We very much enjoyed our stay at this lakeview VRBO! The property was very clean and comparable with the online photos. The view of the lake through the glass doors can't be beat and the location was central to many great hikes and wineries! The bed was comfortable, however, the pillows were very flat and a bit uncomfortable. We made use of the kitchen for breakfasts and to cook dinner one night - it had all the appliances and cookware we needed. The only problem we had was that we could not connect to the WiFi network - none of the passwords written on the sheet nor sent to us via text by the host worked. However, we did not need to be online anyway and it was nice to enjoy the view from the deck unconnected.

Beautiful view and it is conveniently located about a 3 min drive to the visitor center where you can hike Watkins Glenn State Park. We had everything we needed in this space and it was very clean. . We stayed here at the end of a long road trip so it was really nice to relax with the view and be able to have a washer and dryer to use before we traveled home.

This house fit our needs. Great view of the lake and sunset from the deck. Out of town, but easy access to where we wanted to go. Very clean, spacious, newly refurbished. We could relax here after touring and hiking and wine tasting all day.

The location is great just 5 minutes north of Watkins Glen on the east side of the lake and the view of Seneca is great. Situated on East side of the lake means you can watch the sunset from your porch. Cool space, plenty of square feet and very comfy. Will definitely come back.

We didn’t realize that one of the most famous winemakers in the USA had recently opened a winery across the street from this location. I’ve been in the wine business for 20 years, and I would recommend this location as an outstanding hub to visit the producers in the Finger Lakes area.
Absolutely beautiful location. Also, I tend to cook for myself when traveling. Great kitchen facilities, dinner on the deck with the view of Lake Seneca was killer.
I would definitely stay here again.

This is a wonderful place to stay while at the Finger Lakes. The location is perfect as it is close to Watkins Glen as well as all of the wineries along the eastern shore. Also, the bed is comfortable, the home was clean and all the amenities were perfect...we only wish we could've stayed longer. But, the best part is watching the sun set over the lake in the evenings, something you have to experience to truly understand just how beautiful it is. Thank you for allowing us into your property...till next time!!

The rental unit was spacious with a nice view and attractive furnishings. Everything was clean and modern but lacked comfort: I brought my own pillows based on another review and I should have brought better towels. It was overcast during our vacation so we would have appreciated better lighting.

I used to go to Seneca Lake when I was a kid and stay on the actual lake so when I was looking for a rental, I wanted something similar. This did not disappoint. The view was amazing every day and the sunset falls right over the mountain in front of the view. The house came with all the amenities. We did bring some of our own household items in case but it was nice having luxuries like a washing machine and dishwasher. The grill had spare propane and worked great. I brought my 17 foot bass boat with me during the trip. The driveway was sort of challenging to turn around but I would not recommend bringing a boat or trailer over that length if need be. I had thermostat problems as well that I’ll list below but all minor issues in the grand scheme.

This home was comfortable, clean and oh so relaxing. With the gorgeous view in a private, and spacious room; my husband and I felt like we could detach from the busy life, and feel refreshed and renewed. When we do come back, I will probably be alittle more prepared with kitchen items, however the room was supplied with the basic necessities. Thank you for creating a wonderful getaway.

Wanted to escaped the city for couple of days with family, and found this place that is/was a barn that they converted into a cozy living space with an incredible sight to seneca lake. We totally loved it, it is equipped with everything you need. the newly renovation look is eye welcoming. it is hard to find anything wrong that would spoiled your stay with the exception of some personal preference, which that is, all they are, personal. Though we brought our own disposable plates and so on, the kitchen has everything. I want to point out little details as a coffe machine with that grind, with the coffe beans included of
course. Acomodation for four no bad if pravicy it is of no concern, like our situation. I love to grill, wine and coffe, them all were cover. use the grill every day, they even has and extra propane tank, i was disappointed because i forgot the wine cup but my sorrow was short live when my wife told me she saw them in the cabinet lol. Resuming, l like the simpleness of decoration but most of all the location, nature around is beautiful, out of town of course, where quiet is a most. if you are a simple minded person which primary purpose is enjoy life, and no let missery come between you and your time off this place is for you. We try to follow the rules and keep the place clean for the nest guest enjoyment.

