and I. Our cozy lake home sits in the friendly neighborhood of Greenwood Shores. The home was newly renovated in 2021 with many thoughtful touches all around to help make your stay enjoyable. You can tan, swim, fish, build a fire or simply enjoy the views off of our dock. The house is less than two miles from a landing. The house has a nice back porch that is perfect for entertaining. We do have two cameras on the property for your protection only. Beautiful greenwood state park is only a 3 mile drive by car. There is biking trails with beautiful outside art and picnic areas!

We’ve been looking to purchase a home in Ninety Six and recognized the pictures of this one. It was a perfect location for us. The house was comfortable and fairly well appointed. Only 1 dish towel was provided but we had to leave a day early due to the hurricane and possibility of flooding. The remote for the main t was MIA and so we were unable to use it.Could have used a couple more coffee cups with some size rather than the dainty little ones. A rug by the front door would be nice since we had several downpours. Also bedside lamps in the bedrooms. All minor things in the overall scheme of things. Will definitely return in the near future unless we buy our own home in the meantime.

We had an amazing time. The property was nice and loved that the kids could get in the water where it was shallow. The house was nice. Owners need to come in and check to see what needs to be fix such as broken blinds, new broom would have been nice and someone had put a hole in the wall as you come in front door. A/C upstairs was awesome. Down stairs would reset in middle of night and kids got hot. Overall it was an amazing time. Also, it was a great neighborhood and I would recommend staying there.

While the location and communication with the owner was excellent, there were other things that needed some attention. As stated from previous reviews, the outside needs a good power wash. We were there in November and the bugs and cobwebs out front were pretty bad. Also, the ceiling fans had a year's worth of dust on them that I cleaned.

Pros: Has a Huge kitchen and a master bedroom that opens to back porch with seating and a gas grill. ( not sure if gas included as we did not use it) Beds downstairs were comfortable. There were plenty of extra supplies like coffee, toilet paper, paper towels, peanut butter, spices, towels, blankets, trash bags, and laundry detergent. Wifi worked perfectly. I booked this place bc of the size, firepit area, and lake. It was me, my 2 daughters and 5 of their friends.
Cons: The 'lake' was dried up from the shore to the end of the long dock. Very unattractive. No charcoal or wood provided for the firepit but the lights worked. Urine (we think from a cat) smell on the floor in bathroom and on the queen mattress downstairs, spiderwebs on walls throughout.
As women, when we turned onto the road to the house the neighborhood looked like it might be sketchy but we didn’t have any issues while there and the owner was immediately responsive when I texted him about the wifi password upon arriving.
At half a grand for Friday 4 PM thru Sunday 10 AM I was very disappointed bc I wanted it to look special out by the lake. My daughter is getting married and she loves looking at the stars. Had I known it was a mud puddle I wouldn’t have chosen this rental.

The pictures of this property must be very old. House was extremely dirty and hasn’t been kept up. A mattress was soaking wet and it had to flipped over to be slept on. We would have found somewhere else to stay but we had my elderly grandmother and my handicapped aunt with us so it would have been very difficult to move them at that point. Property owner took a full day to respond to my messages and still offered no help. I should have believed the negative reviews that were already left about the property. Please save yourself the trouble and just don’t stay here. It’s disgusting and the host doesn’t care.

Great location overlooking Lake Greenwood, close to Ninety Six and about 20-25 minutes from Greenwood. Plenty of room with 4 bedrooms, including 4 twin beds upstairs. We didn’t have time for the fire pit, but it looked very inviting with a beautiful view of the lake.

The house and outdoor areas are great! The house easily accommodated 4 adults and 2 young children. We would definitely look to stay again. Host was great. The view of the lake was beautiful.

Pros: beds are comfortable, sheets were clean and it's on the lake. Cons: Microwave very dirty, refrigerator very dirty with food debris and hair, pile of dirty towels left in the main shower which means the shower wasn't cleaned, many bath towels are stained and with holes in them, entire exterior needs to be power washed - dirt, green algae and spider webs everywhere. No paper towels or bath soap. No wash cloths. Host said there was a "new cleaning lady and she didn't do a good job". It was awful and we left a day early.

The most adorable house, neighbors were friendly, never ran into any issues! Will recommend booking to anyone! We are looking forward to coming back!

Nice location on the water in a quite cove, our party of six all seniors ( between the ages of 69-79) the house was nice, however the seating was not ideal the living room only had seating for three, the back porch was nice location for viewing the lake, but only had two Adirondack and two high stairs neither ideal for seniors. Also, the bedrooms upstairs were great for young children, seniors not so much. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend for it for a four adults and four children. The host Bradley, is very nice and helpful in returning a pair of glasses my sister mistakenly left in the upstairs bedroom!

