About this house rental
This beautiful home boasts over 2400 square feet of living space. It has four bedrooms, 2 1/2 bathooms. It is situated on beautiful Otisco Lake and less than twenty minutes away from Skaneateles and Destiny Mall USA.
Drive up to hike the nearby 90 foot tall Carpenter's waterfall near Skaneateles or Tinker Falls in Tully NY. Explore the Village of Skaneateles' unique shops, boutiques and world class restaurants. Take the 5/20 drive while exploring the wine country, rolling hills and the Finger Lakes Region of beautiful Upstate New York. Near us is 1911 apple orchard, song mountain ski resort and several golf courses.
The Space:
On the main level there is an open floor plan with a spacious living area, modern kitchen with granite counters and dining room seating for (8). The second level has a Master bedroom with on suite jacuzzi bathtub and queen bed, guests bedrooms with queen bed. Fully furnished with linens, livingroom and kitchen ammenities. Pamper yourself with the luxuries of a home theater, hot tub, downstairs sauna and internet service. Catch up on some reading on the wrap around deck, or just veg in our covered hot tub and open porch overlooking the lake.
There is a dock, fire pit, and over 80 feet of private lakefront for you to enjoy! If you brought your fishing gear - catch some fish off the dock!
The lake is not swim-ready until mid-June unless you are a very hardy soul! Sit on the front deck and you may see our resident eagles. The sunsets from the deck are absolutely magnificent!
Rent a party boat from the local marina to tool around our beautiful lake and motor up to "lakeside vista" and enjoy one of our local eateries. You can bring your own boat and dock at the marina nearby.

The property was just as pretty as it shows in the pictures. The house was very clean and beautifully decorated. We had a great time using the pool table and video games in the downstairs as well as playing games at the dining room table. There was pleanty of room in the back for playing cornhole and a frisbee game we brought. The view of the lake was perfect from the deck and the back yard and we all took a dip in the lake from the dock. The store across the street was just a few steps away and you can also rent a boat there and just walk about 2 minutes to the marina to board. The host was wonderful and was right on top of everything we asked about. My family had an awesome vacation there and I wouldn't hesitate to rent the house again. Do not miss this house if you are going to the finger lakes!

House was very nice, basement great for kids etc. House on busy road, so watch the kids. Only 2 restaurants on the lake, but Skaneateles is 15 mins with plenty to do. Owners very nice and responsive. Great fishing on north lake side, house is on south end, which is cut off from main lake by a causeway, with a small "cut through" for boats to go back and forth, but not a long ride by boat.

House was beautiful and right on lake- easy to rent boat at marina a few doors down. Everyone loved the game room. Unfortunate it was too hot to enjoy the hot tub during our stay (record temperatures in upper 80s/ lower 90s. The theater room is a bonus; however, you need your own subscriptions to watch anything so we were limited to YouTube. Overall, there was plenty of space for our family of 8 in this beautifully decorated, sparkling clean home on the quiet peaceful lake Otisco.

What a beautiful home! The house was perfect and well stocked and the views were spectacular! The kids had a great time renting kayaks, and we all enjoyed relaxing on the decks, playing games and watching movies every night! Our hosts were so nice and helpful and we are so appreciative of them sharing their lovely home with us! We would love to come back again!!!

The house and hosts were amazing. The hosts allowed us to change our dates when we experienced an unplanned family event.
The house was beautifully decorated.When a snowstorm arrived, we decided to cancel our day trip and took advantage of the basement/game room. When we were not playing pool or board games, we were in the hot tub or watching movies in the theatre style seats.

Absolutely stunning house. Very well decorated. Extremely comfortable beds. The 3rd floor is spacious. The bottom floor is fabulous for entrainment. Loved watching football in the cinema area. Played pool, arcade games, darts. The Christmas tree was picture perfect! Kitchen very well stocked. Plenty of space for everyone. Great dining room table for dinners and a good puzzle. Great views off the balconies. Camp store across the street convenient. Close to adorable small towns.Hosts were excellent communicators. We absolutely adored this house! Stunning in so many ways. Hosts personalized the home. Amazing. Would highly recommend!

Spent the weekend for our 30th anniversary with another couple that are great friends. First time using Vrbo, so Angela was quickly responsive to any questions we had. I presume the last renters didn't leave it as how they found it because we had to clean the stove, outside grill, and a few other things before we could use them. With exploring nearby Skaneateles and 1911 and some other places, we ran out of time and didn't get to even try the jacuzzi as we had planned. We couldn't get the bowling machine to work, but the pool table and cinema room did get some use. It is a nice area and easy to get to wherever you want to go. We would stay here again.

