Palmetto at Grande Bay is a luxury condo located in the heart of St. John at Cruz Bay. Built in 2008, now with new owners, new updates! Just steps from the passenger ferry, great restaurants, shops and entertainment on St. John. Walk or hike to many of St. John's 37 best beaches. Go snorkeling or diving from any of the nearby dive shops, or charter a boat to visit any of the innumerable reefs, islands, cays, or beaches around the US and British Virgin Islands.

Palmetto at Grande Bay is fully air conditioned with three bedrooms and two full baths. Accommodations include two King beds, two twins convertible to a King, and a Queen foldout couch for a maximum occupancy of 8 adults. The beds have high thread count linens with hypoallergenic mattress covers. All bedrooms have a ceiling fan with overhead lighting, a large closet with a safe, and a tv. The fully equipped kitchen has all stainless appliances, granite counter-tops, and a wrap around bar ledge. There are four counter stools and a 6-8 person glass dining table.

Amazing views from the kitchen, dining area, family room, master bedroom. New family room TV with DVD/iPod/Stereo player. Dine alfresco on the patio/veranda area that is equipped with ceiling fan. The main balcony has a second private entry from the master bedroom via a wrap-around veranda. A second open balcony with tropical island feel is accessed from the 2nd King Guest room. Reserved covered parking spot with elevator access to your condo. The resort includes a beautiful sun deck and pool and with in-pool surround seating and hot tub. Fitness room with TV treadmills, and other workout equipment overlooking Cruz Bay so you can watch boats cruise in and out of the harbor!

On arrival, you will be welcomed at the ferry dock by our greeter who will walk you to the resort, show you the facilities, and get you situated in your condo. Inquire about additional concierge, pre-stocking of food, and other services that are available for an additional charge.

Get ready to look out across the turquoise water, immerse yourself in the dazzling sunshine. During the day, sunbathe on the pool deck just steps from your door, cool off with a refreshing dip in the pool, relax at any of the many beaches, or go hiking or exploring into the unspoiled National Park that covers 2/3 of the island. At nighttime, take an easy walk to any of the many bars and restaurants, shop for island jewelry, or seek a little more action in the nearby casino. Then, just a short evening stroll back to Palmetto at Grande Bay!

The view was great, the condo was in a perfect location right in Cruz Bay. A Jeep is a must if you are going to visit the beaches. The staff were very attentive, texting weeks before check in to see if we had any questions and checked several times while we were in St. John to see if we needed anything. Plenty of towels, pillows. Everything you need for an excellent vacation!

Overall, the stay was amazing. The condo was well stocked and very clean. The unit came with plenty of beach chairs, coolers, etc. The views were incredible. The listing showed a room with 2 twin beds and ended up being all kings. This worked for our family, just a heads up for other renters if the listing is not updated.

This property communicates with you before you even pack your bag. Very friendly staff. We walked to the condo from the ferry dock by weaving in/out of businesses along the beach but we only had one rollin suitcase each so it was easy. The condo itself was exactly like the pictures. All beds were comfy, the A/C works great, there are cooler bags and beach chairs for use, the pool was fantastic, and this property has a generator! Please know that there are DAILY OUTAGES on St. John. It will affect businesses and restaurants will close randomly. This condo will always have A/C and lights. I recommend going to StarFish Market and getting your groceries for the week and if renting a jeep, Island Hopping Rentals brought the jeep to our parking space and picked it up there too. You don't need a vehicle, but we enjoyed having the freedom to go without waiting for the taxi's. Oppenheimer and Waterlemon were our faves for snorkeling! I will rebook this spot on my return. I had zero issues.

We loved our stay at Palmetto at Grande Bay. The place was very spacious and clean. It’s conveniently located to walk to restaurants, the ferry and the taxis to the beaches. The covered porches were amazing in the AM and winding down on the PM. Would definitely stay again!

This condo was so well stocked. I packed extra kitchen necessities because every other time I have rented in Grande Bay, I would have to buy on island. Palmetto had extra toilet paper, paper towels. It had dishwash soap, spices lots of things you don't think of bringing. I have an Oceanfront VRBO myself and I stock it with convivence items also. I was overjoyed when we checked in and this condo had all the thoughtful extras. This was my 3rd trip to St John and this is by far the best condo Ive stayed in. I will be back.

My family and our children’s friends came to the Island for some snorkeling and beach enjoyment. We were a group of 7. Location was perfect for everyone to walk into Cruz Bay for dinner and cocktails. It was close enough to go back and forth easily. The condo was very clean and comfortable.

The house was super clean, well organized, beautiful and well equipped. I especially liked the layout of the house. big entrance and a Master bed room is separated from the other two rooms so we can have more privacy. such a beautiful place and living and kitchen area is large so 5 of us gathered every night. Balcony was a bit smaller for 5. It would be nice if they provide extra towels. other than that we defiantly come back next year and stay here.

Can’t say enough great things about this stay! First we came a day early due to a pending hurricane, yes we’d rather be on the island in a hurricane than sitting at an airport. Jim and Sue were able to accommodate last minute and let us in a night early. Rachelle was in touch the entire time! Prime location and a beautiful condo. We all had our own space, not cramped at all. Kitchen was great! Having laundry was a huge bonus. Pool and jacuzzi were open late and super clean. The view from the wrap around deck were spectacular. Everything about the set up was perfect for our family! We will most definitely stay here again!

