About this apartment rental
Welcome to paradise. Imagine enjoying your morning coffee out on the lanai looking directly at the ocean. Watch the boats pass by on their way to Molokini for a snorkeling adventure, the whales, when in season, are also viewable from the Lanai. The kitchen was recently updated with granite countertops and a marble backsplash. All Whirlpool appliances make cooking and cleaning an ease should you desire to do so. The newly remodeled bathrooms include walk in showers with tropical glass panes new vanities, light fixtures, chair height toilets, and mirrors. The cozy living room consists of large couch, 3 large chairs, turtle cocktail table, and end tables to enhance your island vacation. Hardwood bamboo floors extend from the stairs into the upstairs bedroom. Louver doors were installed for more privacy and ease of use upstairs. 3 AC units that are whisper quiet and resort quality are in each bedroom and living area. Maui Kamaole is a low density complex on 23 acres of one of the most beautiful tropical gardens in all of Maui. This unit is situated on a small hill across the road from Kamaole III Beach, not only is it a great family beach, it is one of Maui's finest beaches for all water activities. During the evening hours, visitors and locals grab a beach chair and watch the sunset on an expansive grass area above the beach. There are two swimming pools, spas, and two tennis courts. It is a very quiet complex away from the usual noise. This unit is a generous two bedroom, two bath, 1052 square feet. It also has three lanai's for an additional 225 square feet. The downstairs bedroom has a California King Mattress. The upstairs bedroom has a California King with a full private bathroom. There are six ceiling fans, along with three air conditioners. However, with both lanai doors open the ocean breezes generally keep the unit quite cool!

Our family stayed here for 10 nights and we loved it. We picked this location because we wanted to be close to everything but not STEPS away from everything for peace and quiet. The location is a couple minutes drive to everything we needed; beach, entertainment, and shopping. The property itself was very clean and has everything we needed. The staff was very responsive to our questions. It's across the street from the Kihei boat ramp which is awesome since there are snorkeling tours there every morning. We would stay here again if we come back to Maui.

There are three lanai’s, one very large one of a perfect view of ocean and sunsets. The condo has everything for a beach day, kitchen had everything we needed to cook with. We had some unforeseen maintenance issues that happened, not to anyone’s fault, things sometimes happen. Romvari rentals was quick to respond and offered us compensation for inconvenience plus to move to an upgraded condo. Jessica was amazing to work with.

Our rental had the most spectacular view, was super quiet, was easy to keep cool for sleeping, was very clean and comfortable, and had comfortable beds for sleeping. The kitchen had the basics, but maybe could use a few more convenience items ( plastic storage containers to use at beach and pool for snacks, plastic wrap and aluminum foil, a 1-2 day supply of coffee, cooking spray.). Otherwise, everything was perfect! The supplies shampoo, conditioner, and body wash was very nice. 4 nice beach towels, beach mats, and some pool/beach items were also provided. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your lovely rental!

On the ocean end, it is one of the best locations within the Maui Kamaole condo complex. Notably, the map location on the VRBO website is incorrect. It is not located proximate to Kamaole Beach Park 1 (Kam 1), but rather is south of Kam 3, north of Keawakapu Beach, and directly across from the Kihei boat ramp. Nonetheless, the location served us well for walking to either of the closest beaches and to the departure/arrival of our Molokini Crater snorkel tour with Redline Rafting. The condo itself was clean and well furnished and is depicted accurately by the photos. I would not hesitate to return.

We loved this condo. Great location, clean, beds are so comfy, kitchen is well equipped. The view is outstanding. We could watch the whales play, and didn’t have to leave to witness the beautiful sunsets. Management was very helpful, accommodating and a pleasure to deal with. Would absolutely recommend this unit and hope to return someday.

We stayed for 6 nights in March 2024 (family of 4, 2 adults, 2 early teen). The property is ideally located across the street from Kamaole III beach, and is easy to find. The view from the Lanai was amazing and it was easy to watch whales as we had breakfast and in the evening. The condition of the property was excellent. The facilities and appliances are up to date and the bedrooms and bathrooms are beautifully done. It had plenty of space for us and was a nice home base to come back to in Kihei.We would definitely stay in this unit again. We had no issues at all in dealing the the owner/managers or the onsite staff.

Overall our stay in this unit was very good. The communications I had with Romvari were excellent and if I needed anything they were immediately responsive. For example I thought the place needed placemats and some cleaning products and the rep brought them immediately. There is an issue with the sink drains in the bathrooms which they tried to resolve. The condo is comfortable to lounge in and the lanai has an amazing sunset view. The lanai furniture looks quite outdated. Though you are on the front of the condo complex to view the ocean, remember there is a street and beach area ahead of you so binoculars would be good to view whales. The bathrooms are fairly newly renovated. The kitchen has all the appliances but I felt that the dishware, glasses, cutlery and utensils were a bit sparse and some looked quite old and very outdated. The beds are very comfortable. The unit is accessed by going up one flight of stairs, and the hallway and entry to the apartment look quite shabby. This gave a poor first impression. The complex including the swimming pool are fine but very outdated and don't picture yourself lounging in a very luxurious type place. Thankfully beaches of Kihei and Wailua are nearby and those are great. Kihei is convenient for tourists with many nearby shopping and dining options. It is very touristic. One bonus is that 2 whale watching outfits leave from just across the street from the condo. We used Blue Water Rafting and I can recommend them.