It's fun to stay on the lake but the house really needs a deep clean and better regular cleaning. Also better accommodations for the amount of people that can stay (ex: there were 4 dinner plates, 2 seats on porch). The pots and pans are in rough shape. I let the owner know and he responded nicely.

Great little spot to get away for a few days with our family of 7. Even had the in-laws come down for the day to go out on the boat. Fire pit is big plus for family time. Would stay again.

This house was great, with ample room for my family of four. We were able to relax and recharge with all the comforts of home. The house was as pictured and had all the amenities we needed during our stay. Lastly, communication with the owner (Bradley) was outstanding.

We rented the lake house to be close to our son (a student at Lander) for a few days. Turned out to be further away than I would have liked (25ish minutes into Greenwood) but I would rent here again. Comfortable beds. Super clean. Priced right.
The breakfast bar in the kitchen made social gatherings perfect - all together while cooking, eating, playing games (several provided) or just generally hanging out. The tvs are loaded with all the streaming apps so we also had plenty of entertainment. Since the weather was cooler than I was hoping we didn't spend much time outside - bummer since I was really looking forward to some time around the fire pit. I bet when the lake is at peak level during the summer it is amazing!
We had everything we needed to eat in for every meal - including lots of spices left behind by other guests. That being said, I did suggest a few replacements and additional items to make it even better for the next guests.
As a vacation spot, this one checks all the boxes. However, I needed to work every day during our stay and there was no where quiet or private for me to not be disruptive to everyone else. A small desk and chair in one of the bedrooms would be a nice addition. The wifi was fairly slow but capable of handling my needs.
Bradley was super helpful and patient with my questions - the perfect host! I will put this house on my list for next year's visit for sure.

Bradley was the best host! Thanks to him we had a place to stay with my kids and my cat and dog. He was very friendly and the place was so nice. I wish we were able to have enjoyed the lake side but it is a bit nippy for that. Again thank you Bradley for everything!

Neat little place to rent on the lake. We rented the place to be close to our sons wedding events as we traveled in from out of town. An ok place that could be great if it were not for a couple of details. First, something is wrong with the bed in the back bedroom. The mattress sinks into the middle. Not sure if the bed is broken or the mattress is worn out but it is very uncomfortable. The other bedroom downstairs need to have the hardware tightened on the bed as it sounds like it is coming apart when you roll over. Lastly, there are active cameras on the front and rear of the house. Not that we would do anything that we should be worried about, it would have been nice to have them disclosed prior to renting. We probably would have left once we arrived but we didn’t have time to find anything different and make it to the events of the wedding weekend.

Great place with the lake right at the backyard. Plenty of room for our family of four adults to relax and enjoy the lake. The house is immaculately clean and has a well equipped kitchen but if you’re spoiled and need a Keurig bring your own. The neighborhood is nice and neighbors are very friendly too. If looking for a place in this area definitely stay here.

We enjoyed our stay. It was very relaxing. Went fishing, tubing, swimming, and had a great time. Near to Greenwood for groceries and takeout.

Enjoyable family weekend
Our extended family enjoyed a lovely weekend at this lakefront property. We had decided to gather and have a sendoff for an aunt who is moving to the West Coast. Family members came from WV, NC, and across SC, and our local family in Greenwood were able to join us for a cookout. The house was clean and nicely decorated. We enjoyed the large back porch and the fire pit area. Everyone had a great time playing in the water and on inflatables as well. The owner was very responsive and the check-in/checkout process could not have been easier. we were very lucky to find a place where our out of towners could stay together, and also a property that was open to us gathering there. A great time was had by all!

Lake weekend!
Wonderful stay! We were very comfortable and had plenty of room to relax all weekend. Close enough to downtown Greenwood to enjoy the flower festival and enjoy Break on the Lake but also remote enough that we were able to really unplug. The only thing I would suggest is making sure that the restrooms had at least one back up roll of TP and put remote controls in the bedrooms for the TVS. Thanks for a great stay!

Very responsive host, clean, comfortable house but needs a few things
Very responsive, nice host, he allowed a 3rd dog and late checkout on Sunday. Brad was always available to answer questions. Clean, comfortable house but needs a few things: ceiling fun in living room was not working and air was not really moving downstairs because of it. House is advertised for 10 people but there were only 4 forks, and 7 plates. Other than that, we had a great time.

This house has everything you need for a relaxing and comfortable stay. It is very clean and well-appointed. The beds are very comfortable and slept 2 families with no problem. We especially enjoyed our time spent on the large porch and around the fire pit. Greenwood was about 20 minutes away for groceries, restaurants, etc. Nice location on the lake—would definitely stay here again!
