About this cabin rental

Pioneer Cabin is a historic cabin which was relocated from the Holy Ghost Lutheran Church property in 2018. The cozy cabin accommodates 2 people comfortably with a queen size bed, a large bathroom and a nicely stocked kitchenette with microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator and toaster oven. The cabin is decorated with period antiques while providing all the modern comforts. Wi-fi and a streaming TV are provided inside for staying in touch with the world. The outdoor firepit, patio seating and grill allow for enjoying the private yard space. The property is directly across the street from the Pioneer Museum and also across the street from St. Mary's Catholic Church making it very convenient for anyone attending events at either of these popular destinations. Pioneer Cabin is very walkable to all of Main Street with a myriad of restaurants, shops and event venues. One block to Main Street means you can park your car on property and never have to look for a parking space in town! Have dinner at one of the many restaurants and enjoy an easy stroll home.

The entire process was super easy. The owner was quick to respond when I had a user error trying the door lock. She even offered to FaceTime with me to go over the instructions. The cabin is awesome, super clean, and well prepared for our weekend stay. The owner displays cabin history book which is really cool information. We will definitely book again on our next visit. I would recommend this cabin to any couple interested in visiitng Fredericksburg it is a block off the main street and convenient to most everything to might want to visit.

My wife & I recently stayed here, and it was definitely “as advertised”. The cabin was well furnished, rustic, private & just a short walk to W Main St. The owner was very responsive & helped us gain entry remotely due to our late arrival. Definitely recommend!

Cabin was so cute, private, clean! ! Location was close to Main St. Will definitely return! Property Manager was over the top helpful. I forgot 2 things in the cabin and she mailed to me! Impressive!!!!

It was a nice little cabin from the 19th century but with all the normal amenities of modern life (eg A/C, running water, etc). It was walking distance from stores, museums and restaurants. It ended up being perfect for our trip!

Very nice cabin. We enjoyed our stay. The place was very clean, cozy, bed was comfy, and loved the decor. The host was available if needed as the video to know how to unlock and lock the door was perfect. I have recommended it to friends.

We loved our stay at the cabin. Other reviews have mentioned it sits behind another property. That's true but Cindy gave us such complete directions and instructions it was never a problem. The location also eliminates street noise (not that there's much) and makes the property feel cozy. Everything has been so well thought through. The cabin is full of antiques that are beautifully perfect for the space. We were there 3 days and every day coming back felt like a hug. It's so cozy and so comfortable. It's also a fairly easy walk to all the shops and restaurants - we walked it daily and were grateful we didn't have to try and find a parking place downtown.

Very nice and quiet. Only very minor issue was, I recommend that you please replace/descale Coffee pot. It gives about half a pod and quits. Very convenient.

This is a hidden gem! We absolutely loved it! Wonderfully decorated, with old world charm but modern conveniences. Comfortable in every way and very clean. Short walk to everything on Main St. We can’t wait to come back and stay again!

My husband and I had a great stay here at this cute little cabin. It was clean and comfy! The antique furnishings was so neat and fit together perfectly. The only wish I had would be for a bathtub or hot tub but that is just because I was so relaxed here I wanted to relax some more! Lol. Great stay! We will for sure stay here again on our next trip to Fredericksburg.

If you stay, read the history that the host has in the cabin. It's an amazing account of the original settlers. Very private, no noise. Internet is great and not satellite. T-Mobile hotspot had 5 bars 145 down 30/40 up. Will definitely stay again.

My husband and I stayed in the cabin for our Anniversary trip. Our hostess went above and beyond to make our stay so comfortable. The cabin is ABSOLUTELY PERFECT for two adults!! It is spotless and well thought out. You have everything you need inside the cabin. And it is so close to Main Street that we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. I cannot say enough good things about our stay at this property!! We will definitely be returning!!

My wife and I ended up having an open house scheduled for the weekend, and we were looking for a last minute unique spot in Fredericksburg to stay. This little cabin is definitely unique, great location, friendly management, and a very interesting history of the cabin that we were able to read. If you want a rustic (yet updated with modern conveniences), quiet, and romantic getaway in Fredericksburg I highly recommend this cabin!

Everything was just perfect, from the size, location, comfortable bed, delightful atmosphere! Communication was spot on and we got a lot of recommendations on where to eat and sip on wine. We will definitely be back and will recommend to our family and friends. This cute cabin is a great find - don’t pass it up!

My birthday weekend getaway was perfect. This adorable cottage was within walking distance to everything. Plenty of street parking if needed. It’s nice and private on a back lot behind the main house. Communication with the owner was easy. The furnishings are all antique items. We used google item lookup to find out what they were all used for. Really nice and convenient.

Pioneer cabin fit our needs perfectly. Decorated just like a pioneer cabin! My wife and I are foodies and we hit most the restaurants the host suggested and did not miss a stove at all! We did the enchanted rock park, walks in the morning, wine tours during the day, bottle of wine in the evenings around the camp fire ring in the yard. Never turned the TV on once. Walking distance to all of Fredricksburg. Would like to also suggest Jacks chophouse (spendy but delicious!)

This was a Christmas gift that I helped my father-in-law book for him and his wife. It was the perfect getaway for them and the first one in over 30 years for just the two of them.