On the eastern bank of the easternmost of the finger lakes, this property is close enough to both Syracuse and Skeneatles if one wants an evening out. There are decks on each level with an unobstructed view of the lake and direct access to it from the lowest level. The kitchen is very well-appointed with lots of condiments and spices to supplement your stock. There is even a home theater in the basement, and a sauna. The one quibble I had was that it could do with some comfortable chairs indoors for people to sprawl and read a book, instead of the large formal dining table. However, there is plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the lake view.

Listing and pictures were accurate and we really enjoyed our stay. The house had an incredible expansive deck with great views of the lake. The downstairs had a game room, bar, movie theatre and a great place to hangout. I would definitely stay here again.

This was our second year here which tells you we like this house a lot. Close to one of the best golf courses in New York. Well maintained and prime location right on the water. Plenty to do in good and bad weather. Campground store and boat rental nearby (500 feet). Angela is very responsive to any questions that come up. No hesitation to rate this house 5 stars!

The photos accurately depicted the home. The beauty of the scenery is best captured in person. There was something for everyone in the family. Some preferred the games, others the sauna. I loved the middle deck. It was relaxing just to sit there and take in the view.

Amazing home right on the Lake, we had 6 of us stay for my daughters wedding the house was perfect. I just wish we had more time to enjoy the hot tub and game room. We are planning on coming back when our schedule is a little less hectic.

We stayed at this beautiful home with our adult children and 8 month old grandson for a family vacation. The home is spacious, beds were comfortable, and kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for preparing our own meals.
We particularly enjoyed the outdoor space with room for those who wanted to be in the sun and those who preferred to stay in the shade. The large upper deck was enjoyed by all, and the composite deck material and railings provided a safe space for the baby to crawl around and play.
We brought kayaks and enjoyed the lake, played lawn games in the grassy area, and enjoyed the fire pit at night.
The hosts were very kind and responsive to any questions we had before, as well as during, our stay.
We will visit again!

The lodging gets an A+
It is a beautiful house on Otisco Lake. One of the best houses we’ve ever rented in NY.
Spacious and clean with many amenities. The view of the lake is second to none in the Finger Lakes region. The owner was very responsive and unobtrusive to quickly fix an electronics problem we encountered.
However there is one problem with this property.
There is no easy access to the lake.
The waterfront gets a lesser grade.
You can not easily enter the water from the dock, as you cannot jump or dive into the lake due to the rocks. The owner did provide signage to note this. There is no ladder from the dock into the lake. There are no stairs from the shoreline into the lake. I tried lowering myself into the lake from what is left of their brick retaining wall but it is under repair at this time.

This was our first family vacation in years and it was great! The house was exactly as described, spacious, well-appointed, well taken care of and had everything we could ever need and then some. The lake view (and access) were just incredible and the porch swing was a favorite for everyone. Our hosts were amazing-very friendly, very helpful and easy to reach/communicate with, really lovely people. We definitely recommend the house and them and will be back again.

What a great time was had!! This house literally had everything!! We ate ever meal that we had on the deck over looking lake. Enjoyed movies on the big screen with reclining seats. The house was clean and well stocked. We spent most of the days either in the lake, sitting by the lake, or on the patio or deck overlooking the lake:). The hot tub was super relaxing also. Short ride to Skaneateles, great town, shops, restaurants, and waterfront to enjoy. I highly recommend a trip to Beak and Skiff Apple Hill Campus and 1911 Tasting Room!! So beautiful there.

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely waterfront home with gorgeous windows letting in lots of natural light. The porch is beautiful and peaceful. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. The lower floor is everything a person could want for family entertainment and the house was stocked with toys that our children enjoyed.

What a fabulous find - just wish we had found it sooner!!! We spent the weekend of our son’s graduation from Syracuse University here, and it couldn’t have been more perfect! A mere 25 minute drive from the craziness of the crowds and chaos of downtown, and we were at our beautiful lakefront retreat. Complete with everything we could dream of…views, patios, balconies, fire pit, outdoor kitchen, cozy nooks, indoor theater, hot tub, sauna, beautiful decor, comfy beds, luxurious bathrooms and kitchen, a “party” basement for those that could need it, a paddle boat, pristine, quiet…what more could one want?! We are only sad we didn’t discover it Freshman year instead, as it would have been the perfect place to spend a weekend, any season, to visit our college student and give him a break from campus life as well!

