We stayed here with our two kids and loved how quiet the unit was. Quick walk to the pool (3 mins) and the location was terrific for beach and other activities. It also did not feel super touristy (which we loved). The unit itself was exactly as described. The kitchen was super well equipped.

This place was perfect. Had our family of 5 for almost 2 weeks and did tons of activities (hikes, caving, beaches, chocolate farm tour, etc.). Mauna Lani is perfectly located fir us to get to it all, but also quiet and removed for relaxation days. The condo was perfect and we loved everything the Palm Villas had to offer, we'll be back!

The house was perfect for our large family! Was extremely well equipped with anything we could have needed while on the island. Our kids loved the pool and it was a short walk from the condo. The grounds and lanai were gorgeous, and everything inside and out was well taken care of!
The condo community is a quiet one and has several rules, which took a little getting use to with 4 small, loud and busy children. Overall, we had a great stay! We love the Big Island

Place was all it said it would be, my family and I loved it, location was great. The island is beautiful, would definitely go back if I good :)

Lovely home with all the amenities. Love the private beach which was a 5 minute drive and had lots of parking. Not a long haul for beach gear which’s the host supplied including towels. Super convenient restaurant by the beach if you want to grab a bite without having to leave the beach. The Big Island has so much to explore. Much of the island is rainy, so it was nice to have a place to stay after a day in the rain to relax and enjoy some sun. House is about 30 minutes from Kona and Waimea. Host was awesome. Convenient check in and check out process with very clear instructions. Definitely recommend and would stay again!

We stayed for 6 days in this Palm Villas unit in March with 2 adults and 2 teens. It was just as described/pictured. Space is excellent. Loves the views and privacy compared to other Palm Villa units we have rented in Mauna Lani. The unit has everything you need & all electronics work. Also, Noah (owner) is very responsive & easy to deal with. Be sure to check out the restarant recommendations. We were very glad we did! He has some gems we would not have found on our own.

walking distance to local store, a number of restaurants, 10 to 15 min drives, we loved the location

This property had everything we needed for a wonderful family vacation. The home was very clean, and everything was in working order. The unit is right across from the pool, which was excellent. We were within 10 minutes driving distance of the most beautiful beaches on the island.
The convenience of having a kitchen and BBQ to cook at home was amazing. The beds were comfortable, and everything was very spacious and well laid out. The sunset view from the balcony / back patio were extraordinary.
Overall, we couldn't have had a better trip.

Great end of trip place to stay!
This was our first trip to Hawaii. We stayed at 3 different VRBO locations (Kona, Hilo and ended our trip here). We were only here a day and a half (mix up on our flight due to my fault and we needed a place for one night). Since our flight didn't leave til 10 pm and the minimum night stay was 2 nights, it worked well to book 2 nights). It was an expensive mistake on my part as the day and a half cost $$$$ (not allowed post amount).
This place was great for our last couple days on the island because we had been going hard during our trip (to see and do so many things) and we were able to relax before flying back home. We spent a lot of our time at the Mauna Lani Beach. The snorkeling is good and the house is equipped with a standup paddle board and many other useful "toys" for beach or pool enjoyment. The restaurant at the Beach Club was good and super convenient while we were enjoying the beach.
You can find everything you will need at the condo. The kitchen is well equipped and things like beach towels, soaps, etc are furnished. The Kona coffee and chocolates were a nice touch and so good.
There are a couple of things I would point out that kept me from giving a perfect score. It appeared as though the living area on the first floor was not well vacuumed as I found cheerios and a couple other things and alerted the manager. Everything else appeared to be cleaned adequately.
The listing boasts 14 restaurants, 3 beaches, etc...finding those things was not super easy. Thankfully, the Beach Club was easy. As for restaurants on the property, not sure where those all are. We found ourselves looking for somewhere to go our first night. Most places were booked but there was a restaurant within walking distance with openings so we reserved a table and walked there (inside one of the hotels). Getting there was a 15 min walk) and had to go through gates but the gates were open, so non issue. Little did we know, getting back through those gates on the way home after dark would be an issue. The pedestrian and car gates were closed and the passcodes given for our condo property did not work. Trying to scale a lava stone wall is way more challenging than you might imagine.
So, I would say, a map to the places (that are accessible)would be helpful.
Overall, this place is great if you plan to use the beach on property a lot (or golf). For us, this was the perfect place to be at the end of our trip where we could relax and unwind before going home.

