This house was perfect for two couples. The pier behind the home was perfect for enjoying a meal outdoors followed by star gazing. Ann was a lovely hostess who greeted us and gave great restaurant suggestions. We will return!

Super cute little bungalow on the lagoon. Loads of fish and birds and turtles to watch. Fire out out back was a nice touch. There is a little wood stand down the road about 30 seconds you can buy from. Very clean and very walkable to town. It was a nice 30 minute walk.

The host was wonderful. Place was great. We will stay here again. We highly recommend.

Ann was a great host. She gave us suggestions where to eat and things to see. Great location. Close to everything. We had a blast.

Yes, it feels cabin-y and rustic. But it was perfect for our group of 4. Just a short walk to the local beach. A/C worked great. Beds fine. Sitting on the dock was peaceful. Better than I thought it would be, really.

We had so much fun staying at this bungalow! The location is amazing and Ann is a great host. Would definitely stay here again!

The cottage is great. Fully equipped with everything you can think of. We met the owner at check-in when she met us there. She gave us a quick tour and offered suggestions about things to see and do in Door County. She texted us a couple times during our stay just to make sure we were doing OK. The table and chairs on the pier at the water were our favorite spot. The whole stay was relaxing. We will definitely be back!

Great weekend stay, loved the location and accommodation. What a fantastic host too! Only thing id recommend is maybe a new mattress. It was a bit too uneven for us. We felt like we were sliding off. Seemed a little too uncomfortable for our liking but we loved it otherwise.

Looking for a great little bungalow right in the heart of Sturgeon Bay? This is it! Came to town to run the Fall 50 and stayed here and it was as perfect as we could have hoped. If you want the Ritz Carlton, take your money bags elsewhere. You want a cozy spot, close to everything, with a great host…this is your Spot. Ann made sure everything was perfect for us starting with check in all the way through check out.
Can’t wait to come back and stay again!

Check in and check out process was very good. Clean and cozy. Great bay side location. This is a great place to stay while exploring Door County.

This property was very clean, quaint, and the location is beautiful. The owner provided all the necessities and a well stocked kitchen. We brought our boat and the pier was excellent. We spent alot of time at the table on the pier. The boat launch is a very short distance to the property, easy in and out.

My college aged son and I traveled to Sturgeon Bay to fish on the bay. We loved the 2 bedroom house. Perfect for us. Very comfortable and clean.

This house was absolutely perfect for our family of 3! Having a toddler, it's a pain to load up the car everytime you want to go somewhere, but we were within walking distance of the beach and restaurants. Ann was absolutely amazing and was so easy to work with. She was very kind and made sure our stay was perfect. We would definitely stay here again!

The bungalow was very clean and comfortable. Sitting on the dock in the mornings was very relaxing. Although we did not utilize anything but the coffee pot it seemed everything was there if we needed. The host Ann was very nice to talk to. We did not meet as we were never there during the day. If we go back to Sturgeon Bay we would stay again.

Property is a simple but comfortable small house, making a lovely stay for a small family like ours. Location is fantastic, directly adjacent to Sunset Park (swimming beach, boat launch, playground, sport courts, benches, fireworks!) and less than a mile from the center of town. Easy to get everywhere, including into town and further North. Kitchen is well-stocked with dishes, pans and cooking utensils. Overall a great place to base a Door County adventure!

The house and dock gave us a very comfortable stay......house and beds were very comfortable.....2 guys slept in bedrooms, I slept on couch.....best couch I've slept on!!! Having the dock alongside the house was fantastic. We fished the big lake so it took us an hour to reach the Coast Guard Station at the shoreline; which was a little on the long side. The house is located on the north end of the canal so it would have been perfect if we were fishing the bay of Green Bay. Our host Ann, was very helpful and gracious.....she jumped through hoops to accommodate us!!!!

