2 grandparents vacationed w/ our son and wife including 3 children ages 10, 7, and 3. A perfect home for us. Upstairs 3 bedrooms (1 large king, 1 w 2 twins, and 1 w/ queen, full bath and a separate TV area with sofa, chairs and a desk area. The family had plenty of room and privacy. Downstairs is king bedroom & full bath for the grandparents. A full kitchen with a great room/dining room combo & a separate 3 season room with loads of kids games and place for the kids to hang out. The garage had beach toys, chairs, and a trolly plus some kayaks etc. The neighborhood is quiet and secluded with little traffic. Right across the street is a path to a small beach on the gentle Wareham River before it empties into Buzzard Bay. There are 3 or 4 of the small sandy beaches within a few blocks of the house…perfect for our kids to get beach time, chase crabs, go wading & for the adults to chill out. There are several grocery stores and expected retailers about a 15 minute drive away. We spent the days on Cape Cod doing tourist things then retreated to this house mid afternoon (most days) to chill, eat supper, let the kids nap and play. Internet was really good. We loved this house! We loved the neighborhood. There is also a larger swimming beach with a floating platform and roped off swim area and there is a really nice large, safe, attractive, shady playground a few blocks away. Highly recommend esp for families. Perfect vacation!

My family and friends thoroughly enjoyed our week-long stay! The house had plenty of space for 9 adults, with a very well stocked kitchen and lots of linens. Our host also supplied us with large pots to cook lobsters, and the grill was put to good use. Grocery stores and excellent restaurants were less than 10 minutes away.
We enjoyed using the kayaks in the beautiful cove, and walking around the neighborhood was relaxing with amazing views. I especially loved eating breakfast looking out over the water every morning.
The location was quiet, and Wareham is the "Gateway to Cape Cod" so easy access to other areas.
Happy memories were made here!

This is truly one of the most amazing vacation homes I’ve stayed in, not a detail overlooked! So much more than this listing even covers. The kayaks, the neighborhood, the view, the SUNSET! The house is so well appointed with toys and things you could ever need. Even scissors and a screwdriver you wouldn’t think you needed. This is a private community and you can (and SHOULD) rent a golf cart bc it makes it so fun! And there is a playground RIGHT in the community right up the street! We visited multiple times daily! There are 3 (really 4 if you count the dining room table) separate areas to gather which worked amazing for us, kids in sunroom, teen in upstairs sitting room, parents in main living room, we all gathered in the kitchen and dining room for family games and meals, a wonderful home with the most accommodating host, we had the best vacation ever!!

This was great we had all four of our kids come down different times during the week. Everything worked and plenty of space. Views were awesome from wake up to sundown. Beach was walking distance. What a fun community. You won’t be disappointed.

We had a very pleasant stay. House was very well equipped for my family including 4 kids. Beach gear was really helpful and kitchen had everything we needed. Location is perfect for getting to Boston, Newport, cape cod beaches. Would definitely stay again in the future.

Our crew was in the area to film a TV sereies about commercial fishing, The Fishmonger, on Outdoor Channel. The location is perfect for getting to Cape Cod, New Bedford or Boston. The house is great, updated and in a quiet area on the water. The owners are very responsive and sincerely want you to make the most of your visit. I doo hope this property is availabale when we return.

The house was well situated and well supplied. The views were lovely and peaceful, the sunsets amazing. The beds upstairs were very comfortable. No one used the bed downstairs. Having two bathrooms was a big help. Parkwood is a quiet, friendly neighborhood. You can walk to the beach. Our group ranged in age from 78 to 5 years old. All of us loved the time at Parkwood.
