This is a lovely camp. Very peaceful. Well stocked kitchen, everything you need to make meals if you want to. There are also plenty of places to dine out in the area. Beds are very comfortable. Water pressure is excellent. Very nice layout.
We traveled with my parents who are in their 80s. My father uses a walker to get around. This house was quite easy for him to move around in. The bathroom and bedroom on the first floor worked well for them. There are only a few steps to get into the house.
Bring water shoes to access the pond, a little mucky. Kayak and canoe available! Biles as well.
Would have loved to stay longer. Maybe next time, won’t hesitate to go back!!

Loved how cosy this cabin was and it is in such a pretty location. Lots of great walks surrounding the property. Only downfall is the driveway. The entry cannot be driven on safely therefore cannot park directly in front of cabin which isn’t ideal in winter. Really needs fixing before next customers stay

The location and property are very nice. Cleanliness on arrival was disappointing. The entry way had dirt and dog hair on the floor and carpet. The vacuum that we used to try to vacuum the entry way had dog hair on the brushes that we had to remove. The stove fan hood had grease all over it. The house smelled of grease. The gas grill had no propane and it looked like it didn't work at all. There was grease thrown off the deck that we stepped in. The dishwasher wouldn't stay closed. Some of the dishes were put away dirty. When we tried to wash some clothes and towels, everything that used to be white turned orange.

Most enjoyable setting with waterfront views of fall foliage and local wildlife.

The cottage was all we thought it would be and we thought it would be great. Great communication with the property management. The cottage itself was warm and inviting. Great place to stay!

My husband and I had that best time, beautiful spot, easy access in and out of the water for our kayaks. House was super comfortable, cozy watching football and the beds were great. Kitchen was easy to use and super clean! Cant wait to book again for next year ❤️

The home was clean and well appointed. Quiet and relaxing. Two complaints: (1) The driveway entrance has a VERY LARGE AND DEEP water-filled depression, spans the entire driveway. Needs to be filled with gravel! (2) The location is an hour drive from the coast - too far for our interests. Finally a complaint about Maine restaurants in general ... If you want to eat out in a sit-down restaurant on Monday or Tuesday especially and also Wednesday evenings for some, FORGET IT! They're ALL CLOSED - and that includes during PEAK TOURIST SEASON! A truly strange business plan for a state that claims to receive +50% of it's annual income from tourism!

The house, location & lake, were amazing! Perfect for our family. The master bedroom with the balcony was beautiful! I did find it being offered by "Vacasa" difficult. Communication was not as smooth as we've had in the past with Vrbo.

We had a very relaxing and comfortable stay on Moose Pond. The highlight of this home was the covered deck overlooking the lake. It’s situated on the quiet end of the lake, great for kayaking or canoeing, birdwatching and fishing. The kitchen was well stocked although the dishwasher needed some repair. The beds were very comfortable. It is an older home with wood paneling so was dark inside, could use better lighting and there were a number of small repairs that needed maintenance but nothing serious to affect our stay. Generally, it was a very comfortable stay and beautiful location. I would recommend staying here.

Hello,
I was expecting a Maine camp and that is what this was.
However,
The housekeeping and supplies were very poor.
No garbage bags, barely any detergent for dishwasher and washer and nothing to wash dishes with.
Garbage outside not picked up in a long time and litter and broken glass in the yard, which I cleaned.
Not vacuumed and cushions quite dirty.
I expected rustic, but clean rustic.
Your management is not doing well here.

We hated to “va-Moose” from this incredible setting. Two nights not enough. One of the very best provisioned rentals we’ve ever stayed in, not one thing lacking. Clean comfortable and so peaceful including 3 quiet canoeing adventures to observe leaves and shrubs changing color. Please add a guest book so all your Happy Mooseketeers can share their experiences!

The house was cozy and amazing. By day we kayaked and by night we built a fire under the stars. The home was very clean and well stocked. We look forward to our next adventure to the Moose House.

Clean home, quiet neighborhood, relax, fish, kayak, play games or sit by fire. Close to stores or restaurants. Immediate response to any questions we had. We would rent again.

My wife and I had a great time at this lakeside house. Just steps from the water. Fishing was fun. Close to down town but far enough for peace and quiet. Hope to stay here again!

Great home on water.
Would like an earlier check in time, use of grill & premises to be air conditioned if we were to say during summer

Great getaway
This is a really beautiful property. The house itself was very clean and had everything your home away from home would need. The pond has an abundance of wildlife. Canoeing and kayaking were great. Thanks for a great week.

Ski getaway
What a beautiful location! Looking out over the snow covered lake through those big windows in the LR was our favorite place to hang out! And loved the quick drive to Shawnee Peak!!
