Sea Vista Villa is a unique property of St. John. Local artisans pulled out all of the stops on redesigning every detail of this exquisite property. From the hand-crafted stone columns that greet you upon your arrival to this exquisite distinctive escape, to the unparalleled elegance of the graceful cinderella staircase and lighted cobblestone pathways. Welcoming you to your new home away from home. This villa commands unique and astounding over180-degree views over the ocean and mountains of St. John and is one of the few properties that permits both sunrise and sunset views. You can spend hours enjoying the remarkable views. As you drink your morning coffee the sunrise beckons a new and glorious day on your favorite island of St. John and in the evening, the sunset view provides an astonishing backdrop to reminisce on the adventures of the day.
Upon entering the villa, you are met with light and spacious living to be enjoyed in the air-conditioned great room, the patio, or the private pool area while soaking in the sweeping views. The living and dining open up to the expansive pool terrace. A large designer sofa in the great room makes for relaxing and comfortable entertaining. The great room is complete with flat-screen smart TV, WIFI and free high-speed internet.
The fully equipped and recently remodeled kitchen also provides an open atmosphere with a view of the ocean and Fish Bay as well as easy access to the terrace and pool.
This lovely abode boasts three individual air-conditioned en-suites, which also offer views of the colorful landscape, ocean views, flat-screen smart TVs and high-speed internet. Two of the en-suites have their own private pool access.

This property had everything you could want and more. It was stocked with everything we needed including cooking supplies, beach paraphernalia and more. The villa was very clean and had gorgeous views. We were met by Virgil, who told us where to shop for food and then we followed him to the house. So check in went very smoothly. A few things to mention.
1. While we were there, the island was experiencing power failures. This was certainly not the owner’s fault. But it should be noted that the villa had no backup generator. Every two hours the power cut off for two more hours. On for two, off for two. It was difficult when it was off. It was extremely hot, and we were left in the dark. There were two flashlights but we felt there could have been lanterns or something to provide more light.
2. The bathroom in the bedroom off the kitchen was “open air”. It’s stated in the listing but we didn’t know exactly what that meant. It means there are cutouts in the wall of the shower open to the outside. No screens. So bugs could and did come in. Also, the water pressure in that shower was very weak and the water was either cold or scalding.
3. The third bedroom can only be reached from the outside. It had a very musty smell. We didn’t use that room at all so the smell may have cleared up if we had used the air conditioner.
Other than what has been mentioned, we enjoyed our stay. We loved the pool and the outdoor kitchen.

Everyone in our party of 6, loved this house and the view! The home was nicely furnished inside and out. The kitchen had anything you could possibly want. There’s a nice outdoor kitchen, but we did not take advantage of it as much as we should have. The pool was, also, very nice.
With a wonderful view, comes a winding route up to the top of the island. You will definitely want to have a jeep. I would also make your first drive to the house, in the daylight. The roads are definitely memorable! LOL
I would very much recommend this beautiful property.

The home is beautiful but I do want to share a few concerns:
1. On day 4 the house lost power and when it came back on, the treadmill had a code and would not work. On Tues, I messaged the house manager and asked her to come by and bring a screwdriver to fix the problem She said she would be over the next day. She never showed. When I messaged her the next day she said she would be there on Monday. Well we were departing on Sat. She never communicated that she was not coming as promised. I rented the villa because of the gym and the treadmill was a big part of that.
2. On night we ran out of cooking gas while our private chef in the middle of cooking. There was only one gas tank hooked up. When the manager arrived she said the grill valve must have been left on by the prior guests and it happens all the time. Shouldn’t that have been checked before our arrival?
Our dinner was completely ruined and I had To pay the chef extra for his time as he had to stay longer to cook the meal.
3. The shower head in the bedroom on the left side has barely a trickle of water.
4. Be warned…the lower bedroom is basically viewless and only accessible from outside. When you have 3 couples it is unfortunate that one couple has to use the dark, outside access only room.

Our vacation rental experience at the Sea Vista Villa was just incredible. The property was very well kept and updated. From the cleanliness to the manicured landscape it was a first class experience. The communication with the owner and the property manager was helpful and made the check in thru check out process a breeze.