We really enjoyed this 2 bedroom Unit in the A area of Maui Kamaole. It has great views of the ocean and they provided beach chairs. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. The balcony gets hot in the afternoons but provides a great view of the sunset! Hope to come again!

My husband and I were very pleased with this condo. It was beautiful, clean, and well equipped with kitchen and beach needs. We had a great experience with booking, checking in and checking out. The view was breathtaking and we enjoyed drinking coffee on porch for sunrise and taking photos from porch for sunset. We will definitely be booking here again. Overall I was deeply disappointed with the inflexibility of Romvari Rentals in the context of the devastating fires that affected western Maui. My daughter's wedding scheduled for August 26 in Lahaina was cancelled--my daughter and her fiance's hotel was evacuated, the rehearsal dinner was cancelled and the marriage certificate was presumably destroyed in the Lahaina fire. While I realize I had reserved a place in Kihei, south of the fires, the overwhelming message from local, state and national authorities as well as from tourism officials for the middle to end of of August was to not come to Maui or to at least reschedule the trip. Romvari refused to refund me even though this was an "Act of God" situation, and refused to consider a rescheduling of the booking, even though VRBO issued a statement saying "we expect that the host you booked with will provide you with a full reimbursement or an alternative resolution for the stay you were unable to complete." I didn't decide to cancel my reservation because I didn't want to come to Maui--I did so out of respect for all of the images of the devastation in western Maui and because again the message at that time was clear--do not come at this time. I'm deeply disappointed by my interactions and communication with Romvari and with their inflexibility in this extraordinary situation.

Kudos to the property and property manager for ensuring that nothing interfered with our return to Maui after a decade and having a fabulous time introducing Paradise to our 11-year old.We loved the layout of the property including the lanai with a gorgeous view which was exactly as advertised.The location was perfect for our family with easy access to several beaches including the wonderful Kewakapu where we spent a good deal of time. The surrounding landscape within Maui Kamaole was lush and beautiful and the pools were never crowded. All of Wailea and Kihei neighborhoods were within a few minutes.The property was very well maintained and everything worked as expected. We also appreciated that the essentials were well stocked upon arrival and we did not immediately have to worry about what we don't have in the kitchen or the bathrooms.Although we never really had to reach out to Romvari, they did an excellent job of communicating with us and ensuring we had all the information we needed. The location of this condo was absolutely perfect. Situated in central Maui, it is only a short drive from all major attractions on the island. The condo was clean, spacious, and offered great views. It was the perfect place to stay in that it was affordable and felt like the nicest place you could stay that wasn't a lavish resort. I woukd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a place on the islandnof Maui.

This unit is in the best location on the property, right in front and no other building to block uiur view of the ocean. We didnt spend any time in the pools, didnt really even check them out. Unit was clean, well appointed, and comfortable. Having the beach chairs was an awesome perk!

The property was the perfect spot for a unforgettable couples ski trip. The location is very convenient to the gondola as well as all the shops and restaurants in downtown keystone. The view from the living room is amazing. The jacuzzi tub was a great way to undwind and relax after a day of skiing. I would highly recommend this property

We enjoyed our stay at the Maui Kamaole. The unit has been renovated recently, is very clean, and is located in a quiet location in Kihei. We could easily walk to both the Keawakapu Beach and to the Kamaole Beach Park III. We very much enjoyed watching the sunsets over the ocean from the lanai. We found Jessica (the property manager) to be responsive to any of our questions.

Overall a nice place to stay. Great location. Great view. The condo was clean and met our needs during our stay on Maui. There are a couple of things that need to be addressed. 1. Time for a new dishwasher. Current one doesn't work well. 2. A few of the electrical outlets were not attached in the wall properly. We had to be carefull when plugging and unplugging cords into these outlets. 3. The Upstairs bathroom sink was slow to drain. None of these things are deal breakers but should be taken care of. We would consider staying here again on our next trip to Maui.

Very easy check-in process and good communication from Jessica. The place was very clean and updated. There were enough kitchen supplies and the provided beach chairs, mats, and coolers were much appreciated.
But the best part of the unit was the patio. Wow, the pictures do not do the view justice! Sunsets were amazing, no need to even go across the street to the beach!

Long story short, it’s a wonderful place to stay for someone like me and my family who were first time coming to Maui. Kihei is a great area regardless but the beach access, plenty of nearby parks for kids, dining options and the atmosphere in general are amazing. My family really enjoyed the ocean view from the patio. Small hiccups like sturdy door to the bedroom, dirty spatula left unwashed and clogged bathroom sink are not negative enough for my family from wanting to stay at this property when we are back to Maui next time.

This is our third vacation at this property, and we are already booked to return next year. The unit was clean & comfortable and the recent upgrades were noted and appreciated. One comment--the dishwasher needs attention or to be replaced. It is not attached correctly under the counter, making it difficult to secure the door. It also doesn't clean dishes effectively--they need to be clean when they go into the dishwasher, or they don't come out clean at the end of the cycle.
