Beautiful home and perfect for five adults. Power outage due to storm and we appreciated the extra thoughtfulness to make sure we were comfortable. Loved the local flock of turkeys. Close by lots of interesting places to visit. Great spot to get to Acadia National Park.

We loved the 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms in this quaint farmhouse. The surrounding was quiet and the location fit our style for day trips to Acadia National Park and Lubec.

This quaint old home has received much love & care. It has been beautifully renovated with some of the charm of the original house left in place, as in the kitchen and beautiful hardwood floors throughout. It was spacious, immaculately clean & comfortable. We especially liked the screened porch for meals & just relaxing. The owners lived nearby and were responsive to our occasional question.
The location was perfect for our exploration of MDI & the Schoodic Peninsula. We also enjoyed fishing from the Hancock Point marina dock & long walks along the shoreline where we viewed the setting sun.

Peaceful, clean, lovely.

The house is large and well appointed, perfect for gathering together or spreading out. The beds are not the most comfortable and you are about 45 minutes from Acadia but I would consider it wrll worth it for the quiet.

Property was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. It was convenient to what we wanted to do. Lots of good information given about the local attractions and restaurants. It was fun to stay in a house built in 1875!

Loved this historic home. The owner was close by and so helpful. The home was clean and well stocked. The steps leading up to the bedrooms are a little steep, but we had no other issues/complaints.

This house was great and the price was perfect. Everything was clean and well kept! I would suggest maybe a bigger water heater and keep in mind the bathrooms are quite small. Also the bed in the purple room was extremely squeaky. But other than that it was great! They leave you a book of things to do in the area!

Charming Old Farm House with Some Quirks
This is a rather old house with some rustic charm. Clean and inviting to accommodate a small family. There is no "master" bathroom and one small bathroom upstairs to handle the four upstairs bedrooms. There is a small bathroom in the downstairs bedroom. It would have been nice to have a dishwasher and an outdoor firepit. Being a house that is about 150 years old, it does have some age to it, so expect the features of the house to reflect that.
