A delightful and cozy retreat in a lovely residential area, with a short walk to Sunset Park, shops, the waterfront, and restaurants. Nicely appointed and perfect for a quiet stay in Door County.

The Cherry Pit was delightful, and we really enjoyed our stay! Had a slight hiccup in the automated check-in process where the email with the access codes didn't send, but Ben was quick to remedy and even offered a partial refund for the inconvenience. I wouldn't hesitate in the future to book with any of Wander Door County's properties

My wife and our small dog stayed at the Cherry Pit 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. The house was just the right size for us and had a big backyard for our dog to explore.
The house had everything one could possibly want and then some. It looked brand new even though the house was older. The hosts did a fantastic job in decorating and making sure guests would be very comfortable.
The house was so convenient to the town which had great restaurants and shopping. Getting around Door County was a breeze from our location as well.
By all means, try Cedar Crossing Restaurant and bar in Sturgeon Bay. It had a great menu, chef and servers. We discovered it our first night and went there 3 more times because it was so good!
Thank you to our hosts at the Cherry Pit for being so helpful and friendly!

The location was perfect for our introduction to Sturgeon Bay and Door County. Walkable neighborhoods for our dog and close to Sunset Park for water views.

It is great house in a very convenient location, two complaints are that the living room furniture is extremely uncomfort I had to use a folding bag chair all week because it was more comfortable and after calling home owner the morning of reservation to get instructions on how to get in house he said he would text me door code, got there at 6:00 pm had to call again still hadn't gotten code. They also scheduled gas company to replace gas regulator during our stay and didn't let us know. Other than that it was a newly remodeled house in a great in town location and supply you with most everything you need.

Great stay as always
My husband, dog, and I have stayed here twice now and both times have been wonderful. The place is clean, tidy, and feels homey. We were welcomed with drinks and handwritten card. It's located conveniently to restaurants, groceries, and shops. Also a good location for easy access to a lot of the state parks further up the peninsula. We would love to stay here again on future trips to Door County.

Great little 2br/1bath spot
Really enjoyed our stay in this cute little house in Sturgeon Bay. Walking distance to third Street shops and nearby cafés. Owner was easy to deal with and helpful. Super clean. Laundry in basement was great. Only tiny negative is that the bathroom is small and there is no counter space to spread out travel gear. Overall a fabulous stay
