About this farm stay rental
Spectacular new-built 3 bedrooms, 2 bathroom mountain house. Idyllic main range views (watch the groomers on Mt Perisher from the deck). Wake to a stunning view of the sunrise over Crackenback from the bedrooms with kangaroos, deer and wombats grazing in front of you, enjoy a glass of WildBrumby Gluewein (located at the bottom of the hill) on the deck as you watch the sunset over the main range.
This is how a mountain holiday should be, with you setting the agenda. Forget cramped resort rooms and the pressure to get out the door regardless of the conditions!
Great location for accessing Thredbo (25 mins) and Perisher (13 mins from skitube). Jindabyne for supplies is 15 mins.
For non-resort days enjoy stunning walks around our 100 acres, bring your bikes to up the pace a bit, say hello to our dorpers and highland longhorn cattle, enjoy a long lunch at the WildBrumby or Crackenback Farm, or just relax with a good book as you enjoy the solitude. You can bring everything you need and spend time away from it all, or visit all the local attractions the Snowy Mountains have to offer. The south coast is 2 hours away if you want a beach day. We do get big dumps of snow, so tobogganing around the property is possible, even skiing/boarding down the road has been done! Being at 1350metres altitude on a private road means there is lots of scope for mountain biking around the property.
We love the flexibility of our house, with everybody able to do what they enjoy year round, in a house that has been built with mountain conditions in mind. The afternoon on the deck watching the 'bush TV' sunset will quickly become a ritual.
The house is fully kitted out with everything you need, with Miele appliances in the kitchen and laundry, a dedicated workshop/drying room with a work bench for any equipment tuning needs, and a smart TV so you can access your subscription services.
There is plenty of space inside and out. The large bespoke dining table (featured on the Re-wood website) is great for family meals and games, one of which is can you spot the redbacks in the table! Please be careful with the fireplace particularly when opening the door as it gets very hot and doesn't need a lot of wood. There is a glove to protect your hand from the heat.
There is an onsite manager in a self-contained unit. The house and unit are attached but completely separate. Glenn our manager has a small very friendly Staffy dog who loves people, and will come in the house if allowed! For this reason no other pets are allowed. The house is above the snow line and a 4WD vehicle or chains is highly recommended in winter. The access road is well maintained but unpaved.

We absolutely loved our stay at Rangeview!
The home is beautiful, the location is great, and it was very clean. After long days on the slopes, it was great to return here at the end of each day to relax. It felt cozy, warm, and had everything we needed for our stay. Steve made the entire check-in process simple and easy and was very helpful in answering any questions I had prior to our arrival.
We would love to return again!!

As a large family of 8, we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Rangeview.
From the easy check in process, regular communication to absolutely everything needed for our family to rest after long day’s snowboarding.
Stephen and Tracey are wonderful hosts. Their property is not only beautiful, very clean and fully stocked, but so very private.
The views from all windows are stunning.
We are certain future guests will enjoy their stay time and time again.
Thanks guys!

We had such a lovely time staying in this stunning house. We were a group of friends and our family with kids and the house accommodated us perfectly. The whole process from booking till staying and check out was super easy and the communication with Stephen was really quick and very helpful. It is an easy drive to the ski tube and coming home to the house after a long day on the slopes was so relaxing with the beautiful views into the mountains . We can highly recommend this place and are very happy to be able to stay in this house.

A gorgeous and luxurious house that is perfectly situated with a stunning view of the snow capped mountains from the lounge area, and even of the sunrise from the master room. Everything was exactly like the pictures, or even better - it felt like a home from a magazine spread.
Some of our party loved the property so much they skipped a day on the slopes to explore around the house and just relax in front of the fire on those amazing couches.
Steve was the ultimate host, very responsive and generous with so many helpful suggestions (as well as a few treats!). The care and attention to detail was remarkable.
Thanks for such a beautiful stay - we didn't want to leave!

We had the loveliest stay at Phils place.
The house is secluded and private, yet close to shops, petrol stations and places to eat. Everything was clean & the house was well equipped with everything we’d need for a short stay. Our kids were entertained with the games & toys provided for them. The best part was waking up in the morning and enjoying a hot coffee with the most spectacular view of nature & the beautiful snowy mountains. We even saw sheep & kangaroos outside our windows! Inside, it was very warm. The heating, fireplace & floor heating made it very comfortable, we only needed to wear tshirts. The on-site manager (I think his name was Greg) and his son, and their dog Ditter were very welcoming and friendly.
I cannot fault anything, we will definitely be booking this place again in the future! Thank u for a wonderful stay!

The house was fabulous. Finishes and detail were lovely. A great size kitchen, beautiful fire, lovely outlook and comfy bedding. They have done a great job with this house. Hope to rebook again next year. Crackenback farm is a few minutes drive away when you want a night off cooking and we had a great night there also

We had a really enjoyable stay at this property. Secluded and quiet after a busy day on the slopes yet close enough to town to enjoy a drink at Jindabyne Brewery after a hot bath. Underfloor heating kept the house a perfect temp day and night. The owners were more than generous with basic supplies and we felt very welcome.

Stunning mountain getaway
What a beautiful place! Felt spoilt and relaxed from the moment we walked in and saw the view. Good location half way between Jindabyne and Bullocks Flat so easy access to the ski fields and a truly special place to come home to each night. Great amenities. Steve was a fantastic host and Glen the on-site property manager was super helpful. We’ll be back for sure. Highly recommended.