We have been coming to St. John every year for 10 years and this was the best experience we have ever had. The home is immaculate with everything you need and more! The outdoor patio, pool, and grilling area are a huge bonus that really defines this home. The added bonus of a lovely air conditioned gym was perfect for our family who really values working out every day. We had children ages 2-11 and had no problems at all with the outdoor space or infinity pool. It would be very difficult to launch yourself off of the edge and even if you did there are stairs on the other side and not a huge cliff like most homes in St. John. The kids loved the open air bathroom shower which attracts tree frogs and lizards to its bars each night! I have no negatives to write about because this is a one of a kind find on our beautiful island.

This house was perfect for our first trip to St. John. It's located in quiet Fish Bay, but still a quick trip to anywhere on the island. We enjoyed renting a 4x4 jeep to get to all of the beaches on North Shore and Coral Bay. We did go to the Westin twice which was only 5 mins drive to catch 2 excursions with Cruz Bay Watersports (the Night Kayaks and the Pizza Pi Snorkel trip). The house has everything we needed and was very comfortable for 2 adults and our 2 children (8 and 12). The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we could need. Beach towels, chairs, snorkel gear, coolers, etc available for our use. The pool was our favorite way to end the day watching the sunset behind the mountain. Luzmey greeted us at the house and helped answer all of our questions. We hope to return again in the future!

From the adventurous ride in our rented jeep to what feels like the top of the world- Sea Vista Villa did not disappoint. Amazing views. Especially the stars at night. Great location. Wonderful home. Everything you need for the beach, snorkeling, and relaxing ag the pool. The outdoor kitchen is awesome. We cooked and ate in most nights. Owner and property manager were great to work with. Timely communication and great info. We highly recommend this wonderful home and a vacation to ST John. Loved hiking and snorkeling and just spending time together as a family. We had the best stay at Sea Vista Villa, the view is remarkable, the house is the perfect size for a party of 6, it was clean and well kept. Games and books to occupy anytime you may not be at the beach. Cannot wait to go back.

Our family (6 adults, 1 toddler) had a wonderful stay at Sea Vista Villa for a milestone birthday for our father. The views were incredible, including both sunrise and sunset views and gorgeous ocean views. The house had everything we needed for our stay (including everything from many sizes of snorkel gear and beach gear to baby/child items to frozen cups for frozen drinks). The kitchen was well-stocked and all appliances functioned great. We loved the pool and the deck with an outdoor kitchen and plentiful seating (the pool deck area requires very close supervision for young children but our toddler absolutely loved splashing in the pool). Communication with Luzmey was great and the one small issue we had was fixed immediately. We very much appreciated Virgil meeting us upon arrival to show us the way to the house as well since the roads in St John are quite difficult to get used to, particularly in the dark (a Jeep or similar 4x4 vehicle is a must!). All in all, we had a wonderful stay and would love to come back and enthusiastically recommend Sea Vista Villa to others visiting St. John!

The property was awesome. The views were spectacular. Salie and Shannon were awesome. The driveway and roads in general on St. Johns are not for the faint of heart. Recommend a vehicle with tight turning radius. The open air bathrooms in the main level baths were a surprise. Difficult to freshen up when the temp in the bath is the same as the outdoors. Having a light or two on and AC on upon our arrival would have made a great first impression. Fortunately, we returned to town for dinner and groceries while it cooled down and used the pool while the bedrooms cooled down.

Didn’t realize how adventurous the terrain is in St. John! Be ready for twists/turns, bumps and climbing but totally worth it for the view. We had a magical stay!

The pictures don't do the property justice
My family of five (wife, two teenage kids, and sister in law) just spent a week at Sea Vista Villa. We had a great time, and I cannot say enough about the property and the location. The pictures truly don't do justice to this property. For one, the online photos don't reflect recent updates to the indoor kitchen and living area. The owners have also added an outdoor kitchen, complete with a built-in grill, sink, and eating area, all of which are under cover. Cooking dinner was half the fun, and if you like to cook with a gourmet grill and a cold drink in your hand while watching the sun go down over the ocean, this place is for you. The owners are also in the process of renovating a room downstairs for exercise equipment. You should ask them when it will be done. Working out on the island is not terribly convenient.
Secondly, Fish Bay is far enough out of Cruz Bay to be peaceful and quiet, but not so far that you cannot easily run back into town for your afternoon iced coffee or groceries. It's about a 15-20 minute drive to Cruz Bay, about 30-40 minutes or so to the north shore beaches, and about 45 minutes to Rams Head and Salt Pond Beach on the SE side of the island. And finally, not only do you need a rental car, but you need a 4x4 jeep. This is a must. Just getting to this property and up the driveway is no small challenge, let alone getting used to driving on the left hand side of the road or dealing with all the dips, hairpin turns, and steep climbs and descents. Two other minor things that I would mention....guests, including us, will leave certain non-perishable items behind. It's a good idea to check into the property first and take an inventory before going to the grocery store. Also, the 3rd bedroom is downstairs and requires you to go outside and navigate some narrow steps. My 17 year old son was fine with that, but it might be more challenging with a young child, especially at night. All that being said, I would highly, highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again.

