In town because Austin is AWESOME:) Need a relaxing staycation in the heart of the 78704? Come stay at the coolest little backyard cottage in the Zilker area. This studio cottage is poolside and walking distance to Alamo Drafthouse, Soto, Uchi, Gibson Bar, Ramen Tastuya and Lamar Village restaurants and bars. Close to downtown (1.7 miles) Barton Springs (0.7 miles) and Lady Bird Lake Trail.
This comfy cozy rental has a private entrance, patio, small backyard, and parking for up to 3 cars. Rental includes access to outdoor pool, hot tub, outdoor TV, mini put put green, grill, and fire pit. Back yard is a shared space w/owner.. who is rarely home.

This 350 square foot unit has a brand new plush queen mattress that pulls down and up for more space and the couch pulls out into a double sized bed to sleep up to 4 guests. Laundry in unit as well as a mini-fridge and microwave. Brand new TV has Netflix HBO Max and mirror play. Everything you need and more for a short stay in the best neighborhood in the Austin Area.

Such an amazing quiet little home. Very comfortable for 1 or 2 guest. I loved the feeling and the vibes this little home has. It is easy to find and close to a lot of favorite spots. I would recommend this home to anyone! Kim is a super host.

Place was clean, easy to check in, walking distance to many things. We came into town for the races at COTA and it was only a 20 min drive there. In town but didnt feel like it, quiet and relaxing!

This is a great place to stay for a taste of what makes Austin special. Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood near Zilker, the casita is wonderfully maintained and perfect for a weekend getaway. Updated bath and comfortable bedroom makes this ideal for a couple. Would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic location! the room is perfect. it needs whatever you need. It is like Kimberly, the owner, is thing ahead by anticipating your needs. I could not ask for more. Kimberly is a fantastic person!!!!!! Super dog-friendly! Love her!!!!! Next time I come to Austin I will be back.

Bright and eclectic space within walking distance of some good restaurants. The lanai is a nice spot to sip wine or enjoy morning coffee. The host is very friendly.

The location for the property is perfect in a quiet, but very walkable neighborhood. Plenty of coffee shops and restaurants a block away and a quick walk/bike ride to Barton Springs, Zilker Park or downtown. Kim was a fantastic host and made it easy to take advantage of the pool and hot tub in her incredible outdoor space.

My sister and I just recently visited Amanda’s Charming casita for a girl’s weekend, and it was the best! Perfect space and location in Austin next to several good eats and shopping. Definitely recommend staying here!

Do not miss a chance to stay in this charming casita. Kimberley is a most gracious host making us feel welcome from the moment we contacted her through to checkout. The casita is perfectly situated close to all main attractions, extremely short walk to restaurants, exceptionally clean, quiet, comfortable bed and the pool/hot tub provide a wonderful place for relaxation. Kimberley has thought of everything when designing this casita, including two televisions (one inside and another on the patio), a microwave, large mini fridge, BBQ for the occasional light meal in although Austin offers many great dining options, including famous BBQ eateries! We would most definitely stay again next time we are in Austin!

Stayed here for a weekend, it was clean and close to all the activities we wanted to do including Barton Springs. The private pool was great to have access to during our stay. The Space was well air conditioned and loved the comfy bed. The owner was very welcoming and we loved the area and location.

My stay at Kimberly's was fantastic, from the reservation process through the end of my stay. Kimberly is a fantastic host who went out of her way to make sure that my stay was wonderful. The internet was not awesome, however, we spoke about it and I suspect it is already fixed. I truly look forward to staying again soon!

Be aware- host deceives and extorts

With written promise to extend our stay by 12 hours in exchange for positive review, host denies promise and attempts to extort a double-rate charge 2 days prior to arrival. VRBO said this stay is covered by Book with Confidence and after months of correspondence, they too are declining reimbursement. I am out the total amount of the 4 night stay as I had to cancel the reservation due to safety and security concerns. Host calls me at 11pm at night appearing intoxicated and changes house code numerous times prior to our scheduled arrival. She was not willing to discuss and I was forced to cancel my trip due to her irrational behavior. No one in their right mind would have stayed at this home and my safety was more important and should have been important to VRBO. They failed to uphold their guarantee and host should have credited me the total amount or at least made some good faith offer to compensate me. We never stayed at the home and lost our entire vacation plans. Very disappointed in both host and VRBO. If host agrees to credit or compensate, I will modify my review but at this time, she is uncooperative even though she finally admitted to the promise and even asked me to send PayPal request which she is now declining to credit. I am so confused by her ups and downs.

Five star wonderful weekend at the Casita! The bed is so comfortable. Kim the property owner is welcoming and happy that we enjoyed her great pool and beautiful Casita. The neighborhood is so peaceful all you hear are birds singing. My daughter and I walked a few blocks for Medici coffee in the morning and close by restaurants for dinner. The Casita will be my home away from home when I visit Austin! Highly recommend!

My husband and I were drawn to this property based on the Zilker neighborhood and the beautiful fenced in backyard to celebrate our anniversary over an extended stay. The property allowed pets where we were able to have our dog enjoy the stay as well! Kim was very accommodating through the whole process! The constructive criticism I will leave is that it is not ideal if you plan to make meals at the rental as there is no kitchen and a small prep area for meals. The AC unit worked but was needing maintenance as there was a leak that did get the surrounding ground area wet. The wifi was spotty if you are looking to have a stable connection to work remotely there. The highlights were definitely the backyard. It was a dream to have a pool and the shaded porch area with a fan. There were many additional items that the host would let you use or share, too. The number one highlight was the close proximity to the springs, restaurants, downtown, etc. We would recommend for any travelers!

Had a fantastic stay at this property. It is a great set up with private entrance, lovely garden setting and very comfortable accommodations. I loved the pool and hot tub too! Went swimming every day. Was able to relax while getting a lot of work done. Convenient location to just about everything!

Such a sweet and cozy room and lovely oasis. Great location, so many cool things to do in the neighborhood and close enough to get anywhere you want to go. Kimberly is an amazing host and helped us with anything we needed and an overall joy! Highly recommended and will stay here every visit to Austin.
