The area is stunning with so many interesting things to do and see. The farm itself is delightful- the animals are well loved and adorable, the accommodation is cosy and comfortable, with so many caring personal touches. Breakfast was absolutely amazing, with fresh pastries and bread, fresh milk and yoghurt from the farm next door, organic fruit, local jam and honey, and home made crepes if we wanted. Hosts Lucie and Renaud are the most beautiful and interesting people you could ever meet. We managed with a mix of French and English to get by, and really felt welcomed into their home. Nothing was too much effort and they treated our children as if they were their own. Our teen/tween boys said this was their favourite place on our entire trip to Europe. I cannot recommend Petites Oreilles highly enough.
I have nothing negative to say except we wanted to stay longer! Just be sure to take some farm clothes and shoes- if you participate in farm activities you will get dirty. You definitely need a car for this area, so many stunning places to visit and things to do but you will need your own transport.

Lucie and Rahno are excellent hosts.
Their farm is a little gem , a little oasis to return to after a busy day. We loved the pool which we often had to ourselves.
Our room was very tastefully decorated and comfortable.
Fresh local produce for breakfast.
We would highly recommend.
We don’t have anything negative to say about our stay.

Ferme des petites Oreilles was fantastic, really idyllic. Lovely ancient building, even lovelier people and animals, great countryside and pool, near Montignac. Superb!

This was an amazing experience! A beautiful farm a short drive from Lascaux and Montignac. The animals relaxed and are lovingly cared for - not raised for eating. We held baby goats who had just been born, took a lovely walk up the hill to a historic cave with the four friendly dogs who showed us the way, and were greeted by chickens, geese, swans and ponies in the morning. The upstairs room was luxurious and big enough for a family. The pool was beautiful, and the outdoors breakfast was a stunning array of local milk, eggs, yogurt, breads, croissants, homemade jams, and fresh squeezed juice. And what a welcoming family! We hope they will visit us someday. And we hope to be back soon. We are recommending this farm of the little ears to all our friends!
nothing, it is one of the best places we have ever stayed!

This place is magical! Pastoral setting, beautiful room, wonderful breakfast. Lucie and Rahno are delightful people and gracious. We loved it so much, especially the friendly dogs and the goats and sheep.
Nothing. It couldn't be more perfect.

We absolutely loved staying here. Wonderful hosts, beautiful farm, excellent location. Lucie and Rahno (and all the goats, dogs, cats, ponies, sheep and chickens) made us so welcome and our son just loved being able to feed and stroke the animals. It’s a wonderful place to come with children. The farm is extremely comfortable and clean, and the breakfast is great. It’s minutes from the mind-blowing Lascaux caves and the lovely town of Montignac too. We hope to come again. Highly recommended.
