Great place to stay! We were within 20 minutes of each ballpark we were playing at. Restaurants were close by but, the area was quiet and spacious. The dog park was so nice to have so my dog could stretch his legs. The person running the apartment was easy to get ahold of and made sure to take care of our needs. We will definitely stay here again.

Overall everything was nice. The house was very clean and accommodating for us. Weren’t impressed with the pool. Cloudy and wasn’t the cleanest.

We all enjoyed it. There were to be four of us but only 3 could make it. We all felt so comfortable the whole time we were there.

This person stole $500 from us. We booked a two bedroom two bathroom apartment for a long term stay in advance of renovating our home and when we arrived our apartment was a one bedroom, one bathroom. We called the property owner who said she had made a mistake and that we had the option to cancel if we wanted. With no notice and no where else to go we agreed to stay until the unit we actually booked was available if we were refunded the difference in price between 1 and 2 bedrooms (which we were told was $500) In doing this “change”the property owner tried to get us to sign a contract outside of VRBO, we said no, likely to avoid paying a fee. This property was dirty (we cleaned on arrival) and full of huge spiders all the time. We ended up canceling and never moving to the 2 bedroom because the owner tried to treat this as two booking vs. one asking us to vacate the 1 bedroom and not giving us immediate access to the 2 bed. As if we could just hang out for 5-6 hours in our car with frig/freezer items and a dog because of her poor planning. This owner juggles property bookings at the expense of others and kept the $500 she agreed to refund us for staying in a 1 bed after paying for a 2 bedroom apt. Do not book or stay here!!!!!

I highly recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in Des Moines. Everything you need is provided in a well kept, clean and comfortable setting. The condo is near shopping for retail, grocery and restaurants. You have everything you need within a mile or so. The beds are comfortable and it’s nice having some separation in the bedroom spaces, especially when traveling with a teen. Awesome stay! We will be back!!!
