We were a family party attending a wedding in Norwich and the location was excellent for us and very quiet. We appreciated being able to park directly outside the new build property. Keys are easily accessed from a key safe which is located next to the front door. We had the entire house to ourselves with a private fenced area which has a small patio and grass.
The beds are very narrow and as a previous reviewer said, in the main bedroom two beds are pushed together to make the size of a King Size bed i.e. 5 foot wide. It is quite disingenuous to call this an “extra large double bed”. The beds are shorter in length than a king size, which was uncomfortable for our taller guests. Also, there were no mattress protectors on the bed and every spring and ridge could be felt through the sheet.
The bedrooms are described as having a wardrobe or closet and the two smaller ones do. However, in the main bedroom there is what looks like a double wardrobe, but it was bolted and padlocked shut with a combination lock! We messaged the owner to ask for the combination, but received no reply. We had to make do with hanging our clothes from four coat hooks on the wall. There were no drawers so it was impossible to unpack properly and we had to live out of our suitcase on the floor, which is not great when you have clothes for a wedding.
The kitchen is bright but there is not nearly enough crockery for four, let alone five people. There were no large serving dishes, nor was there a coffee maker despite the description stating that there is one. We discovered that the dishwasher was smelling, stained with food and there was a pool of dirty water at the base of it. We tried to run a wash through it but without success as we think the drain was blocked. There were also no cleaning cloths in the kitchen so it was tricky to wipe down surfaces and remove marks and crumbs which were there when we arrived.
The wash basin drain upstairs and the shower drain of the en suite bathroom was blocked as well.

Very clean, good location for uni

The ease of entry to the accommodation, the accommodation was exactly as described and in a clean state, the kitchen was well equipped and there was tea and coffee available. Towels were provided for five people. Beds were all made up. Short drive from the Norfolk Broads. Can't comment on the tv as we did not turn it on. I would stay here again as a base with a group of friends.
I am being picky but hopefully constructive. It is a shame there is not enough comfortable seating for 5 people. It would have been nice for there to be toilet paper in all the bathrooms, the downstairs toilet did not have any. The beds are very narrow and more suited to children. The double room is two single beds pushed together which could be a positive if advertised as this if you wanted more single bed spaces as a group.

Good location and quiet street with good access to local shops and the City
BEWARE - The hosts tried to charge an additional fee after the booking was paid for !! They said it was for Linen, when queried, they then said it was for Cleaning ! There is no mention in any of the details to advise there would be an additional fee ! I challenged it and eventually had it waived, but how many others have they done this to !!!
The twin room had a table lamp in the middle of the beds that didn't reach to the plug socket. The master room didn't have a mirror (except in bathroom) for doing hair or makeup. The lounge had two very uncomfortable sofa's. However, it was all managable for the time we were there and it was spacious and clean too.

Very modern beautiful house with plenty of amenities. 1 double room with en suite, one twin room and one single room with family bathroom and downstairs toilet and downstairs sofa bed. Nice outside space with good living room/kitchen space on a quiet road with Tesco 1 min walk away and parking area. Tea coffee sugar and small shampoo/shower gels provided was a nice touch
Could have had a bit more contact before check in - check in listed from 3pm but had to contact the host to get the lockbox code which I received at 4.45pm. Was travelling for 4 hours to get there so started the drive up wondering if I would be able to get in or not. only other thing would be the double bed is 2 single mattresses together so a bit of an uncomfortable sleep for 2 but very very lovely experience overall and would definitely come again, very good value for money.
