Areli did a wonderful job welcoming us and had the house clean. House has all the amenities you could want. Everything worked well. The property had mango trees and a barbecue area along the river.
Marlon Who takes care of the property and grounds is very likable and did a wonderful job.
Thank you, everyone!!

The house was beautiful and comfortable. It was nice to have a large yard with flowers and trees and the river for the kids to swim in. We were outside of town, but not too far that the drive was long. We enjoyed our stay here very much. I would suggest texting the host when you are headed that way, so that you can verify the check in process with their schedule that day.

It wouldn't be a completely honest review if I didn't acknowledge that check-in did not go as planned. Apparently there was a miscommunication between the owner and property managers regarding what day we were arriving, so there was no one to meet us at the property to provide us access as our VRBO email stated there would be. After about 40 minutes of waiting and wandering around the property wondering if we were missing something we had to travel down the road to rely on the hospitality of someone else's Wifi (as the Wifi password listed on our VRBO access email was also incorrect) to send a message to the property managers. The property managers quickly responded and arrived in short order, but it admittedly was not the best way to start our trip, especially after a red eye flight and subsequent long travel day.
This problem could easily be corrected for future guests by simply providing the home's digital access code in the "here's your key" VRBO email and updating the Wifi information in the email to be accurate as well.
What I will say is that after our check-in problem was resolved we had a lovely 5 star stay. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and maintained, the kitchen is equipped with absolutely every cooking amenity you might need, as well as the home itself is a modern and nicely cared for property. Our family loved swimming in the river, the resident iguanas, and drinking from the fresh coconuts provided by the caretaker, Marlon, who was always great.

Our family stayed at Aliana’s for 5 nights this week, at the end of February. We chose it because it looked like a quiet and secluded spot, away from all the hustle of San Ignacio. True to the description, the compound (there are three homes on the property) is nestled in the village of Bullet Tree Falls, but still very close to San Ignacio. We had a car, so the distance wasn’t a worry. The grounds were immaculate, with trees and flowers and a river nearby. The home had everything we needed for the week, AC worked great and so did the WiFi, for my husband to be able to check in at work. There was a washer and dryer, which is great and the kitchen was fully stacked. Marlon, who is the caretaker, is so kind and helpful. Beautiful place, thank you for having us!

Beautiful property and house. Roberto, the groundskeeper, was a great help and helped us pick mangos and coconuts.

THIS was the most wonderful property I have stayed in in all my travels. Not only were the hosts wonderful folks, and the caretaker a wonderful man, but the house and the property meticulous, thoughtful, serene, and a class act. I really can't say enough about how great this property was. I enjoyed every minute of my stay. In fact, I will be returning soon. This is the ultimate Belize experience.