Beware of poor management. It is really too bad because the property had potential and the location was great. It had a significant ant problem and despite reporting the issue immediately, it wasn’t until the next day that someone showed up to address the problem. There is a Walmart nearby so we went and bought ant traps ourselves. Did we get any discount? No. We didn’t even get an offer of reimbursement of the ant traps. There are plenty of other options in the area.

The place was an excellent stay for myself & would have been for a couple as well. The amenities were great! You can't beat the large porch for your morning coffee to start your day or a glass of wine to finish it off. I appreciated the washer & dryer & kitchen amenities as well as it's superb location
The only thing I'd suggest is a few hangers for clothes & a scrapper spatula for the kitchen. These were not anything that were detrimental to my stay, just suggestions.

Great space for a family trip. The entire layout was open space concept in a renovated barn, very clean with an awesome view. The location was the perfect distance to Watkins Glen. Few minutes away from dining and parks. We really enjoyed it here including my six year old! Would definitely come back and stay here.

The pictures are spot on. Beautiful view from the deck and from inside. Good location for driving to the different wineries. WiFi works great. They have a Nest thermostat. If you haven’t used one before, like us, you might went to Google directions for it😉. There is no storage for clothes. It would be nice if there were some shelves or even hooks on the wall to hang items. We would stay here again. Loved that view.

This is a great rental with incredible views of lake Seneca, especially during sunset. The interior was spacious and clean, and is located conveniently to Watkins Glen, and surrounded by great wineries and breweries!

We stayed in this rental for a week, and the location could not be more perfect. Watkins Glen is a 5 minute drive, Ithaca is about 25 minutes away and Corning is 30 minutes away. The rental was fairly new, clean, quiet and very comfortable. Having the washer, dryer and grill were great! The rental was also well stocked with essential bathroom toiletries, paper products (including trash bags) and cleaning supplies. The lake view and sunsets from the deck were absolutely stunning! We had a wonderful time and truly enjoyed every minute of our vacation. Waking up to that lake view every morning was priceless. A few items that could be added to the rental would be some large plates, grill utensils, another mirror (ideally a full sized one) outside the bathroom, dresser or luggage racks, a place to hang clothes and a curtain in the bathroom window. We made due without these items and it wouldn’t deter us from renting again, but for a weeklong stay, it would be nice to have some of these additional items, especially the curtain to provide some privacy when showering.

We couldn't ask for a more perfect place to stay while exploring the area with its many excellent vineyards. The house sits on a hill and has gorgeous views of the lake from the balcony. Inside is spacious and exquisitely furnished with modern, clean lines. Easy check-in, lots of amenities.

Location and views were spectacular. Rental was clean, updated and spacious, as advertised. The open concept was great as well as the views from the deck of Lake Seneca and sunset.
Amenities were great other than the bed itself was not comfortable. Kind size bed that bowed in the middle making you feel you were rolling into the middle from both sides. My husband, who basically can sleep anywhere, ended up sleeping on the couch a few nights, as he could not get comfortable. That was our only issue, but feel it is important as travelers expect a comfortable place to sleep.
Other than the bed it was exceptional and better than expected. Quiet, perfect location.

We had a moms get away weekend of 4 ladies. We went to the Wine Festival. The loft was plenty big enough for the 4 of us. 2 ladies slept in the king bed, 1 on the couch, and 1 on a blow up mattress. The kitchen was well equiped with everything we needed. The bathroom is very spacious. We sat on the deck overlooking the lake and drank wine in the evening.

When we first got there housekeeping had not been there to clean up from the guest prior. BUT as soon as I called the company, at 5:30pm on a Friday night they sent housekeeping there. I had abt 3 ppl contact me to make sure everything was OK afterwards.

This was the absolute perfect home away from home. The view was unbeatable. We enjoyed the deck every morning for coffee and wine every evening. The entire place was immaculate. We will definitely be back.