My wife and I spent a week in the cottage. It's not perfect, the wallpaper needs to be replaced...the restroom layout is very tight (your knees are under the sink if you sit on the toilet), and no GFCI outlets in kitchen or bath. That being said...most of this is about your own expectations. The place was pretty clean, everything worked, the bed was super comfortable, and the kitchen was well outfitted. If you are looking for something brand new with the latest of everything...you will be disappointed. If you are looking for something clean and comfortable in a great location...you will be very happy. Ann was great and was more than willing to give local recommendations and talk about the area! Fishing from the dock out back was fun and watching the deer, fish, and birds with our morning coffee was very relaxing.

This property welcomed us for our first time in Wisconsin! The backyard is AMAZING. We spent lots of time there. About a 10-15 minute walk to downtown. Ann (host) is about the nicest person I have ever met and genuinely wanted us to enjoy our stay. Short and easy drive to the rest of door county. I would recommend this property!

Really enjoyed our stay in Door County. The home was in a perfect location to explore the whole area. Able to visit Fish Creek, Egg Harbor, Washington Island and Sister Bay (don't miss the goats), all within an hours drive. The house had everything we needed and plenty of space for the 2 of us. Bathroom had an unusual lay out, put we managed. Bed was comfortable and everything was clean. Great park near by for walks and to enjoy the sunset. Did some fishing from the dock but the evenings were pretty chilling and windy, so we did not use the fire ring. We had an opportunity to meet Ann, and she was pleasant and very concerned that we had everything to make our stay a great experience. Would stay in this home again if we ever make it back to Sturgeon Bay.

Good: location is great, quite neighborhood, right on the water, nicely stocked kitchen, close to downtown
Bad: smaller than appears in pictures, when you use the toilet you have to be careful because the sink is literally inches from you, rust around drains and the light fixtures in the bathroom, no where to put clothing in second bedroom.
Ugly: moldy smell in the house, worse in the main bedroom (despite an air purifier in the room), Damp-Rid (10) scattered throughout the house and almost full, general moist feeling in the house(our clothes that were out of the suitcase were damp by morning), uneven floor, sagging ceiling, peeling wallpaper, power cord would fall out of some power sockets, no GFI by sink in bathroom. No instruction given on the Mitsubishi Cooling system(told to read the instruction booklet on the table if have questions)
We chose to terminate our stay as felt these were big concerns for us and not fixable in the time frame of our stay. Only writing this review so that others can be aware of how "rustic" this place is

We were at the base of Door County. We biked to Egg Harbor. We toured a lot of Door County’s sights by car and enjoyed the beautiful sunset from the beach and park a short walk away.

Going to Door County is all about going, so you are not in a rental too much. We found this place on a lagoon so if you are a kayaker or paddle board fan, it’s very nice. We had a one year old with us so when she is very loud it’s not a problem in a small house. The lady renting is so friendly and helpful. We had a nice fire in the fire pit every night except one when it rained. It’s a small older home but clean and affordable.

Peaceful Retreat
We especially enjoyed sitting on the dock mornings and by the fire pit in the evenings. Very nice location in Sturgeon Bay and easy access to visit attractions.
Ann greeted us, shared local places to visit and checked in to see if we needed anything by text. This older home met our needs for two couples and amenities matched description. Mattresses are very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay.

Couples getaway
My husband and I chose this place for the location and that it had a dock for our boat. Perfect size for the two of us and Ann, the owner, was great. Everything was clean and in order. Sunset park was right there and it was about a 15 minute walk to downtown Sturgeon Bay. Great home base for fishing or traveling up the rest of the Door.

Perfect Relaxing Location
We had the best stay as a family of 4 with a 3 year old and 6 week old. The location is so close to the downtown amenities and the dock on the water was perfect for my 3 year old to fish from. The access to the water was quick and easy with a boat launch at the park next door. We will definitely be back to this VRBO. Ann is wonderful and caring. 5 stars!

Lagoon Bungalow in June
We had a wonderful stay in Sturgeon Bay! The water access in the backyard, the views of Lake Michigan, and the close proximety to a great park to watch the sunsets proved to be our favorite parts! Ann was a wonderful host and did everything she could to ensure a pleasant stay!

Perfect location
This was the perfect home-base. We have family in the area and this was a great location. Loved the deck and the very short walk to the bay and the park. Would stay again! It was great having a full kitchen and laundry especially during this time of covid.