Super well equipped condo in perfect location
This condo was absolutely perfect in every way. First the location, which is prime. It was walking distance to the Mauna Lani, both the resort itself and the Beach Club., as well as the Shops at Mauna Lani. The condo is nicely situated in the Palm Villas complex, with a stunning view off both the lanai and the balcony. The Palm Villas pool was lovely and mere steps from the condo. Finally, the condo itself was the best equipped rental condo we've ever stayed in. No detail or convenience was overlooked, making our stay so comfortable. Two examples come to mind--every single light switch is labeled with what it controls and on every night stand there was a charging device (standard plug and USB) for a mobile phone. For all these reasons, I highly recommend this condo. Mahalo N&S for a wonderful stay!

Ideal location, best appointed villa in Palm Villas
This is the most beautifully appointed unit in this lovely micro-community within the mauna lani resort community. The privacy is exceptional for a townhome; landscaping is exquisite. The villa itself is ideal for capturing the trade winds and enjoying stunning sunsets on the lanai. It has everything from cooking essentials to snorkeling gear. Hosts are highly responsive and wonderfully informative!

This Palm Villas unit was perfect for the three couples in
our group. Loved the quiet location on the Mauna Lani
golf coarse and the amenities available to us at the Palm Villas.
Ten minute walk to the beach club.

We had such a relaxing stay. I think complex emptied out mostly after the work week started so empty pool. Perfectly quiet

Wow. We had the most amazing Hawaiian vacation staying in H-4. We were here for a total of 11 days. I do not have one complaint. A/C worked more than amazing. All appliances are clean, new and work amazing. The whole unit was clean and quiet. In my option, H-4 is the best unit in the whole palm villas because of how it is tucked away in the back and you only have neighbors on one side of you. You don’t have anyone else's windows facing in at your room or living space. Which I LOVE because we were able to have all the blinds open to enjoy the amazing views. Trust me, skip the hotel and book this unit. It is well worth it and will not disappoint!

This was the perfect VRBO for our family of 7. It is well stocked, well laid out, well furnished, very clean, with great amenities and lovely decor. The kitchen has most everything you might need, there are plenty of linens, swim towels, a garage full of tons of snorkel and beach gear. The showers were great, the space was ample, the beds were soft, the barbecue was super nice to have, and the pool and hot tub, which are only steps away, were also wonderful (although the hours of use ended a bit too early for us;).
The location is wonderful. It's walking distance to a small mall with a nice little grocery store that has the bomb poke and most everything you might need. It also has a couple of restaurants, some gift shops, and a Snorkel Bob's for renting any snorkel gear the house doesn't have (e.g. wet suits). More importantly for us, this VRBO is close (a super short drive or 15 min walk through very interesting historical fish ponds with all sorts of fish and birds) to the fabulous Beach Club Beach with a great restaurant/bar, showers, bathrooms, water-sport rentals, and great snorkeling. This beach is also very safe for the kiddos.
Mauna Lani is also close to the Waikoloa resort area with more shopping and many restaurants (don't miss the Original Big Island Shaved Ice (the wait is worth it) and the Kuleana Rum Shack for super special treats).
Mauna Lani is a lovely resort area that is very quiet, especially at night, which we much prefer over Waikoloa and especially busy Kona. However, it is a bit of a drive to many of the must see and do spots, but being literally the "Big Island" we expected to drive to many destinations on the island, so this did not bother us.
Our 9 year old grandson slept in the loft. He's a sound sleeper so it was good for him, but it is a very open space located with the washer and dryer and has no privacy. He was wishing he had his own room, but this would not keep us from renting this VRBO again.
My husband and I found the soft king bed in the master bedroom very comfortable. One in our party felt his bed was too soft, but he was having back issues before we arrived, so I'm not sure the bed was the issue.
The air conditioner was much needed and appreciated on hot days and nights, however with the auto turn off after only 3 hours we often woke in the middle of the night having to reset it.
I highly recommend this super VRBO. Don't hesitate to rent it. You will have an awesome time here!

House was hot 🥵
Air conditioning would not stay on. Kept turning off every 2 hours. It took 1 whole day to cool the house.
Home was clean. And amenities were good but because of the heat it is a 3 star.

We loved our stay. The layout of the condo was perfect for our family of 6. The property had everything we needed. It was comfortable and easily accessible for my 80 year old mom as well as open and fun for my young kids and teen. We loved eating outside every night and appreciated all the amenities. It was truly beyond expectations.