Rented the house the night before my wedding for my groomsmen, and we were absolutely blown away. Absolutely perfect place, we loved the hot tub and theater area, honestly just wish that I’d had a longer stay. The hosts were also very friendly and accommodating.

My sisters and our spouses (6 total adults) had a wonderful stay in this absolutely beautiful location right on the water. And the house is fun, with pool table, and several arcade games. The jacuzzi was clean and heated up perfectly for use - too bad we forgot our swim suits. We had trouble figuring out how to use the theatre tv and the juke box, and had to clean the seating and wash some pots and pans before use, but the home was beautifully decorated and very clean otherwise. If you come, bring suits! There is also a small store just across the street that sells necessities.

Came for a quiet weekend to watch football with a few buddies before a friend gets married. We all plan on coming again with our spouses. Totally awesome place and the pictures don’t do it justice! A bit secluded, but there’s a nice general store across the street with everything you need (including extra parking). 11/10

We could not have asked for anything more from this beautiful home on the lake. Six friends came here to surprise a friend who had just retired. It was the perfect relaxing getaway. Enjoyed all the amenities like hot tub, sauna, game room , theatre and paddle boat. The views from the many decks were breathtaking. Angela was a lovely host and quick to answer any questions. Can’t wait to return!

Our home was very clean and nicely climate controlled. The beautiful views of the lake from the large outdoor deck were ever changing with the weather and the time of day. It’s a great bird watching spot that included close sightings of Heron and an American Bald Eagle. We had hoped to swim but the property does not seem set up for that. That was our only disappointment. It’d be ideal for boaters though. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen facilities were perfect.

Seriously all of us who have stayed here are nuts. Why are we sharing that this is a 5 star house? Like I know it is but if we share just what an amazing location, beautiful home, crammed with all the toys for a fun family time (plus ALL the dull kitchen and lifestyle), that is that just right level of fancy, without feeling like it’s too precious so you can proper relax and slouch around, with owners who are super helpful then OTHER PEOPLE WILL RENT THIS PROPERTY! So don’t come moaning to me when you want to return, and you will, and there is no availability
Lets also not then share that there is a little shop opposite that sells the emergency things, nor a marina that you can hire a boat from, for when your legs don’t fancy taking out the pedalo. Definitely don’t mention the amazing sunsets or the wonderful balconies and outdoor kitchen, and certainly omit sharing about the fire pit
I propose We call out what is less than 5 stars to put others off so we can ensure we can can back again another time (my wife is already planning a trip) so here goes……….. the light switches are a bit confusing and for some of us carrying a couple of pounds the Gym is a waste of space lol

This house is amazing! Hard to decide which deck to sit on or just relax in the back yard. Plenty of space, furniture/bedrooms are comfortable. We wished we could have stayed longer. Only suggestion would be to have a smaller dining room table and a comfy couch or recliner on the main floor. It poured one day and we couldn’t sit outside and would have loved to sit and watch the rain from main living space, super minor. We really enjoyed our brief stay.

Beautiful house located on Otisco Lake. House is wonderfully furnished including a downstairs game room and bar. The fire pit was an excellent place to reminisce after a day of golf, water sports and lawn games. Convenient location near campground store where food, beverage and firewood are only steps away.

Absolutely beautiful!! Spent most of our stay outside swimming, fishing, kayaking (we brought) but enjoyed the paddle boat, tubes/rafts they provided. Lake was warm and shallow so kids were able to swim quite a distance without a problem. The main level porch was huge, outdoor dinning table, couch and beautiful view. (Did take a tip from another review and turned the couch to face the lake, was perfect) All rooms were spacious, clean, well equipped...everything you need! In the description it doesn't mention the exact layout of the bedrooms, so for reference with famlies (was 5 of us, 2 adults 3 children) My 2 oldest had thier own bedrooms located on the main level. Master bedroom is upstairs, there's a little area with a couch/TV which was perfect for my youngest to sleep, as she was on the same level but still had her own space. However all 3 bedrooms have queen beds so can easily sleep 6 adults. Lower level with arcade and movie theater was awesome, def room for an air mattress if needed (especially for teens). Camp store and marina across the street made it very convenient as we rented a boat and enjoyed the entire lake. Angela was an amazing host and promptly answered all my questions. Highly recommend, look forward to booking again!!
