Overall the condo is nice and in a nice area. Just needs a deep cleaning and some updates.
There were roaches in the kitchen. There was dust and dirt in the living room. The balcony door was broken. Pots & pans need to be replaced.

I am sad to give 3 stars because place was as pictured, nice, cozy but aure can use better cleaning in kitchen on cabinets and sure on couch after animals and spider webs are all over. But what made me to give this place only 3 stars is the neighbor who is sharing walls with this complex. From 9.30pm till 3 am she was loud, howling and talking to dog how daddy will walk him and how good dog he is and making him bark. It was like having her in with us. I understand love to animals, but this was just unhealthy and absolutely disrespectful to neighbors since the walls have absolutely zero insulation! We did hear all conversation even at 7am when she started crying how she have to go early someplace and making drama about it. We were so exhausted since no sleep whatsoever. Also paying high fee for cleaning does not include garbage and dishes. You need to take out garbage outside to garbage cans and you must start dishwasher. I would never leave mess or dishes but this was unexpected.

Great little house that’s very close to everything. We had a wonderful stay and the property managers were excellent with communication. The check in and check out process was incredibly easy and the host even brought us additional towels during our stay. Absolutely would recommend a stay here. We will be back.

The house was the perfect location for our ski trip to Jack Frost and Big Boulder. It is located on the same grounds as the Split Rock Resort, so very close to the amenities there that are open to the public, including the indoor water park. The house met all of our needs for a family of four, including 2 young children. The only thing is the heating didn’t work on the bottom floor when we were there, but I’m sure that will be fixed. Overall, we had a great stay.

Only thing was the outside wasn’t too inviting and only one room had AC. And the sauna wasn’t working. And neighbors dogs was none stop barking.

Overall we liked the stay very much. The building itself was in rough shape outside. There was a rotted facia board that required the gutter to just lay on the ground. It looked bad when getting inside. Inside there were a few little things. Light bulbs that were not working properly at different locations. The lower floor was very humid. I feel like it actually needed a humidifier or two down there to get rid of the humidity. We enjoyed the stay but just could have been a bit better. Thanks for listening

We had an amazing experience at The Bear Cub! This getaway location offered a wide range of exciting activities nearby, including the Pocono Raceway Stock Car Racing, Paint Ball, Pocono Outlets, Hawk Falls Trail, and even a train ride in Jim Thorpe. Bringing our beloved 2-year-old dog along was a true delight, and we were thrilled that the place was pet-friendly. The fact that every restaurant we visited also welcomed our furry friend was a huge relief and added to the overall enjoyment of our trip.
The community surrounding The Bear Cub was fantastic, and we loved taking morning walks through the area. The sight of ferns cascading by the road was incredibly refreshing and added to the tranquil atmosphere. The convenience of having a kitchen was a definite plus, as it allowed us to prepare some meals at our leisure.
To our delight, the host provided a selection of games for us to enjoy. Our 12 and 18-year-old kids were instantly drawn to Connect 4 and had a blast playing it. We also brought along a deck of Uno cards, which provided additional fun and entertainment during our stay.
Although we did not go to the waterpark nearby, that would be a plus as well. The house is located near a golf course for those who love to play and has a great shop called the Hub within walking distance.
I would recommend this to any family that wants to get away with their pet(s) and have a great place to stay and enjoy.

We enjoyed our stay and would give 4.5 Stars if that was an option. The communication with Vicki was great and were able to check out later on Saturday than originally planned as she let us know plans had changed for incoming renter.
The kitchen is nicely updated and upstairs is roomy. It is a split level and so they are stairs to navigate and back deck has lots of stairs, so just be aware.
Some wear and tear (normal use) does show, and a few small things that are stocked in other units, such as hair dryer and serving bowls were not provided. Not a big deal but something to be aware off. Some bulbs were burned out but there were replacements available for those we could reach.
Again, we very much enjoyed the unit and feel it was a very good value overall.

The pictures don't do it justice. The main floor great room is wonderful for relaxing, dining, playing cards or a puzzle.
The lower floor bedrooms are beautifully decorated and I loved the 2 spacious bathrooms.
We saw a deer and a beaver in the woods out back.
The host was very gracious providing snacks for us and our dog!

Inside was very nice and updated. The outside front and back could use a little improvement. Front is not very inviting. Could use landscaping in front also full of cobwebs. The back deck could use painting. But overall nice.
