About this house rental
Life is Better on the Lake! Why stay near Beaver Lake when you can stay right on it! Enjoy fishing right off the rocks at the base of the property or launch your boat from the semi-private boat launch just a few doors down. With direct lake access and 15 minutes to downtown Rogers, there is no better place to stay, fish, and splash the day away. Maybe you prefer to sit on the back deck and watch the eagles and wildlife or head to Hobbs State Park to hike. Consider Splash Landing your gateway to fun!
As for the home, when you travel, you want modern luxurious living with clean lines, comfort, and an opportunity to be on vacation with the adults. The kids? They need a place of their own. Designed with your family in mind, Splash Landing is a vacation home like none other.
While the adults relax upstairs after a fun day on the water, your kids will be plenty busy hanging out downstairs in their own pad. Ping Pong, Darts, a Chalkboard Wall, Graffiti-Style art inspired by Kurt Harring, and good acoustics will allow them to set their own vibe for the night . Don't worry, they won't be up too late after spending the day out on the water swimming, kayaking, and jumping off the cliffs right off our private trail. Put them to bed in the bunk room that sleeps 6 and/or the downstairs king bedroom and let the adults continue their fun into the wee hours of the night.
Splash Landing is a beautiful lake front home with a private staircase and natural cut trails providing private access to the shorelines of Beaver Lake. Please note, this is not a flat lot but the owners have made it as easily navigable as possible for most people using naturally found materials as dictated by The Army Corps of Engineers. Enjoy the lake view from the living room balcony, and from the two upstairs bedrooms. We love its proximity to Downtown Rogers where a a good meal, live music, or the grocery store are only a 15min drive away. Close to Prairie Creek Marina for boat rentals or bring your own boat or jet skis as we're just a few doors from the semi-private boat launch for easy launching each day.

Communication with the host was excellent and she quickly responded to our questions and needs. The kitchen was well stocked, the table size was great for meal time and games, and we were all comfortable with showers and beds.
The house deck needs attention- some boards need replaced and screws were sticking up above the decking. The grill was filthy and the handle needs work.
The trek to the lake isn’t easy. The handrail on the stairs is extremely smooth preventing a good grip, the path is steep, slick, and has loose chat- one of our group twisted her ankle on the first day.We rented the house in part because it named a “dock” in the title.
The dock housed the kayaks- which were very nice, however, the dock is NOT safe and needs maintenance. We pulled our boat out nightly but used the dock get to the kayaks and to house our lily pad, noodles etc. There are multiple exposed nails and uneven boards leading to splinters and falls. The bumpers are either nonexistent or need replaced. Improvements to the dock-even adding a ladder would make for a better experience.
The private launch was very busy on the weekend leaving no place to park the truck and trailer.
The small cliffs were perfect for jumping— easy for our little people. We did have a great stay. This review is intended to offer potential renters a more clear understanding of water access and dock usage. If the house is all that is needed- it was great.

We enjoyed the property. It had space in the right places for gathering. The location of the property was fun - the dock wasn't in the best shape but it was a fun spot and the cliffs to swim and jump to were really fun. The trail to the dock was difficult and a bit treacherous in places. I would say it needs a little work to make it safer. There wasn't a paddle board for use as shown in the pictures but the local rental place was easy to work with. There also wasn't anything to help with starting the fire - would recommend bringing your own - was very nice that the wood was provided - might suggest adding some firepit tools to the house. Overall very nice - very comfy beds and the bathrooms and house were clean. Really enjoyed our stay.

This was our first Mother’s Day without mom. We needed a time of healing and refreshing. This is just the place to do that. Beautiful setting, spectacular, well appointed home and quiet. We spent time in every area; fishing, kayaking, swimming during the day. Evenings were spent around the fire pit or in the hot tub. And playing games. So many conversations and good times. Maria is a great host. We all left there feeling rejuvenated and happy. If you need time away this is the place.

Overall property was clean with several updated areas. Had everything we needed for a long weekend. The outdoor space was awesome - fire pit, stairs down to the dock. I appreciated having plenty of towels, dish soap, trash bags - the little things were all readily available and make a stay so much easier for the guest - thank you!

We absolutely loved the all that the property had to offer. We drove to Arkansas for an early summer and there were so many places to take in the beauty of the trees and the lake. We especially enjoyed the fire pit area and the rock ledges. In the evenings we loved playing games along the big dining room table. Thank you!

Was exactly as describes and better. We wanted a nice place to relax with an awesome view. Out granddaughter is starting college here and I’m sure we will revisit during this time. Thank you for sharing your incredible place with us.

This was just a great spot for our family together for the holidays! The kids could play ping pong, hike down to the water, and play games!
Communication with the host was fast and effective. Perfect spot to hang with family/friends and unwind!

Very nice especially loved that there were several kayaks available and all of us enjoyed paddling in the lake. Caught several fish (caught and released) and enjoyed nature and the beauty of the area. Went to the Great Passion Play Friday night and the Walmart family museum on Saturday. All in all a very fun family vacation.

Our Family (ten) had a great stay. Great common area, plenty of room. Lake access is fantastic (it is a bit of a hike)
The host, Maria was very responsive and welcoming. We were provided with great information as well. Where to shop, where to visit and so on.
One note, if you rent a boat from Prairie Creek Marina they DO NOT allow boats west of the Hwy 12 bridge.

We loved the house - great space for large groups! Loved the two full masters and space downstairs.
Couple of things not mentioned in the listing.
#1 theres a steep rocky walk down to the lake, while we were all able to proceed safely (even a 7 yr old) would definitely suggest not wearing flip flops!!
#2 there is no ladder or cover on the dock, water shoes are a MUST and be prepared for no shade!
There is a nice rock area close to the trees that makes a great "camp" area during the day, (still no easy way out of the water without water shoes) its not a short walk up to the house so bring everything you need down for the day!
We did love the house and the lake is very calm in this area, granted we were not there on a holiday weekend!

This property was as advertised and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Only drawback was the location with the boat rental. They wouldn’t allow us to go under the hwy bridge to load up at the dock at the rental property. The property was great and the surrounding amenities were super. Very family friendly.

The amenities for this home were just so numerous! We had a hot tub, a fire pit, a ping pong table, and a gas grill. We had dining options inside and out. We were able to launch our boat from a semi-private ramp just 6 houses down. In addition, during the day, we were able to dock at the dock in front of the house so we could come in, cool off, and then head out again without having to take the boat in and out of the water. Our 16, 19, and 21-year-olds loved it! The family time was priceless and memorable.

Overall our stay was wonderful. The backyard is surrounded by very tall trees, which made it a lovely spot to just visit and catch up with all of our adult children.

We loved our stay at Splash Landing. We came in to the area for spring break and to do some mountain biking. The hot tub and the incredible view were the perfect thing to come back to after a long day. The shower in the master bathroom was amazing. We loved everything about the property. We hope to come back when the weather is warm enough to enjoy the lake.

Amazing property, great location close to Rogers with water front access! Our group enjoyed all of the amenities, fire pit, water activities (stand up paddle board and kayaks), etc. Patio areas were great for grilling and socializing. The property was very updated and very clean. The house had everything we needed (kitchen supplies, bedding, towels, welcome snacks, and paper toiletries). Definitely would book here again.

We loved our long weekend at Beaver Shores! The owner provided so many thoughtful amenities. We enjoyed the kayaks and paddle board even with chilly weather.
