Fabulous, great location. Excellent transport links. Restaurants, shops and the best beach within a short walk.

Beautiful properties. Modern, clean and fantastic facilities. Location is excellent The bars, restaurants and locals were wonderful. Chryssa was a brilliant host. Great communication, left us with essentials to get started and even Wine, snacks and local specialty cake. Not all hosts are this generous. Highly recommend it.

Nothing really. Pool is smaller than expected. But would be great for young children. Also owner is planning on upgrading to heated pool.

Perfect villa for a lovely holiday in Crete, quiet location and easy walk to Agia Marina area.

Christa the owner was extremely helpful before and during the holiday. Modern Villa with all the facilities, air conditioning, own parking, nice garden, lovely pool, full kitchen and BBQ should you want to cook. Location is perfect, taverna, shop and bar all within 100 metres, but a quiet residential area. 10 minute walk to a larger choice of tavernas/bars and 15 minute walk to the shops/beach. 40 minute drive from Chania airport.

It was the perfect way to immerse ourselves in a Greek neighborhood.

We liked the neighborhood and the modern, clean house. We had a rental car so it was easy to get around. The house was perfect for our family. Very nicely maintained.

Adorable villa with very kind and helpful host

the host has been very friendly, welcoming and flexible from the start. everything was just perfect at the villa, the amenities were nice. the rooms are well decorated. kitchen fully furnished. everything super clean. nice pool, lots of tables, chairs. we were 9 and we all loved it!!

the only thing is that there is no public transportation to get to villa but it is an easy drive from agia marina or chania. taxis are cheap.

Best vacation we have ever had!

We want to express deepest gratitude for the incredible hospitality and warmth offered during our visit. Our time in Villa Vanka was amazing. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with the kindest reception. Our host, Chrisa, was very friendly and always ready to lend a helping hand. Whether it was recommending the best local attractions or providing directions, her assistance was valuable and greatly enhanced our experience. The accommodation we stayed in was truly exceptional. The house was not only beautiful but also impeccably maintained, offering us a comfortable and luxurious retreat. Every detail was carefully thought out, and we felt right at home from the moment we stepped through the door. As we reflect on our time spent in villa, we cannot help but yearn to return. We had the best vacation we have ever had, and we cannot imagine a more idyllic destination for great vacation.

Exceptional

The houses are wonderful and we had a great stay. The host was super friendly and welcomed us with super good energy and some delights! The location is perfect, next to Chania, during this season the surrounding was very calm. We were with a bus traveling a lot around the island, so we didn't go to the beach near the village. There is parking slot in front of the house. From this location you can easily reach the nice beaches on the west part of the island. Each of the houses has a two bedrooms upstairs (a double-bed-bedroom and a room with two single beds), and a living room with a kitchen downstairs. There are balconies towards the pool from the bedrooms and a nice ground-floor terrace looking to the green hills. There is a bathroom on each floor with flush-to-floor showers, also two washing machines. The two part of the house/two houses can be locked separately. The host said that they are been rented only together. All in all a great stay and we would love to come again!

Wonderful stay at beautiful Villa Vanka.

Very well equipped beautiful villa with a private pool and a small garden. Super clean and well maintained house and garden. Good location next to nice taverna and a mini-market plus many other restaurants in a short walking distance and less than 1 km to the beach. We were very warmly welcomed by our host with fruits, cake, wine and raki. All and all fantastic stay at Villa Vanka.

Beautiful Clean Large Villa in a Perfect Location and Perfect Host, MUST STAY for all groups of families or friends!

The villa is beautiful inside and out, incredibly clean and heaping with extras to meet every need we had - it was very spacious, every room was equipped with thoughtful amenities including adaptors, blenders, coffee frothers etc. The host, Chryssa was equally brilliant and made sure we were well looked after and went to extra lengths to make sure every need was met - it really made the trip amazing for each and everyone of us and not a single complaint was made and particularly as we could text her anytime for any issue or questions we had - she arranged boat trips, taxis everything to make the trip more enjoyable. The location of the villa is perfect, a very short walk away from the main strip and the beautiful beach - right next to the villa is an incredible authentic Greek restaurant which had the best food we have had. The villa itself is so brilliantly designed with a modern capability which retains coolness throughout night and day so you never feel hot and also the old style brickworks within each room, the showers are waterfall and I could have spent hours in them - the pool is larger than the pictures show and fit all 9 of us with plenty of space and there is also a brand new gas BBQ which is perfect for large BBQs, and you are able to get basic ingredients from the shop opposite the villa! If a very fussy group of 9 people can be pleased then it shows the beauty of the villa and the incredible hosting skills we were shown all week.

Beautiful spacious villa. Pool was beautiful. Great value. Nice neighbourhood. Host was gracious.

The house was spacious. We were two couples. We had an entire side of the villa to ourselves and our friends had their own side. All the amenities were there. The pool was beautiful.

More instructions in the house manual eg. How to use the appliances. Bring beach towels. Caution. One side controls the wifi.