This is our 2nd stay at this 3 bedroom/2 bath condo. It fit our needs perfectly. Having a assigned parking spot and locker storage with beach gear was a great help. The kitchen had all of the pans and dishes we needed. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to stay in Cruz Bay and walking distance to restaurants, bars, shopping and the ferry.

This condo was just perfect for our family vacation. The view from balcony was great, overlooking Cruz Bay and out over St Thomas. Well equipped kitchen with blender and all the cooking tools we needed. We used the electric grill out on balcony for steaks, burgers and hotdogs. Beds were comfortable and washer & dryer kept our provided beach towels clean. Being so close to town and all the bars and restaurants was a plus. We used the beach chairs and coolers for our beach adventures. We rented a car for part of the week going to beaches and up to Windmill Bar for sunset. Parking is tight in the garage but manageable. Hoping to come back to Palmetto at Grande Bay ….it was awesome!

This property was perfect for our family of five. The condo is spacious and has everything you need for your stay. Each morning when we woke and evening after a day at the beach we'd sit out on the terrace and take in the amazing view. Not having a car the location was ideal as it was a quick walk from the ferry and even shorter to restaurants and taxis. A parking spot is available if you do rent a jeep. We had such a great time and enjoyed our stay at Palmetto that we have already planned a return trip later this year.

We stayed with our 3 adult children and thoroughly enjoyed the wonderful amenities including the beach chairs, coolers and a wonderful kitchen (missing a can opener but otherwise all needed items for cooking amazing meals). This was our second stay in Jim's condo and we would definitely return. Such an easy walk to town. The parking spot is a bit tricky but gets easier with each try. Highly recommend!

This was our 10th trip to STJ. Historically, we’ve rented villas, but this was our second time staying at Grande Bay. This unit is very well appointed, comfortable, and located in a very convenient location. Parking in Cruz Bay is notoriously awful. Having underground, assigned parking at Grande Bay is ideal. All restaurants, bars, and shops are a very easy walk from Grande Bay. The view of Cruz Bay from the balcony is great (only partly obscured by the lower building). We enjoyed sitting outside in the mornings and evenings. Communication with the owner and management company was excellent. Looking forward to the next trip!

My husband and I stayed here with our kids (ages 3 and 6) and their grandparents - everyone enjoyed this lovely property. Was exactly as advertised. Easy to find, easy to check in, incredible view from the private balcony! Very well-stocked for preparing meals and enjoying the beach. Close to restaurants and quick and easy to catch a taxi. Pool was great. Property manager was comminicative and helpful. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. My only word of caution is that the parking spot assigned to this unit is extremely tight for a longer vehicle. We had a minivan (which was not a good choice for other reasons!), and it was challenging to get in and out of the space. Would not be as much of an issue with a slightly smaller vehicle.

The location was perfect with stunning views of Cruz Bay. Just a few minutes walk and you're at Beach Bar or Woody's. The property was the perfect size for our family of 5. The only tricky thing was parking the jeep in that tight spot but there's nothing that can be done to resolve that. Overall, a great stay and will definitely be back!

We had a great time in St.John. The villa was exactly as described. We loved that it was within walking distance of restaurants etc. The property manager was very responsive with all our questions. We would definitely recommend this property.

Great unit, very large and spacious as we had two couples staying there and there was a 3rd bedroom as well if needed. Check in was easy, communication was excellent and the unit itself was super clean, had everything we needed and was just great. You will enjoy your stay here.

I almost don't want to write this review because I don't want anyone else to know about this amazing condo! I've been to St. John many times but this was my fiancee and our friends first time. I previously normally stayed at Lavender Hill (the property next to this one with the purple roof) and while that is very good, this unit and overall property is exceptional! We will definitely be staying here the next time we are in St. John! Also, the owner is kind, thoughtful and very quick to respond, the property manager (Adrienne) is very helpful and ensures you have a great stay and the front desk employee named Cynthia is one of the kindest people we have ever met! My fiancee went down to talk to her almost every morning and always came back talking about how nice Cynthia is. The condo is clean, comfortable, has an amazing view of Cruz Bay and has everything you may need, including a locker that has floaties and beach chairs.

The unit had everything that we needed for hitting the beaches in the garage locker and plenty of coolers. Kitchen has everything you need; just have to hit the grocery store. Parking is included for the beach trips but walked everywhere else in town in a couple of minutes. Definitely a redo.

This condo’s location was right in the heart of Cruz bay and you could walk to shops, restaurants and taxis. It was very well appointed and had plenty of room for us all. My only complaint was there wasn’t enough pots and pans to cook for our crew.

Love the proximity to Cruz Bay, especially since we were traveling with a baby. We used Landlubbers to stock the house with essentials and we were good to go! Used taxis to go to the beaches- Hawksnest, Trunk, Cinnamon, Gibney- (not Coral Bay side since we had a baby and tried to stay close). Good experience!

We loved this property. The views are perfection. The location is the best because there is zero parking in the town, so we can walk everywhere within 5 minutes and no hills! Great AC in the unit, too. We enjoyed the pool and the exercise room. The free morning coffee was a bonus. This was a 2 stay prep for our 7 day BVI catamaran Tour. Great way to start!

Perfect location, perfect amenities, and absolutely perfect views! Our favorite parts were eating breakfast on the balcony while watching the various boats come in and watching the sunset each evening over St Thomas. You will not regret booking this perfect condo!