Villa in Paradise
We loved staying in Vista Villa in Fish Bay. The surroundings were so peaceful and beautiful. Each room had King beds with ensuites and the beds and sheets were so comfortable. All of the amenities in the house were very nice, and we wanted for nothing even though almost 100% of our meals we cooked for ourselves. So nice that little things like sunscreen and bug spray were there for a backup in case we ran out--which we were very close!! There is a little falcon that perches on the dead branch over the little patio that we saw almost everyday from the shower. Hummingbirds came everyday too. This was our first time ever in the Virgin Islands and we had a super fantastic time. We would most definitely recommend this to our friends and family and would love to stay here again. Sallie was wonderful with communication and follow up. We cannot wait to get back here!!

Great villa, great view, great hosts!
Sea Vista Villa is a great place to stay on St. John. It is spacious, newly renovated, clean and the view is absolutely spectacular with a front row seat to sunrises and sunsets. It is stocked with everything you could possibly need from blenders to beach chairs. The back deck has a pool, a big comfortable table, an outdoor kitchen/bar, lounge chairs and more. The beds were extremely comfortable and had ceiling fans and AC. I would highly recommend staying here. It's worth the extra drive from Cruz Bay to Fish Bay to stay in a big, comfortable oasis like this.
But, the real rock stars are the hosts, Sallie and Jose. They were extremely attentive to all of our needs and questions. When our flight was cancelled, they pulled out all the stops to make another night happen for us even if it meant having to clean the villa themselves. We can't thank them enough for handling every issue that came up.
We will be back!

Paradise found....
This villa was incredible. The pictures are actually out of date as there have been major renovations including the entire kitchen. Once you get used to driving on the island, it is a short drive to Cruz Bay and beaches. Sallie, the property manager, was extremely helpful prior to the trip. She helped coordinate our grocery delivery and met us at the ferry as we arrived on the island. The villa was clean and had unbelievable views. We will be returning in the future to St John and Sea Vista Villa

A beautiful house with a beautiful view!
My family of five absolutely loooved this house! The view makes you think you’ve died and gone to Heaven. The patio is spacious, has a great grill and bar, dinner table with shade, lounge chairs, and the pool is incredible. The kitchen is very well-stocked with every utensil and pot/pan you would ever need, including a Margaritaville margarita maker! The grocery store is close and Cruz Bay is a short drive from the house (10 min?). The mattresses were therapeutic and we slept better than we do at home. There is a storage shed with a lot of chairs with a shade canopy, which we were so happy about! Also, it includes scuba equipment and so we were thrilled about that! Several coolers and inflatables/noodles for swimming were extremely helpful to us. The gardens around the house were so well maintained and the whole scene was gorgeous. The house was very clean and we had no issues with that at all. Communication with the host was excellent. Sallie was extremely responsive and also very helpful. She gave us several tips on how to find sea turtles and some restaurants to hit, and where to go to watch the sunset. We cannot recommend this place enough-you will love it!

My husband and I stayed at the villa during our Thanksgiving trip to the USVI. The villa was beautiful. We spent most of our time enjoying the views from the deck and infinity pool. Our stay at Sea Vista Villa
We had a wonderful stay at the Sea Vista Villa. The manager, Sally, communicated with us continuously from the time we made the reservation. She met us at the car barge and guided us to the villa, which, considering the roads on St. John, was very helpful. The property was exactly how it appeared on the pictures. The view from the terrace and the pool were nothing short of stunning. The location is very private and quiet, yet close to everything. I have already recommended this villa to my relatives and friends and will continue to do so. We hope to be back soon and frequently. Love St. John and Sea Vista Villa!
