Amazing beautiful surroundings

Lovely garden space with hot tub. For an old property the heating was set to a good level and maintained our comfort throughout our stay. Beds comfy, kitchen well equipped, 2 powerful shower rooms.
3 toilets. Nice games room with darts and table football. Library of books with some games. Ideal for a family. Great location.
One shower tray had a perished seal which resulted in evidence of a trickle of water ingress into lounge wall below.
Rear patio doors from kitchen had a very tempremental lock, difficult to lock at times, so we avoided using it. We used other exit to patio from the games room.

Location
Facilities were very clean and homely
The WiFi is very poor on the TV
There were great options for Netflix and other apps but sadly there were previous occupiers who had signed in and not signed out and so it was very difficult to use but for those we did use the WiFi was very very poor - this should be fixed

The concept of the property was amazing - such a cool space. Really big inside and out, lovely hot tub and outdoor seating. Unfortunately the midges spoilt it for us :( we had everything we needed.
Overall, the property lacked a bit of love from the owners. It would have appreciated a lick of paint, a few quick fixes such as chair legs, the kitchen needed some attention (we had to defrost the freezer as it was unusable). It is such a shame because this property could be 10/10 with some love and care. Also, the pond does have fish in - although it seems that they have been forgotten about :(

Fantastic location, amazing grounds surroundings buildings with a short walk to some amazing walks
Nowhere is the description did it mention the owners were going to be having a holiday beside us in a garage around 2m away from this properties lovely terrace kind of killed the vibe and felt like a breach of privacy. They were having some works and honestly weren’t apologetic at all. We even asked for an extra hr before check out as the tea room didn’t open for an further hr (which they were obviously going to stay at the properly)
It was actually quite frustrating

The Chapel was wonderful. Beautiful location and great facilities.
The Hot tub wasn't heating up which was very disappointing but the host kindly gave us a partial refund.

The location is great for walking, being at the foot of Pen Y Fan horseshoe walk. the house has lovely architectural features and is well equipped. We were a group of 6 and the house was plenty big enough.
Only 3 logs was a bit mean given the price of it. It's a small thing but it meant that we had to go and buy logs on Sat night and given how remote the house is, that was annoying.

We loved the quiet location and the luxurious feel to the rooms. The hot tub was incredible and we made good use of it. We'll equipped and plenty of space.
It would have been nice to have a second king size bed rather than a double. There were 6 of us staying. My husband and I, our son and his wife and 2 other adult children who shared the single bedded room. The double and the 2 single beds were comfortable but now quite wide enough.

The chapel was in a gorgeous, somewhat remote location but perfect for our weekend away. The property was large but comfortable and the log burner in the lounge made a comfy addition. The outdoor patio area and garden were great, the fire pit and hot tub were ideal for relaxing. The kitchen was well equipped as was the games room. The beds were very comfy and made for a good nights sleep.
The reservoir is within easy walking distance. If walking to the villiage, I would recommend doing this earlier in the day to ensure there is enough daylight for a safe return journey.
It was great that there was a supply of logs and firelighters to get our first nights fire started. It may be beneficial to supply either a box of matches / lighter to enable the fire to be lit. Not a negative for us as we had a lighter with us but maybe something to consider for future guests. A torch could also be beneficial.
Not really a negative but something to consider ... Be careful when in the patio area, I slipped on wet leaves on our last morning while tidying the firepit. It may be an idea for the patio area to be swept of any wet leaves in between guests departing and arriving.
