Backyard access to the bay. We used the kayaks and paddleboard that were at the house. Westside beach on the gulf side is about a 15 minute walk. Really clean house.

Overall, the house was amazing. It was older, but distinct character. The amenities were great and we had everything we needed. There is a new sauna on the porch, which would have been nice to use; but we never used it! The hot tub didn’t work, but the owners are aware. The only downside, which is out of the control of the home owners, was the terrible mosquitoes we encountered. While in the house and balcony, the mosquitoes aren’t bad, but once you go down the stairs, be fully prepared with bug spray. Overall, great stay. We would stay again.

House was clean for the most part. Spacious and well provided amenities. Sand was piled up under the living room rug. Mattress in downstairs bedroom was the spring kind and the bed is falling apart. Hot tub was full of sand and you could tell it hadn't been cleaned or maintained in a while. Upstairs whirlpool tub was disgusting and unusable and black gunk cane out of the jets each time they were turned on. The kitchen lights constantly flashed and we had to keep them off bc 2 of our group suffer from seizures and that is an issue. The wifi is absolute garbage. There was NO space for us to store groceries....we had to leave everything on the counters. We did call someone about all the issues. Technicians showed up the night before we left and looked at the lights and hot tub. No one ever cleaned the upstairs tub. The mosquitos were atrocious as well, and while not necessarilya homeowner issue, we ate from Louisiana and just keeping our yard sprayed once a month has almost guaranteed our mosquito problem is minimal. All in all, wouldn't stay here again. The lack of upkeep on the cleaning part is enough for us to stay somewhere else. Someone should be making sure housekeeping is doing their job, afterall we are being charged an absurd cleaning fee.

We were an older group staying at this home Loved the views of the Sound on one side and the Gulf on the other. We gathered on the back deck most mornings for coffee and the peaceful atmosphere. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking many meals. The downstairs bedroom was great for one that was less mobile, the upstairs master with private deck, the king size bed with the killer views gave comfort for others. We explored the island beaches, stores, aquarium, ferry ride, and parks and trails. What a peaceful, friendly, relaxing place this is. We all enjoyed our time on this quaint island.

This was one of the best weeks we've had at the beach. The house is wonderful. Great Kitchen with everything we need to cook big meals. Kids loved playing on the swings under the deck. We also got to use the firepit in the backyard a few times, it was really nice to have smores at the beach! Spent lot of time at the bay side beach behind the house. It's so nice to be close to two different beaches. Sometimes the conditions are different so you get to pick what you want. I especially liked that the property has kayaks, bodyboards and standup paddle boards ready to use. Saved us from having to buy or rent anything, and the kids got to test out kayaks for the first. They actually liked kayaking in the bay better than paddleboarding which was a suprise.

House had a great layout with all the needed amenities. Comfortable furniture and fully stocked kitchen is very appreciated when taking a break from the beach. Smart TVs in every room were fantastic for nighttime. The outdoor ice maker was a nice addition. The kids loved the swings and tether ball. It is a short walk to the beach. Parking passes for public beaches were provided, which we used when we didn’t feel like walking. Overall the house is in great condition, great location, and we would stay here again. The whole family thought the house was perfect for our trip.

We couldn’t have been happier than we were in this house. It was a perfect size and setup for us. A kids bunk room with big beds, a downstairs adult room for my dad and bathrooms for everyone. The kitchen was big enough for us to host 10 of us for thanksgiving! A double oven was very convenient. There were some minor issues like light bulbs out and a coffee pot that didn’t work, but we left them a note about all of it, it didn’t impact our awesome vacation! Wifi was spotty, but it’s the beach!

We loved the absolute view of the bay from our huge covered porch. The location was convenient to anywhere we wanted to go on the island. Greer’s delivered groceries to our door. All we had to do was eat, sleep and enjoy the beautiful view. I am a cancer patient so it was a special healing time for me.

Very unique house, 2 stories, bay view windows, has a private beach on the bay, and the ocean is 3-5 minute walk. Absolutely amazing bathroom with a very cool shower and jacuzzi style bathtub. The best part was all the appliances and kitchen features are fairly new and top of the line. The only things we did not like were the big TV did not have a remote to it, we brought a Roku stick so no biggy, but the volume was stuck on 70 :/ and the badass surround sound wasn't actually hooked to the TV. Had an issue with the lock on the front door was fixed within an hour. This place could benefit from a couple hours of a handyman for small things that need fixed, but didn't really effect our stay. The beds were not comfortable either, but I fell asleep on that leather couch all the time! Bringing our dogs was really amazing, thank you!

We enjoyed the property overall and being on the bay is so relaxing. When we arrived we found one of the kitchen windows open, the kitchen blinds were raised up and they wouldn’t lower and several windows were unlocked. I guess that’s a housekeeping issue that needs to be addressed with them. The home was comfortable but the gas stove wouldn’t light so we couldn’t cook. Some of the ceiling fans were an issue as well. One in the downstairs bedroom was controlled by remote control and the battery was dead in the remote. Another fan in the master bedroom was set on high and the only way to adjust it was by the chain and the chain was missing. The biggest issue was trying to deal with Vacasa and their representatives. They have horrible customer service and I do not recommend using Vacasa at all. Overall we did enjoy our time there and would stay at the property again.

Great location beach in the back if the house on bay side and beach across the street kn ocean side. Really nice house, stocked very well. My only complaint is the beds, couch and recliners are comfy though! Would stay again.

First the house is located on the bay side of the island and has an awesome view of the channel. You can sit on the front porch and hear the ocean side...and get a peek a bo view of it between houses. There are parking passes to use on the beach on certain beach roads...wish they were one of the closer streets for walking back to the house but it is still beach parking. Kitchen stocked perfectly, bedrooms were laid out great 2 up 2 down, plenty of hot water, ac was cold, condition of the house was good..thinking the prior 2 rentals may have been a little rough...lots of the artwork was gone from the walls and shelves and one of the closets was filled with broken pictures and frames... absolutely awesome that we were able to bring the 3 fur critters with us and stay. Plenty of yard a d space for them to spread out and play. Do watch for loose dogs in the neighborhood.

The house was perfect for a weekend getaway. Was able to catch some waves on the gulf side and chill on the sound side. Cooked multiple dinners in the amazing kitchen. Last, but not least, caught a gorgeous sunset!
