Got to enjoy the family as we gathered in this roomy home, space for everyone outside, the pools, the home itself. Very spacious and comfortable.
We surely enjoyed the stay and amenities ❤️
Will stay again!!

Overall we had an amazing fun stay! There was an amazing amount of space, the view was perfect and the pools were fun. The not so good, the floors were very dirty. So dirty that my son’s feet turned black and so we had to wear shoes inside the whole time. The AC was not cooling well and it was 76 while we slept. They said they would let maintamce know but that didn’t really fix the uncomfortable temp while WE slept. Definitely recommend if AC is working, to stay here!

We enjoyed our stay, the house was in a great location. We spent time walking to the beach, sitting out on the deck and in the pool. A very relaxing weekend getaway.
3.0 / 5.0
Ups: clean, sleeps 16 comfortably, cowboy pool, above ground pool, fire pit, beach volleyball court, large deck, large kitchen, AC, available grill, and large parking area, homeowner is easy to communicate with
Downs: a tad worn, unresponsive management company (different than homeowner), no AC vent or ceiling fan in downstairs bedroom, no outside shower or hose to wash off sand, downstairs toilet moved when someone sat on it, blinds off window in bunkroom, lack of hooks/hangers in bathrooms
If you are expecting luxurious perfection, this is not it. If you are looking for plenty of space, a place to keep everyone entertained & you have your sunscreen & mosquito spray, this is it. Enjoy!

We did have a lot of sleeping space and I loved the amount of amenities (especially utensils, cooking equipment and supplies. Everyone really loved the cowboy pool and upper deck pool and the volleyball setup was an awesome perk. The proximity of the pools to the lower deck seating made it so easy to supervise the younger kids.
There were, however, some disappointments. In the lower bedroom with the bunk beds, the linen was dirty and had some yellow and green looking stuff on it. There were way too many roaches in the bedroom, bathrooms, and kitchen. Two family members left early because of that Despite the fact that it was pretty close to the beach, the Blue Water highway was a nightmare. There was so much traffic noise it was hard to relax and enjoy the deck areas. The second evening we were there a high impact wreck happened as we were sitting out. Our biggest problem was the neighbors to our left. They had at least 6 dogs who were constantly barking and running up and down the fence when the little kids were playing. Yesterday their German shepherd jumped the fence while our dog was in the yard and one of their small dogs crawled under the fence and ran around in the yard which kind of scared the little ones. Don’t get me wrong. We did have a good time and and were not too unsatisfied. It just wasn’t as restful as we would have liked.
A few suggestions— you need better lighting for the lower deck, some steps for the cowboy pool and hand rails for the upper poo

Great location! Close to the beach if you want to walk or drive. The kids loved the pools. They even have a sand volleyball court. Make sure to bring beach towels!

The house was great. Lots of room and beds for everyone. The only thing we didn’t like about the location was that the Walmart was a little far for us and when cooking for 14 we like to buy food to cook and the small little shops around the house didn’t carry as much and much higher prices. Overall the location was nice and the house itself great.

It was very nice, outdoor things to do. beach a walk away. I was not able to enjoy much just the house itself due to bad wrecks on the way, but family that was there enjoyed it .

We had a wonderful 4 night stay at this home. It was more than large enough to accommodate comfortably the 9 people we had staying there and also the large group of relatives that visited during the day. The short walk to the beach was convenient, and the Cowboy Pool and the sand volleyball area were fun. The unimpeded view of the beach from the porch was wonderful. Thank you!

While the neighborhood and view of the ocean were nice, many aspects of this stay were disappointing. First and foremost, lack of security. The property is advertised as fenced in, when the property actually has 3 sections of the fence damaged. When I notified the manager of the holes in the fence (leading out to the busy road) and asking for it to be remedied during our stay as we had two dogs and two children under 3, I was met with "this is not our fence" as a response. Do not advertise your property as fenced in if you know in fact that it is not. Children, dogs, and others were at risk. Our dog got out and was almost hit by passing cars. The same could have happened to the toddlers! Please also note that the photos of the home are old, they state 2022 however the property is old, rusted, and furniture was falling apart. Outdoor BBQ was rusted and could not be used. We would not stay at this property again.

The photos are definitely from initial listing a year and a half ago as most of the items in the home are starting to show a good amount of wear. The home would be better listed as a 5 bedroom and the image with the arcade games is of a “bedroom” that is in a common area with no privacy. There a 2 bedrooms that do not have A/C vents and portable fans are not provided. Some of the bed frames are warped or not sturdy making the beds uncomfortable.
I know previous reviews mention the hole in the fence and a whole section missing and the issue remains as well as the broken sliding door on the second floor.
The pool was great, coffee was provided and the kitchen was fully stocked with utensils, pots and pans and basic appliances.

Our group of 10 adults, one kid, one toddler, and one infant had a lovely time at the Beach Box, making good use of the Cowboy pool and its prime location to the beach. The kitchen made it easy to cook for the whole crew and everyone had a great night's sleep after a long day of swimming.

We enjoyed our time at the house, but the cleanliness left something to be desired. When we arrived, the hous smelled of mothballs and the large air conditioning intake vent was covered in a black mold, which we tried to clean off. One of the pots in the kitchen cabinets had an inch-deep layer of old, rancid cooking fat in it, and in general the place felt a little worn out. One sliding door was off its tracks and inoperable. The place is comfortable for a large group and the location is great. Just wish it it had more attention to the details.

The property was well kept and essentially as advertised. The location is great for going to the beach. The back yard is perfect for gathering, entertaining and just relaxing. The cowboy pool is a nice touch that everyone enjoyed. This was a customer appreciation event for my company and we had a pretty large group. Everyone was very happy with the property. The only suggestion i would make is to let people know what key box the key will be in. There are several on the property.

We had such a wonderful time at Sea Esta! The accommodations fit our family and we were so close to the beach. We cooked and went out to eat but we were very happy we stayed on the outside of Galveston as traffic was so busy in town. We appreciate all the communication with VRBO or our hosts.

Went to Galveston to spend some quality time with the family. Being a contract worker on oil rigs, I don't get too much time with them, so I need to make the most of what I do get. Russell, thank you for letting us stay here and spend some time together. It was great!

The house was perfect for our family. It is close to the ocean, has comfortable beds, and was very clean. The screens are missing from several windows but I am guessing that’s from the high winds that come off the sea. Also, there aren’t any beach towels in the house. You’ll have to bring your own.

This was our first time visiting Texas for Spring Break and with 3 different families this house did not disappoint. The views of the ocean everyday could be seen from the back deck or just a short 5 minute walk to the water. The property manager checked in a couple times during the stay which was a nice touch. House/yard had plenty of space to accommodate all 14 of us. It is about a 20/30 minute drive into Galveston but it was nice being away from the crowded beaches and traffic of Galveston. We would stay here again.

We had a group of 18 very long time friends who got together for a reunion. The house was perfect for our needs. The kitchen was very well equipped. Between the kitchen and the deck, We had awesome places to hang out and visit. We also enjoyed the fire pit and the quick access to the beach. Highly recommend

Not fenced
The main reason that I booked this house was because it was fenced (yes, I double checked and they confirmed). I had a medium dog and a toddler with me. After 4h driving, for my big and sad surprise, the fence was super broken, leaving a huge hole. Talked with the manager, who quickly responded me, but nothing could have been done (maintenance wasn't able to be there in time and the owner, for some reason, couldn't reallocat us). Ended up not enjoying outside as we planned (we love barbecue" :( ").
The house is really nice and clean, and everything really seams new.
But overall, our 3 night vacation trip wasn't like we planned to be.
